Black screen and resetting the system

My Macbook Pro goes to a black screen with the launch of the color wheel, which requires a reboot of strength with the power button. Restart the system fixed compensation to my home folder and preferences reset all icons by default and demanding connect me with my apple as if ID from for the first time.

This is the second time that this has happened, reset initial was thought to be caused by a recent bug in Adobe Creative cloud files deleted, but apparently it was fix so my problem can come from somewhere else

any help appreciated

With the fix Adobe deleted folder in the root is not restored. For the question remains the same even if the bug is kidnapped by Adobe. It is not restored because Adobe doesn't know what has/is in this folder.

Following what you can do: show the files hidden value and in the Finder, go to the root (select the startup disk), look at the first record, until there was a file (name beginning with a.) which is cleared by the Adobe CC update, now enter TimeMachine, go to the date before you did the update say 25 - th of February 2016, you will see the deleted file (the first file), restore it.

Then restart.

When you are unable to restore this folder, start while now the keys CMD + R, select 'Install OS': who will install OSX and let your only user data. I'm not sure that this will restore this lost file, because I don't know what it was.

    If she needs your Apple ID password and you have enabled 2-factor authentication, you might have to temporarily disable the connection to complete.

    Also, you need an internet connection to perform this step here.

    What should I do?

    Okay, it looks like some kind of a problem. Could be a hardware problem, but that's just a guess about your situation.

    First, you must perform an update of the BIOS on your computer to make sure that the rom BIOS is OK.

  • Windows 8 black screen and the cursor after the connection

    Hello. I tried to upgrade to 8.1 Windows 8 Windows and it is stuck on like 3% for one hour, so I just rebooted the computer and he returned to Windows 8. I'm going to sleep and come back the next day and go on my laptop and it auto connects me and it goes to a black screen and I only have the slider on the black screen after login. I don't see the start menu, but I receive notifications for as sticky keys or any other notifications lights. I turned off my computer at least 20 times, took out the battery, empty the battery and tried to boot in safe mode with no luck. It is unlikely that it is an internal problem, because if I leave my computer alone for a few minutes, my screen saver photos appear. If anyone can help me solve this problem or help me get in easier safe mode would make things less stressful. I have an Acer Aspire V5 - 571 series. Thank you.

    Hi Roy,

    This problem may occur because of corrupted on the computer boot files.

    I suggest you to perform the checking and automatic repair if this solves the problem.

    If you do not have a DVD of Windows 8, I suggest you check out the link to see how to create an installation of Windows 8 media:

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-in/Windows-8/create-reset-refresh-media

    Follow the methods suggested below:

    Method 1:

    Start on the recovery environment using the installation of Windows 8 media.

    Follow the steps below:

    Note: before proceeding further, make sure that the boot priority is set on DVD drive in BIOS. BIOS change / semiconductor (CMOS) to complementary metal oxide settings can cause serious problems that may prevent your computer from starting properly. Microsoft cannot guarantee that problems resulting from the configuration of the BIOS/CMOS settings can be solved. Changes to settings are at your own risk.

    • Insert the DVD to install Windows 8 on DVD-ROM and restart your computer.
    • After you start your computer by using the Windows DVD or the system repair disc, a black screen is displayed with the gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press a button on any.
    • Select the type of keyboard and good time.
    • Click repair your computer in the lower left corner.
    • Select Troubleshooting in choose an option screen.
    • In Troubleshooting screen, click Advanced options .
    • Click the automatic repair of the Advanced Options screen.
    • Then choose the operating system.
    • Windows 8 will then pick up questions on the hard drive and check that all required files are intact.

    If the problem persists, proceed to the next method.

    Method 2:

    Follow these steps to perform a system restore:

    • After you start your computer by using the Windows DVD or the system repair disc, a black screen is displayed with the gray text "Press any key to boot from CD or DVD". Press a button on any.
    • Select the type of keyboard and good time.
    • Click repair your computer in the lower left corner.
    • Select Troubleshooting in choose an option screen.
    • In troubleshooting screen, click Advanced options .
    • Select System Restore.

