Bit variable information rate_Handbrake_Media

If I think I hand a mp4 variable framerate, because of its characteristics of reading in the bosom of Premiere Pro.

He played with MediaInfo as bit global debit mode: variable

He ran constant Handbrake as framerate through

imported again in first Pro and its characteristics of reading were good

Watch a mp4 container exported from the hand brake as constant framerate always show in MediaInfo such as variable bit rate?

I wonder why the mp4 I ran across of the handbrake as mp4 still consider variable with MediaInfo?

In fact, I don't know how to operate MediaInfo

Well, I guess is to check out in 'the tree mode' and made scroll to "video".

in the tree the original mp4 seen as variable bit rate and Handbrake export seen as a bit of 'number' (constant) rate

the original mp4 said constant framerate, but the flow is variable

I see now MediaInfo shows mp4 Handbrake exported in the form of constant tree video degradation

  • How send/read bits of information through visa

    Hello people.

I bought an encoder that reads a tape of datamatrix and returns information such as x and y position and speed. It communicates via serial 485 and I need the control trought labview, I don't know how to do this. The communication protocol is to send a telegram of the request and received a telegram in response.

To send the request telegram has 2 bytes: one containing 8 bits of information plus one parity bit another byte has the parity bit and the same 8 bits of data in the first byte, but here they are reversed. For example octet1 is 110000100 and octet2 101111011 (it takes x position)

The answer telegram contains 6 to 9 bytes (all have 8-bit, plus the parity bit). The 2nd to 5th byte contains the x position, so I need to read and convert to a decimal number.

The issue is that visa works work with strings, so I don't really know how to properly convert the information of these 2 bytes to send the request, nor how to convert the string read from the instrument to the binary number and finally to decimal. Do you have any idea?

    Greetings,

    Vitor

    Vitor Soares says:

I did the two arrays of bits, one for octet1 and one for octet2 and diverted these channels to channels and concactenated and sent to the encoder, but I got no response... I'm on the right track?

Partially. It is a frequently asked question. You need a single table of U8, containing the 2 bytes you want to send and then you can simply use Cast to Type or an array of bytes to a string for a string that you can subscribe to Write VISA.

  • Variable information from the Captivate .swf 8 integrated and vice versa

    Hello

I use 8 Captivate and created a game in Flash with AS3.  I will have NO problem running commands from Captivate embedded Flash file, using the syntax:

    MovieClip (this.parent.root) .rdcmndNextSlide = 1;

However, whenever I try to import or to export values for the variables defined by the user or even predefined such as cpQuizInfoPointsscored variables, the values do not translate back.  I tried using the same syntax as above to set the value of a variable (for example MovieClip (this.parent.root) .cpQuizInfoPointsscored = 20;).  Similarly, I tried to display the value of a Captivate variable inside the Flash file by setting an equal to the set value Captivate dynamic text field.  In the first case, nothing happens; in the latter case, the text field displays "undefined".

I have not seen a post about this particular problem.  Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?  Or is that what I try to do possible?

Thanks in advance for any thoughts.

Look in the category film control: these can be changed (some examples are cpCmndMute, cpCmndCC).

  • How to display 16-bit RGB information?

I use Photoshop CS4 v 11.0.  I opened a .tif that is 16-bit RGB.  Photoshop recognizes as 16 bits.  The tab on the image says RGB/16 *. (I do not understand the asterisk)  Image > Mode confirms that it is of 16-bit/channel.

However the info panel shows that the values of RGB 8 bits (0,255). The Panel options include a bit of depth of detection.  How can I see the RGB values, perhaps (0,32767), image .tif using Photoshop?

Simple answer-in your info panel, there is a small pipette beside RGB values. If you click this it gives you different options. Including the ability to read 16-bit values.

  • variable information in an excerpt

I don't know I have fully "get" the concept underlying the new feature of the code snippet in RH7. I understand the part about how they are reusable blocks of text you can create once and insert in many places. It's logical, but I rarely understand * exactly * the same block of text in several places. I do, however, is to include very similar instructions in many places. The steps vary slightly depending on the subject. In other words, the "Creation of X" section includes the numbered steps to configure X. the 'Creation of Y' section includes the numbered steps to set up there. and the section titled "Creating Z" includes numbered steps of configuration z except for names which is created (X Y Z vs. vs), the steps are the same.

I was hoping to use a snippet of text topics X, Y, Z that is identical (most of it), then the insertion sort a variable in the snippet that would change x to Y to Z, depending on the subject. This can be done?

    That's what I'm thinking.

  • Problems with the use of variables at the time of the SV - Loudness.vi

    Hello

I'm rather new to Labview and will have questions, get my Time-Varying Loudness calcuations out correctly. Attached is my current VI and a .csv file of my data set (calibrated in PA. sampling frequency = 50 kHz for 5 seconds). It does not produce what I expected when I run the VI. Here are my questions:

    Time-Varying Loudness:

    (1) what are the signals so much? There are hundreds of lines, but I only expect one.

