  Hi looking for help. I have a satellite C660-21Z and in recent days the keyboard started playing up, some keys don't work at all and the touchpad worked only occasionally.

  After trying different afew suggestions and uninstall last updates etc. I still had no luck, so I tried updating the BIOS when it went to reboot turned and then nothing, it's just sitting with the power light on and the fan runs and has been like that for about an hour!

  When I run a SWF file via my IE browser, I have no missing icons or black screen that appears. During the generation of the content to publish SWF with HTML5, it passes through successfully.

  However, remove the battery, disconnect the AC adapter, wait up to an hour and then reconnect the battery and the AC adapter.

  If the laptop doesn t boot I think that the motherboard must be replaced. Ask your local ASP for help. They can order and swap the motherboard.

  Operating system: windows 7 Home premium

  Problem: when I try to turn on the computer I see the Toshiba screen and then a black screen with a underscore that blinks several times then stops, and the computer is blocked like that. The fan seems to be working. I can't go to mode without failure or boot options, even if I press f8 or f12 nonstop.

  Last time I started mode, I was stuck on the screen but the connection keyboard touchpad did not work and I couldn't stop. After that I have the strength of closing down and try to restart stuck like that. No beeps or anything like that.

  I tried my laptop with the original recovery CD or DVD recovery. He just stopped with the black screen and the error message.

  If possible, try to get a new one and try installing the OS using recovery media again.

  I reinstalled just WXP on the cell above and everything was fine until I downloaded and installed the site pc diagnostic tool. Restarting the laptop but there is no HARD drive activity and the screen was black after a few minutes it turns off.

  To me it seems very strange that the laptop is dead after the installation of the diagnostic tool. I think that it s only a setback.

  If you are not able to boot from the CD and the laptop doesn't display anything on the screen, then it looks like a serious hardware problem.

  Maybe the motherboard, CPU, or memory modules are dead.
  It's really not easy to tell what's exactly wrong

  I think it s time for an ASP.
