Black desktop screen

Hey Yes laptop last night works very well. This morning I goto start and he gets by fine print Scan finger and opens a session. But there is no office for the just my mouse pointer and a black screen. I can control alt delete and bring up the menu of the task or the option to sleep to reboot or stop Manager, but that's all. Can someone help me please?

Hello

Start the computer and log in.

Black screen, old the ctrl and alt keys and press delete.

Select Task Manager.

Click on file and select the new task.

Type rstrui - also enter a tick in the box for "Create this task with administrative privileges" - and click on Ok.

When the system restore interface is loaded, choose a restore point at least 48 hours before the opening of the session the question first and then proceed with the restoration of the system.

Kind regards

Laptop Dell Inspiron of boss - probably related spyware

Login screens Windows and startup screens appear very well. Affecting all profiles.

Black desktop, no icons, no menu start, Manager tasks does not appear

Start in safe mode, the Task Manager does not appear

Start in safe mode with command prompt, Task Manager does not start when called, explorer.exe is located in the Windows directory, does not start when it is called

Regedit will start, controlled current NT version, winlogon, shell, setting, it's okay.

Has started with the repair, System Restore, normal boot etc.

Started to run SFC, but it doesn't seem to be accessing the hard drive so I stopped it.

Have the installation disc, you wonder if extract a new copy of the file explore work - just to get off the files...

Need instructions on how to do this via the cmd prompt.

    And other suggestions

    Thanks in advance

    Thanks for the tip

The tutorial to repair/upgrade of the system indicates that you need to run Windows "inside."

When I boot to windows and insert the installation CD the autorun on the CD does not start

I can't access the Task Manager to start
I can click on ctrl alt del and the window of the user of the switch but when I select Start Task Manager nothing happens (and I waited 10 minutes)

I booted in safe mode with command prompt and ran the installation starts, but the upgrade option is disabled in safe mode

I also tried msconfig and disable the start up programs (and other MS, then those) - trying to do a clean boot.

    Still nothing

Can a few tips on how I transfer files to a USB key from the safe mode command prompt effectively?

    I forgot a lot of BACK :)

  • Desktop screen changes every week!

My Windows Vista desktop screen has a mind of its own! He changes his appearance without notice. The taskbar, start button, etc... does not move and the screen will get more small with dark borders and sometimes all the screen goes black, but the icons always appear. I usually go to the system restore to get it back, but now, this does not seem to solve the problem.

  • Black login screen

When starting, a black login screen prevents my screen 4 K of login in. Computer must be stopped with force and restarted. Memory NVRAM/PRAM resetting has not helped.

It seems that it is a problem with the mac and display negotiate the appropriate resolution.

You can use the mac at all? After the reboot, does it work?

It works with a different view?

You can try to connect "blind"? It is possible that after a disconnection of the display and the figure of mac it. (Weird, I know; but it is not really difficult to connect even without the screen, if you know what position in the list, your account is just press the left or right arrow keys, enter, password, enter).

Maybe better, if you have access to another mac, use the screen sharing feature to connect; then go to system-> Display Preferences and try to choose a frame that works.

  • On my Satellite C660-174 desktop screen does not open properly

I'm a newbie here so my question is maybe obvious to some, but not for me!

My laptop Satellite C660-174 (running Windows 7) ceased to open correctly. Everything is normal until my password is entered. Rather than open up to my "desktop" with its icons all on the side I get a page with a banner "Toshiba Leading Innovation" through it and only four random icons on the side.

How to restore my desktop screen and all the icons?

    Help will be appreciated.

It's really not easy to understand what you see exactly.
Can you please take a picture and send a link where we can see it?

I really don't understand what could be the problem, but what you can try is to start your machine with F8 and enter advanced startup options. Choose the entry 'Repair your computer', then press 'Enter '. Go forward until you enter the system recovery options. Try to system restore to earlier date. Perhaps this will help you solve problem described.

  • Laptop HP pavilion 17-f115dx: start window and desktop screen

The problem is the flashes of desktop screen between a blank blue screen with a task bar and a desktop at startup screen. My splash screen comes first, and no problem until I find myself on the desktop, then it flashes between other screens and also the splash screen. I have to control alt delete to close.

I found the solution on another thread-

    1. press CTRL Alt Delete

    2. go in Task Manager

    3. go to the Services tab

    4. look to the bottom of the window, and then click Open Services

    5. under the name of the category to find Windows Error Reporting Service

    6. right click and select Properties

    7. go in Startup Type and change to disabled

    8. click on apply, and then click OK

    The flashing should stop immediately

    Alternative route:

    1. press CTRL Alt Delete

    2. go in Task Manager

    3. Select the file--> a new task

    4. type msconfig, then click ok

    5. Select the Services tab

    6. under the name of the category to find Windows Error Reporting Service & uncheck

    7. click on apply, and then click OK

8 restart your computer & when you connect the flashing should be gone

The first set of directions worked for me, but someone else did the second set because they couldn't do the first.

    Hope this helps!

  • With the new Apple TV, I'm stuck on a black loading screen in the application to access all CBS. How can I solve this problem?

I have the new Apple TV, and after seeing a show in the application to access all CBS I'm stuck on a black loading screen. This happened almost 10 minutes now and I don't know what to do to be able to find the main screens of the application and to be able to continue to watch the shows within the app.

Press twice on the logo TV button then slide upward on the touchpad.

The CBS app is stuck and hitting the button twice allows you to force the application to quit.

Problem: Once connected, the screen flashes start screen randomly and does not respond to any input.
Effort: We followed the instructions on the HP web site for this symptom (desktop screen will Flash between a blank blue screen with a task bar and a desktop on startup (Windows 8) computer screen), but it failed at step 8 - start screen flashes in Mode safe mode with no way to find or enter step "Control Panel." We have also restored the system to the last restore point, reinstall the memory and reset the BIOS - all the HP recommended processes for video problems.
Current situation: we have yet to solve problems via the web HP site first; This has left us speechless. We went to the "Contact HP" to discuss with the service agent, but discovered that our warranty expired a week ago. We were directed to the help forum. The laptop is my son and is used for his college course. We need to help, you can provide as quickly as possible. Thank you!

I have advanced and complete steps 8-14 in the correction procedure from HP, including the center of the Action to "never check solutions" are reduced to problem reports. Then we went ahead and made the Microsoft Updates that were pending since we had it restored to a previous restore point. So far so good! The flashing screen problem is not returned. Until that Microsoft published a fix for this problem, I think that bypass it HP will keep us to leave. Thank you!

Could I ask a favor? A HP contact named Mason was initially to help us with this problem, but all attmepts to repsond to his e-mails ended in a failure to deliver ("Diagnostic - code 554).