  • After logging on my Satellite Pro only black screen and the cursor are visible

    I have a windows vista pro (PSAASE-00G004GR) satellite after turn on and typing the password for windows vista, the screen goes black but I see that the cursor moves & because it seems that the hard drive also works in th background, but I can't see anything except the mouse cursor , I tried to boor with other options (LAST WORK safe MODE KNOWN FEATURES... etc) but it's still the same only black screen and the cursor...

    I do not prefer the product cause of my data recovery on this subject, any ideas?
    thnx

    Hello

    You have the Satellite Pro A100 PSAAS hmm if you want to save your personal data, I recommend to remove the portable computer HARD drive and try connecting it to another computer via an external USB HDD controller. These cases of 2.5 HARD disk are not expensive and you can buy it in every store of the computer.

    Then you could try to recover the laptop delivered together with the Toshiba Recovery CD.
    But wait; have you tried to connect the laptop to the external display?
    Check it!
    Maybe you could see something on the second screen.

    I think that this procedure could be useful to clarify what s wrong.
    To me this question looks like a small little dysfunction of the FL inverter.
    In this case the installation of the new operating system will help you not to solve this problem.

    But who knows the verification is necessary to find what could be wrong.

    Good luck and bye ;)

  • iPhone 6 alternating between the black screen and the Apple logo and nothing else

    my iPhone 6 alternates between a black screen and the Apple logo, what do I do?

    Hi Nathanielfromwa,

    If your iPhone 6 alternates between black screens and the Apple logo, this could be a problem that can be fixed by wiping your iPhone to factory settings. If this is the case, save your iPhone first. I've included links if you need help with backing up your iPhone, but also to reset to the factory settings.

  • At the start of the laptop goes to a black screen and says invalid partition.

    Original title: can I PRO 1-2cpu (IBM Laptop) Xp.

    • Not long I Formated my Windows XP PRO 1-2cpu, thinking that he would have run faster, not a blue screen crash and eliminate any viruses that could in fact, now that its formatted I can't use, whenever I start the laptop it goes to a black screen and says invalid partition, I don't know what that means though.

      so my question is there a way I can restore the computer back to normal? However, I don't have a recovery disk.

    A lot depends on how reformat you your hard drive.  Most manufacturers have a recovery partition on the hard drive that can be used to reinstall the operating system. Access you this by pressing a button that appears briefly at the beginning of the boot process.  If you have reformatted the drive c: partition only you might be OK and can get by using this recovery partition.  Otherwise, if you reformatted all the hard drive, then your only alternative is to get a Windows installation CD, boot from this CD and reinstall Windows.   Contact your computer manufacturer for advice.

  • Black screen and mode standby with the message "no signal".

    Correctly, it's... kind of weird, I use my computer and the monitor for a year or 2 now and don't never had real problems. The thing is that when I got home last night I found my black screen and standby mode (as if the computer was turned off (which it wasn't)). I thought that the reset will solve the problem, and so I did and didn't get the message "no signal". All tried, reconnecting cables, reset several times I could count... nothing helped for awhile.

    At any given time during one of my restarts it reworked all of a sudden no aparent reason. So going on my daily buissiness I want to get back in the saddle, when I accidentally hit the side of my computer with a book and the screen went to 'no signal' again. Just tried again and even used my cell phone to check if the monitor was working,... now comes the weird part,... also on my laptor monitor is having problems with "no signal", but only when I do my main screen. It works as a secondary screen, but I can't get the context in which to work. (finding that I'm guessing that this problem is not related to my normal computer, but I'm not sure).

    I am running vista and got a nvidia 8800GT graphics card. Also, I noticed something that is at any time using both the hdmi cable on the graphics card or using the socket with the internal chipset of my computer makes no difference. in both cases, I get "no signal" and the screen goes to sleep... Is there someone who can help me and tell me what probably is the problem here? I'm really looking forward to the answers, thank you very much for your time and effort.

    Hi Ron Suykerbuyk,

    If you are comfortable, then try to remove the CPU cover and check if the graphics card is well connected to the motherboard. Even if it is connected correctly, you can try to reconnect the graphics card and check.

