BioShock 2 - a host of problems

Hello, I have a few simultaneous problems with Bioshock 2 that I need help. After the first installation of the game, I received an error of not having the right disc in the drive, which was the case, the problem persists but is temporarily resolved to reinsert by clicking play.

When I started the game, that he would not allow me to create a "Games for Windows Live" account, he would give me a message saying that there is a network problem or a problem with the site. I continued to play but I realized couln can't save my game, so I created a user account to play solo, but when I started to play from the start, as soon as I tried to plunder the first dead body, it would not allow me to pick up objects, the game proceeded to freeze.

Now when I start the game I see ads for nvidia and 2 k games, but after that my screen goes black and I get a window saying there was a problem and I would like to find a solution online or close the program.

I tried to reinstall a fresh boot with the same problem. I also tried to delete the file ' c:/users/guy/app data/roaming/bioshock 2 '.

My system specs are: Intel Core Quad CPU Q9650 @ 3 .00GHz @

64-bit operating system (Windows 7)
NVIDIA Geforce GTX 275

I have run very well, all other games including fallout 3, borderlands, etc dead space.

As all your other games work fine then you must watch BioShock as having a problem.  With the new game, the first thing you need to do is to verify that all your hardware (video, audio, NETWORK card, etc...) the drivers are up to date.  Once you've done that if you still have a problem, then you must perform a clean boot , and then test your game.  If the problem persists you can uninstall\reinstall the game.  If you still have a problem, you can contact the support of BioShock because this can be a problem they know.  Mike - Engineer Support Microsoft Answers

  • Network host connectivity problem

    Hi all
    I have a bit of a strange an ESXi 5 U1 host connectivity problem. The host has a network card in the 10.0.0.0/24 subnet, and from there it can ping both devices but cannot ping to two other devices. To explain a little better:
    There are two hosts with identical hardware (HP ProLiant DL380 G6) both built with the same picture of ESXi 5 U1 from HP.
    There is an IP address on the switch (Cisco 3750 gigabit) management.
    There are two servers running Openfiler, which I'll use for ISCSI data banks.
    All these devices are in the same VLAN in the 10.0.0.0/24 subnet. host 1 is identical to the 2 host configuration (bar IP address and host name, etc.). Host can ping all devices on the subnet 1 and maybe ping by all devices on the seubnet. 2, the one with the issue of the host can ping and ping the Cisco FoxyCode and host 1, but cannot ping or ping by one of the two boxes openfiler.
    Research on the openfiler boxes I see missing entries in the arp (marked as incomplete) table. Host 2 he entered complete arp for the openfiler boxes. A trace of the wireshark package shows the openfilers sending arp requests but no response from host 2. The Cisco and host 1 to get the answers.
    I have patched the critical fixes host 2 until the last critical and no, applied the latest versions of firmware HP etc. Swapped, cables, tried different switch ports and even different NICs on host 2, all to nothing does not. The Cisco ports configured all identically from host 1. The openfiler boxes are set up with interfaces servile and the Cisco switch ports are etherchannelled for these. There is no etherchannel or link aggregation etc for guests, straight connection to the front in the VLAN.
    Interestingly, all devices also has an interface in the 192.168.2.0/sous-reseau 24 for management and all devices can see all other devices here absolutely fine.
    If anyone has any ideas on where to go from here please let me know, I'm going crazy trying to understand this one!

    I wonder if the Etherchannels in Openfiler servers might not work. Depending on how the switch load balances executives, this could cause a host to work and the other is not.

  • Pavilion p6210y: SATA host adapter problem

    Hey guys,.

    I think I found a problem with the SATA host adapter in a desktop Pavilion p6210y.  I find it difficult to restore the system after a hard drive replacement, and I discovered that if I have TWO hard drive and the CD drive unplugged so the machine will start.  If I plug the hard drive OR the CD, then the machine hangs on the HP BIOS screen.  Output voltage of the PSU is normal.  I think the guest card (motherboard) is toast.

    I did a little research, and it seems that it is a known problem with this motherboard.

    I'm running the 64-bit version of Windows 7 that I also have on my laptop which is connected wireless to my network and I designed an online game which hosts on my laptop, but I want to come to my office that is connected via ethernet. I have ports forwarded correctly, so why he hosts on my laptop. When I change the port forwarding should be directed to my office it doesn't seem to work at all...     I had this problem and I solved it.

    The solution is:

    1. go into Device Manager.

    2. click on view and then on "see the hidden devices.

    3. go down the list of devices and expand the "network devices".

    4. find an adapter with the name "Microsoft Hosted virtual network card" and then right-click on it.

    5. Select activate

    6. This will allow the AdHoc created the connection, it must appear in the network connections in the network and sharing Center, if the connection to the ad hoc network does not appear then open the elevated command prompt and apply this command "netsh wlan stop hostednetwork" without the quotes.

    7. After this, the connection should appear.

    Recently I've known APC with pilot failure current state every time I try to turn it on or reactivate my new Zenbook from ASUS.     The excsd.sys is a component of ExpressCache.

    As in this thread study ExpressCache uninstall, update the driver of the TSRI and then, if you wish, reinstall the latest version of ExpressCache.

    ExpressCache is not a required software, you do not have to reinstall if uninstall you.

    Ping between two nodes of work with no latency. without password ssh is configured successfully.

    I have a server dedicated DNS (10.194.135.185). nslookups SCAN, Public and VIPs are working properly.

    Value of GATEWAY in the file/etc/sysconfig/network-scripts/ifcfg-ethn is set to the IP address of the virtual NIC adapter to the host (win7).

    This error is usually done to firewall or selinux - but since you have already disabled, I recommend you just do a restart of your two virtual machines as I have explained these mistakes here http://salmandba.blogspot.sg/2015/04/using-cluster-verification-utility.htm

    I also believe that you have also disabled Firewall (not only stopped) by using the command «chkconfig iptables» off
    My installation guide 12 c RAC excavation on Linux 6 Treaty of all the prerequisites that are almost the same for the 11 g RAC installation, please check if you have met all the requirements.

    After installation of esx host using auto deployment server and everything is good I tried to reboot the host, but each time the beginning of process of starting from the beginning of the search for dhcp

    This is the behavior expected to deploy Auto (see install ESXi using vSphere Auto deploy) If you want to install ESXi on the host directly you will have to consider during the unattended installation.

  • Host file problem

    I ca't modify the host (C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc). It shows that "you don't have permission to save in this location.  Contact administrator. But I logged as administrator. I have no other account. What do I do now?

    This is due to a restriction of the UAC (User Account Control). Right click on notepad.exe, and then click "Run ad administrator." Now load the hosts file, edit it, then save it.