    (2) why my category axis are not a range from 1 to 24 years as bark should be?

    1/3 octave Band Analsysis:

    (1) why is it incorrect? Them should not be a linear increase the frequency...

Data on the one hand be hurry and make a squeek. It is a transient noise that happens about 2 seconds. But, how could I go do a waterfall (Time (s), Frequency (Hz), Amplidtude (sones)) of this signal? Is there an easy way? or do I have to do all three signals and add to make a parcel?

Thank you very much for your help! Let me know if you need more infromation,

    -Troy

p.s. I have included a picture of the results as well.

    Hi Troy,

    (1) the SV specific volume VI 'chunks' given in blocks of 2 ms and returns then these as individual plots specific Loudness vs. Sone.  The colored lines that you see in your chart are representative of the 2 500 2 periods of time ms in your acquisition of five seconds.  Each of these plots contains 241 points, however they are ten sample "gradually", one for each sone.  The digital filter buffer takes a bit to fill and kick in properly, however, so you can give your first rows (0-. 02 seconds or more) scrutiny before using them - you can see a number of unexpected zeros around the lower sones.

    2) since you use a chart, the x-axis will be increments every race following (the previous data is stored.)  If you only want to display the most recent data, I would recommend switching to a chart, which is found in the chart controls palette.  Also, see above (#1) why the x axis are longer than 24 points.

    (3) remember that dB is a unitless measure and cannot be used in reference to another value. A typical reference for sound is 20 uPa, but you will probably need even out your data entry and determine/set dB reference.  You can take a look at the voltage from the snout to the Cloaca EU.vi scale (EU means equalized units) and from the snout to the Cloaca Set dB reference.vi.  In your case, I think the plot of Octave shows your dB from a default value of 1.  The values should be accurate with respect to the other, but you must provide a reference value to calibrate the scale.

    (4) I think that this VI is a good example how to do to create a cascade:

    Display cascading for Octave (DAQmx)

    http://zone.NI.com/DevZone/CDA/EPD/p/ID/5562

You will need to break up of your waveform into pieces, just like the specific volume VI, but the basic concept is roughly the same (take piece of waveform, take octave measure of the piece, add octave output measure cluster to cluster table, repeat for the rest of the waveform display)

Phew!  It was a bit of information.  Let me know if this makes sense and don't be intimidated by the detail and/or unknown functions or methods - you're definitely on the right track, or to ask it to at least the right questions.

  • HP Desktop mastering Pegatron Truckee MB SLI with GTX 680 Information

I just wanted to post this bit of information to you about weather SLI will WORK with HP desktop or not.

I noticed through the forums on the web and even after having talk with several personal customer support at HP that some say SLI was possible on HP desktop computers and other said that it was not I've talked 4 different HP capacity SLI employee and they have all said that it works on HP desktop even after having them reassures me over and over again.

I'm here to tell you I gave a test with two EVGA GTX 680 in my HPE-490 and it does not work... the computer will recognize the two cards and allow you to use one as a main card and another form of physx card but the "SLI" option is never accessible to the general public in the same nvidia Control Panel after the graphics card driver update and reset the bios of the motherboard... also tried three different bridges SLI make sure that the bridge was not defective... but these two cards have worked in SLI, immediately after their installation in my computer self built Sandybridge brother.

Currently I use an EVGA GTX 680 FTW and an OEM GTX 460 as a card... let physx I also tell you that if you decide to use twp graphics cards (one for the card other hand physx) that you need to put your main in the top slot graphics card and the physx card into the slot in the bottom... the motherboard will default to read the top slot as the main Board if two cards are plugged on it in order to make this work you have to do it like that.

Some of you are probably wondering how can I adapt this in a HP desktop environment... Let me tell you, it's a very tight fit and I had to cut away some of the guts of the computer to make it fit.

The GTX 680 has been incredible, but there are a few quirks, you must be aware of the especialy if you try to put one of those cards in a computer with not much airflow... these cards will be truly downclock, which can adversely affect performance if hit 70 degrees temperature... so you'll have to add some case fans to blow on the cards (like me) or remove the side panel to allow more fresh air in the case after that I'm ideling at 36 ° c with my two GTX 460 and GTX 680 games I stay less than 62 degrees because I have an aggressive profile fan put in place in precision X keep this way some of you are probably thinking cards will get really strong when you do but as long as you take a 680 GTX which uses the type of spare parts / fans is not a problem... the GTX 680 FTW model uses a quiet fan, which is not unpleasant to blow to it's max, but I also used a stock GTX 680 and it was a little hard to do and the GTX 670 is even stronger running full tilt.