    Hope this information is useful.

  • Start the computer to black screen and the computer runs hot

    original title: sick Vista laptop

    My daughter portable computer began acting strangely very yesterday.

    Once connected, I get a black screen and a cursor.  The system seems to work at full speed, because I can hear the fan, and it runs very hot.  No matter how long it sits, the desktop does not appear.

    I can use Ctrl-alt-del to display the Task Manager.  The list of processes is limited to the process of the current user, and none of them use important CPU. If I click on 'See the process for all users', taskmanager freezes and I have to disconnect to get rid of him.

    Using the Task Manager, I can kill the process Explorer and then start it again, date at which I get my desktop.  However, it is still running hot and noisy.  With the help of SysInternals ProcessExplorer, there is no process using any important CPU.  Most of the time CPU is reported as inactive.

    I don't know what to think.  A boot loader took over the system?  A hardware problem?  OS corrupted files?

    Follow these steps to try to solve your problems of boot.

    Restore point:

    http://www.howtogeek.com/HOWTO/Windows-Vista/using-Windows-Vista-system-restore/

    Do Safe Mode system restore, if it is impossible to do in Normal Mode.

    Try typing F8 at startup and in the list of Boot selections, select Mode safe using ARROW top to go there > and then press ENTER.

    Try a restore of the system once, to choose a Restore Point prior to your problem...

    Click Start > programs > Accessories > system tools > system restore > choose another time > next > etc.

    http://www.windowsvistauserguide.com/system_restore.htm

    Read the above for a very good graph shows how backward more than 5 days in the System Restore Points by checking the correct box.

    ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
    If restore work not and you do not have a Vista DVD from Microsoft, do a repair disc to do a Startup Repair:
    Download the ISO on the link provided and make a record of repair time it starts.
    Go to your Bios/Setup, or the Boot Menu at startup and change the Boot order to make the DVD/CD drive 1st in the boot order, then reboot with the disk in the drive.
    At the startup/power on you should see at the bottom of the screen either F2 or DELETE, go to Setup/Bios or F12 for the Boot Menu.
    When you have changed that, insert the Bootable disk you did in the drive and reboot.
    Link above shows what the process looks like and a manual, it load the repair options.
    NeoSmart containing the content of the Windows Vista DVD 'Recovery Centre', as we refer to him. It cannot be used to install or reinstall Windows Vista, and is just a Windows PE interface to recovering your PC. Technically, we could re-create this installation with downloadable media media freely from Microsoft (namely the Microsoft WAIK, several gigabyte download); but it is pretty darn decent of Microsoft to present Windows users who might not be able to create such a thing on their own.
    Read all the info on the website on how to create and use:
    ISO Burner:http://www.snapfiles.com/get/active-isoburner.html
    It's a very good Vista startup repair disk.
    You can do a system restart tool, system, etc it restore.
    It is NOT a disc of resettlement.
  • Satellite A100 has a black screen and will not charge in the Bios
    I bought a Satellite A100 - (model psaa8c-0fh00e) about 5 months ago. It was left overnight, which is not uncommon, and when I came back using about 15 hours later it was just a black screen. moved from the touch screen and keys, and nothing did. so I cold it starts and he died. I then turned it back as usual and the laptop turns on but the screen is completely black. It's not loading the normal Toshiba Bios screen.
    Now my question: If there is any way I can solve this, I am familiar with computers and parts. I don't get this cause I've ever had to reflash the wood or something like that. I am unsure of how to activate and I really want to have to take it to a shop, any suggestions would be helpful.
    Thanks in advance.
    Hi Conrad,.
    If your 100 starts normally (spinning HARD drive, optical drive LED flashes, fans turn etc.) then I suppose that your FL inverter or LCD screen is not. You can check this by connecting an external monitor to the laptop to see if it shows the normal display.
    On the other hand if there is no activity at all portable computer turn when you turn it on then I guess you have an internal hardware failure, possibly the main card, which must be checked by a Service partner authorized Toshiba since the unit is still under warranty if it is only 5 months old.
    Kind regards
