Black streak on a scanning/copy (Office Jet 8600.)

Hello

I'll do a quick tutorial on how to fix the black streaks on a problem to scan or copy.

This problem could be due to the problem of calibration of scan during the March.

Now, this can be easily solved by one step. This step is a hard reset with the printer.

Hard Reset:

Unplug the power cord at the back of the printer and then on the wall. After this please take out the ink cartridges. Once you disconnect the two, wait 30 seconds then plug it back in the printer first, then the wall.

Which tends to resolve streaks on a question of copy/scanning that happens after the departure to the top.

I suggest you clean the glass of the scanner with a cloth and glass cleaner. You can follow this document which will give you a few steps more on how to clean the scanner glass.

Remember if you find one of my post useful or want to say thanks don't forget to click the White Star under my name to give me congratulations.
I really appreciate it!

I hope this helps.

I'm sorry you have a problem with the vertical lines in the ADF.

Try to clean with water and lint rollers. There is also a glass of small strip (rectangular) when you lift the lid. Also clean.

  • Office Jet 8600: HP Office Jet 8600-> 8620 same ink cartridges?

Can someone tell me if the Office Jet 8600 and 8620 new can use the same ink cartridges?

    Hello

Yes, both use the 950 HP ink cartridges.

However, consider the 950 ink cartridges have been updated and the 8610 support only cartridge of new generation, manufactured in October 2012 or later.

You can find the location of the cartrideg version in the link below:

  • Office Jet 8600 Premium: printing from iPhone to non - Airprint Office Jet

I'm trying to set up a simple network. I have a router Linksys, Windows 7 computer, HP Office Jet 8600 Premium and a few iPhones.  I want to be able to print from the computer and print wireless from iPhones.

My first thought was to connect the computer and the printer to the router using Ethernet cables and turn off the radio of the printer.  If I do this, when I connect my iPhone to the network router wireless, will they see the printer and be able to print?

Or do I need to connect the printer to the wireless router?  If I do this, the computer will still be able to print through the router?

    Thank you.

    Hello

You can connect the printer to your router with an ethernet cable or wireless.

As long as the printer and iPhones are connected to the same router, you can print to the printer using AirPrint.

    Kind regards

  • HP Office Jet 8600 ADF jams on one side

I have a very gently used HP Office Jet 8600

The ADF jams on one side. I tried cleaning and the reset, but still have the same problem

As it is printer very slightly used, I am very annoyed with this problem.

I contacted HP. The printer is out of warranty and the problem was a feeding tube.

They were a good deal in a good discount on a new HP printer and 3 years guarantee

They also offered 2 sets of ink cartridges free of charge.

I accepted that offer and thanked for their attempt to help.

  • HP Office Jet 8600. Low voice, trying to fax

HP Office Jet 8600.  Trying to send fax when a voice comes through the printer said something in a very low voice. So low canoe do you what what they saying ar. Is their any way to turn the sound all in one printer?

    Hey tiber,.

I would like to start by saying, I paraphrase to make sure that I fully understand what the customer is asking. In this case, my first thought was something like that, "I understand you're hearing voices {joke}.

Joke all aside, I do not think it is a volume control on the printer. There is an option to increase the Volume of his Fax, but I think it's for the ringtone. Discover

If you tap on the arrow to the right of the printer, then tap the settings icon, you can select the fax configuration option. In the configuration of the fax machine, go to the configuration of the fax machine and choose the Volume of its Fax - strong.

I suspect that the voice you hear is probably an operator saying something like "Please hang up and try your call again."

    I hope this helps.

  • HP Office Jet 8600 Fax (not fax)

Recently, I asked my web company to change my modem in order to include a telephone line so that I can use my fax on the HP Office Jet function and I have such a misery the fax to work. When I plug the cable from the printer (line 1/2) to the modem (phone line) and I run the fax test, it tells me that there is no dial tone.  Can anyone help!

It is because this isn't the preferred method for the transmission of faxes. You will probably need a digital filter on the line to improve your chances of send/receive. However, even with this it is not a guarantee for fax technology is designed for a telephone line analog, not who is associated with an internet service.

This is a documentation on the best ways to set up the fax machine: http://support.hp.com/us-en/document/buu50333

I would certainly try the digital filter on the first line. And if that does not work, or the quality, I would say either using an analog fax line or a digital fax service (both cost about the same amount).

I hope this information is useful and have a great day!

Click the Apple icon, then software update, make sure that you have available HP and Apple updates installed.

Scan using picture Capture or Preview as shown below, the HP scanning software is not compatible with the Mavericks and can provide unexpected results:

  • HP Office Jet 8600 Premium: scan using the glass rather than the feed document dumpster

Hello, I have the above printer and I would like to analyze an old photo using the technique of the flat bed scanner rather than feed the loading of documents. Can help you with this?

Sure.  In your scanning software select flat instead of document feeder.

  • Scanning on Office Jet 6110

Does anyone have a solution to my problem?  I can print but cannot scan.

Thanks for your quick response, but also a Web site. It's too bad that the scan is no longer supported. It was one of the reasons why I bought this product. I feel in a way cheated.

  • Issue of scanning/Printing Office Pro 8600 N911g ADF

The printer works perfectlyt except when scanning or printing through the ADF. When the charger is used to scan or print material shows a thin, but documents line strong, black from top to the bottom of the printed output (or scanned in).

This line does not appear if the document is feed into the ADF and is about 1 1/4 "from the right side of the front of the scanned doc and the same distance on the back, but on the left side. If scanned into the computer and saved the doc file scan seems to have the line in the file. I thought it might be a problem of ink cartridge, but if the analysis file has a line on it of course is not a cartridge problem. The original doc of feeding through the ADF remains prestine. Interestingly, when the line appears on the printed doc or scan does not appear to align with a roller or the device of the feeder with the module duplex or ADF.

Have completed all the steps described on the HP support site in the cleaning of the rollers, etc. on both the two the duplexer and the ADF without success. The problem occurs only when a document is fed through the ADF, so am reasonably sure that the problem is internal to this part of the unit or it could be a software driver problem.

Am a relative novice here so any help, suggestions or advice would be really appreciated.