I wanted to just send you this information in the hope that it may help someone make sure that if you get a card 600 series to improve your diet for a beautiful 650 watts or under power with at least 38 amps on the rail... I recommend the Corsair HX650.

    Happy gaming.

I got this figured out. They bother running to the PCI-E 2.0X16@16 2.0 as they should.

I'm guessing that my graphics card may be the culprit. If so this can be improved?

Personally, I'm computer illiterate, so I ask you to keep the simple answers please if possible.

    Hello

Bad compared to the other forests.

As you said that your mac is 64-bit, which is actually the CPU of the machine a structure bit of the architecture of the operating system.

When you say that photoshop is 64 bits, which means that there is a 64-bit architecture, which will move into a single 64-bit machine it is what your MAC.

Now, when you say on the image mode which has nothing to do with the architecture of the operating system or photoshop, it's the bits/channel information.

And now photoshop can record up to a maximum of 32 bits/channel.

So you don't have to worry about this.

Your graphics card is not guilty.

  • Convert a sweep of 16-bit grayscale tif to DNG and getting 48-bit RGB?

I have scanned hundreds of old black and white negative using Vuescan to TIFF 16-bit grayscale. If I open in Photoshop CC2014 the tab indicates that they are a single 16-bit grayscale channel. But if I have Lightroom convert them into DNG and then open them in Photoshop, they appear as 48 bit RGB or three 16-bit RGB channels. The three channels are identical. What happens here? Is it only returned as a 48-bit RGB or the DNG image byPhotoshop to store the RGB image? The DNG format is not much bigger than the TIF, so it doesn't seem to be store 48 - bits of information. I lose all the data on your way to the DNG format with a scanning in grayscale?

Given that I can export the DNGs to a tif and it refers to a single channel 16-bit, I suppose I don't lose all the information, but I'd rather not use DNG for scans in grayscale? Or should I edit in Photoshop with the three RGB channels on and understand that I am change the grayscale channel should ever export back to tiff?

It seems at least that there is a gap in the rendering of the shades of gray DNG in Photoshop?

I think that the best way to answer here is to explain my own workflow.

I have to be a little brief: it's getting very late, and I start tomorrow a roadtrip of six weeks.

I do a lot of work with TIFF scanned, and it never occurred to me to convert to DNG.

I start with rough tonal corrections, noise reduction and retouching in PS and then import the image (with all the shadow and highlight details present) in LR.

Here, I'm very good tuning and capture sharpening, but sometimes the image must return to the PS for editing. I use then change the Original and the image opens grayscale in PS. After check-in PS, I click on the exclamation mark on the thumbnail and choose import disk settings and updates to images in LR.

Given that I find the release of LR sharpening unsuitable for scanned images (it's probably optimized for digital capture), I export a new LR tiff image, open it in PS, conversion of RGB to grayscale and use Smart Sharpen for output sharpening. I wish you that LR could export in grayscale, but I've learned to live with it. You could easily implement an action of conversion in levels of gray (and 8 bits) and use it regularly.

My knowledge of the technical aspects of the dng files is limited, but my impression is that they are files in grayscale, which explains the small size of the file.

The color is added in the process of deconvolution in LR.

I do not think that your workflow with convertin to DNG will affect the quality, so stick with it if you wish.

I gladly carry on this discussion, but since I'll be on the road, you answer could take some time.

  • installation of 32-bit client 12 c YES-10151

Hi Forum, I installed the new server database oracle 12 c (x 64) on Windows 7 (x 64) operating system. When I try to install the Oracle client 12 - to 32 bits in the same machine, the installation, I get the following error: "YES - 10151:There was an error loading library: ntActionLib" however I could install the client for 32-bit 12 c in Mode InstantClient (214.0 MB)! but I can't install it in Runtime (735.0 MB) mode. My basic oracle: My Oracle Home "C:\Oracle\base": "C:\Oracle\base\product\12.1.0\dbhome_1" it is worth to mention that I installed the db server and the 32-bit client under the same roof of oracle! All advice is appreciated. Thank you

I managed to solve the problem by performing the following tasks:

    1. install the 32-bit client in an another oracle_home rather than db oracle 64-bit server.

    2 set the oracle_home to 32-bit variable

3 - update the windows path variable and replace the bin folder home of oracle with the binary 32 bits. (for example, path = path; C:\oracle\base32bit\product\12.1.0\dbhome_1\bin)

    4. open the sqlplus and sign in using this connection string: sqlplus user/password@dbname example sqlplus admin/123@orcl

Note that, when you stop and then start the listener to oracle db server, change the oracle_home to 64-bit (set oracle_home=C:\oracle\base64bit\product\12.1.0\dbhome_1)

I hope this helps someone else.
