  • Display of Windows Vista, the icons and all THE GRAPHICS suddenly pixelated, appear low quality at the highest resolution and colors

Please help, out of nowhere on my screen - background, all icons, all graphics (including the Explorer and other programs) have become rough and pixelated and seem very low qualty even if my display is set to the highest resolution management settings and color. I've not been able to find a way to restore and have no idea why it is doing this in the first place. It's really bothering me, it's hard to read (text appears fuzzy and broken up, not smooth and sharp, icons have white or another pixelation around them and do not have the 'look of glass'.) I was wondering if one of the old games my children changed my settings somewhere but I've lived every control panel I find and have not been able to correct the problem.  Even the buttons (back, forward, refresh, etc.) in Explorer have bad pixelation. That's happened? Help! :) Thank you

I would also update the drivers, firmware or software for your monitor at the same time.  Also, if you have another monitor, swap them to see if the problem goes away or moves - then we can pretty much reduce the question to the screen and not the video card (and if the updated drivers do not resolve this problem, then it's a hardware problem and you can either take a workshop of computer service repair or simply a replacement of purchase screen.)

    I hope this helps.

    Change the screen resolution

Screen resolution refers to the clarity of the text and images on your screen. At higher resolutions, items appear sharper. They appear also smaller, so more items adapted to the screen. At lower resolutions, fewer items adapted to the screen, but they are larger and easier to see. At very low resolutions, however, images may have serrated edges.

  • Rollover image fading or color for thumbnails, slideshow of thumbnails-standard

I know that this could be done with triggers, but is it possible for the thumbnails? I tried the triggers when I hover over the thumbnail goes in the fade, but when I click on the image will not develop. I know that the fade is in the way, so, basically, is there a roll of fading for thumbnails instead of using triggers?

    Hello

So to understand correctly, you want to apply fade in effect to thumbnails that triggers the slideshow?

You can try to set state for each thumbnail and apply the opacity with any selected color.

  • Flash - how is the HUGE issue of image resolution and HD - support

    Hello Flash Forums,

It's been a while since I've posted, but I would love to inform me of some of the old pros here concerning best practices using flash for large-scale environmental labelling:

1 flash supports high definition correct? I did a google search and see that it does - but not sure that I need a plug-in or it is just a parameter? My question is more inspiring-animation flash maybe highDef, or only the videos that it displays?

    2. I'm working on a graphic very large environment (like 40 ft high) and curious to know if anyone can tell me how you deal with images at this size? I remember vaugely that they do need to be 300 dpi, but I still need to maintain a certain resolution?

Thanks for any help you can provide!

    B

The limiting factors, that you're going to have case are more likely to see with what will actually being run / play your Flash content and feed it to this view. Who is responsible for the implementation of the computer system that displays this could answer. Discover the resolution of their screen set up. It will probably take a projection installation, which shows regardless of the media to a size of enlargements of. Ask if the HD 1080 video will work and if they used before, and how did he watch, etc.

If the screen ends up having a resolution of something of significantly higher resolution monitor 'high' of what a designer is, have not necessarily to have your Flash showing 100% and fill all these pixels. You can have good results by creating your Flash to width reasonale & height and then scaling that 150%, 200%, etc.

Flash displays no problems dispalying 1080 HD video, and nothing is required other than the Flash plugin. It continues to be updated to Flash Player for improving video support, so make sure you get the latest version installed on any computer that plays. YouTube has begun to show the full HD (1080) all the time, and the thread and so you can always check this site to see videos how smooth are.

  • Image image Assist, and OEM for Windows 10

From Imagedirect to ImageAsset, I need to create a Windows 10 OEM image for my users and I'm trying to understand the changes.

    1. it seems to me understand that I must use the recovery media to do a new installation I had followed some walkthroughs involving OEM installs in other messages from the forum. If I wanted to have 1511 applied update, is it possible using the downloaded from support.Dell.com recovery media? I wasn't sure if updating to include it that or if I should add that, in my build.

    2. If a user had a license of WIndows 7 OEM and themselves improved to 10 Windows through Windows Update or Windows Media creation tool, my Windows 10 OEM image would work on their system or it would fail to activate? I didn't know how the activation worked on a system that was purchased with a Windows OEM licensing of 10 compared to a system that has been upgraded to licensed Windows 10. I guess it must run the same but wanted to make sure.

    3. I see information about having the build Windows 10 will not be connected to a network during the Setup process and more information that seems to suggest that it might be necessary. I am interested in Windows updates and would like to have some applied before creating my image so that users receive it would have less updates to apply.

Thank you very much in advance for your help and your time.

    Sincerely,

    Mark O'Grady

    Hi Mark - great questions.

