  It looks like a problem with the HARD drive.
  Please check if the HARD drive is recognized in the BIOS. Switch on and press F2.
  Usually, this will help you access the BIOS.

  First unplug the AC adapter and remove the battery.

  When I close my Satellite A300D the monitor turns off, of course. But when I open it again the screen remains black. I can hear everything is working normally (Windows Vista 32 bit).

  As far as I know your laptop Satellite Pro C870-1CJ was equipped with two graphics cards:

  1 - internal Intel Graphics HD 4000, which is part of the Intel CPU
  2 external ATI Radeon HD M 7610

  The error that contains information about the atikmgpag.sys file seems to be related to the ATI graphics card driver.

  I'm not sure, but it might be possible that the graphics chip from ATI external began to malfunction.

  It may be a problem with one of your memory modules, if you have two memory cards in your laptop try just using one at a time, but if you have only one then you need to test with another.