    1. Dell has produced a W10 OEM media updated which includes the update of 1511.  If you have purchased a system that includes Windows 10 licenses, you can use the following link to access and download this ISO.  http://www.Dell.com/support/home/us/en/04/drivers/OSISO
    2. When an upgrade is performed from Windows 7 to Windows 10, this system has a digital entitlement based on the checksum of the material.  As long as the image you generate is done with an OEM media and you don't enter a key during installation or add one in the unattend.xml file, it will activate on systems upgraded.
    3. If you build on material instead of a virtual environment and connect to the internet, unpacking of the pilots will get pushed which prevents the ImageAssist of an image cross-platform; more info here > http://en.community.dell.com/techcenter/enterprise-client/f/4916/t/19650363. There are some applications known which is (candycrush / twitter) among others, causing the sysprep to break.  more info here > https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/2769827

    =================================
Have you had success playing other video DVDs?

Maybe you need a DVD decoder?

(FWIW... it is always preferable, if you create a system restore
point before installing any software or updates)

    Info about DVD decoders:

Also, you could try the free VLC Media Player:

  • How do you define the default font size and color for the text caption and text boxes?

When I click CTR + e to open the text properties box when you are working with markup tools, the default font size is 9.

I understand how to change the font size for the individual text boxes but the size is up to 9 whenever I create a new box.

Is there a way to set a default font for brand boxes place size? I spent hours searching and have not found one.

  • XP system backup and restore for XP Mode in Windows 7 Pro

We have many customers finally replace their XP computers with new systems, but some require old software XP can easily be upgraded or replaced.

We can always clone their slow HDD to a new SSD in a new system and repair the hard disk controller, but then they still run XP.

Does anyone know of a Windows XP backup procedure (NTbackup, System Migration tool, Acronis image of the system, etc.) and then on a computer installed Windows 7 Pro with XP Mode, restore the backup to the computer in XP Mode?  In this way, they have Windows 7 for new software and can easily "initialize" their virtual XP machine?

Would seek essentially to restore a mirror image of XP so that programs are intact.

We could do something other than XP mode too - VirtualBox or VMWare would be nice too.

Thanks in advance for your ideas.

Since the update to version 15.009.20071 and today 15.009.20077, I have no control of the drawing of the tools - lines always 'Reds' and the 'fill' is always transparent.

  • How to change the font, size, color for long-term

I like sending an e-mail using color. I got Windows 7 earlier this year. I had XP. At the same time, I changed the font, size and color, and there staed like that.

However, I tried to change it again and I spent weeks trying. I know that they can be changed for each email, but I want to stay for a while until, months from now, I decided to change again.

My nail of the thumb in bridge always have evidence the adjustments I make to RAW files. Now, for the first time they have not. However when I select the images adjusted and open them in CS6 adjustments are there. I restarted bridge and PS, and I restarted the computer (Mac). Still the same problem.

I thank assani, but it wasn't the answer. The problem was, I finally understood, that the "option for generation of quality and preview thumbnails" wasn't on "high quality" as it usually is. I have no idea how this happened as I never change this option.

  • Color change to image saved and exported

    Hi all

    I hope someone can help.

I kept different images for a client, saved as CMYK and color from the client, other laptops, printers and phones is extremely different, almost like a RAW unedited image. I have checked through all the color settings and read all the forums, but nothing. The image I see in PS CS6 is very different from those printed and read by others, the skin is red and image has a very strong purple tinge. I'm going crazy...

The suggestions will be extremely beneficial as contact for Adobe is good, does not exist!

    Kind regards

There are several potential problems here. If you want to send clients, check first convert them to sRGB files.

    To go more in depth:

    • There is no such thing as 'generic' CMYK or RGB 'generic '. You have to study and work, specific CMYK and RGB icc profiles. Image > command Mode can be very misleading and lead to disastrous results, if you don't know that. What it does, is to refer to any CMYK or RGB profiles that you configured as your workspaces, in the Photoshop color settings.
    • To CMYK, you must have the right profile. The profile is one that describes in fact offset press and the papers that will be used for printed documents. Get this printer profile (or they tell you that you use). The default value of Photoshop's us Web Coated (SWOP), but it is actually not used anywhere outside America.
    • All CMYK and RGB profiles differ widely in range, otherwise said, what colors can be contained in this color space. Saturated colors that lie in the range in a single space, may be out of gamut in another. Then it just gets cut and may not be reproduced.
    • A line right profile conversion, so RGB > CMYK, RGB > RGB or something else, will keep the colors as much as possible. But out-of-range colors are lost and replaced by the closer in the range.
    • Photoshop is color managed will properly manage all these profiles and really show you what the file looks like. It will convert between them and preserve the appearance of the color. Many the most other viewers the picture are not the color management and don't know what an ICC profile. They cannot be trusted and will probably wrong colors displayed. Poor/lack of CMYK support in these viewers make it even worse.
