BlackBerry API supports the reflection?

Hello

So far, I found no clue as the BlackBerry api support for reflection.  As we know, if this is supported, which would bring so much practice. (Android has this support now.)

BlackBerry is a flavor of J2ME, which doesn't support reflection, annotations, generics or other cool and useful Java features.

    My Blackberry is a "curve" and it did not come with a radio, it is still running the connection of network when it is powered off and put in charge?

    tbilisoft does not have a classical radio, it actually means the network connection. 'Radio' is another word to describe it.

  • BlackBerry PlayBook has the API for the magnetometer support?

    Hi all

    I want to know that is there any support for the magnetometer on BlackBerry PlayBook AIR api API together?

    I want to develop an application that needs a magnetometer support, pls answer me with this ASAP.

    Thank you

    If I had to * guess *, everyone works on Vitosha boulevard, so we * could * get a SDK for AIR update after that and * possibly * some updates to the API and the new features. That * could * happen later this summer/fall.

  • BlackBerry Z10 BlackBerry Desktop Software does not support the BlackBerry 10 operating system

    I am wanting to sync the Z10 with my Mac andhave times link BB and BB Desktop Software but the message it gives me is:

    This BlackBerry device running the BlackBerry 10 operating system.  BlackBerry Desktop Software does not support the BlackBerry 10 operating system. Visit www.blackberry.com/support to learn more about how to synchronize your multimedia files, backup and restore data from the camera and more, with your device.

    All software are up to date on Mac and BBZ10

    What should I do?

    You have the two desktop software and link configurΘ for dΘmarrer when a device is connected to your Mac. You must go into the Desktop software settings (I don't remember exactly what to do, but there should be some settings at the top right) and set it to not open when a device is connected. Once you have it set to not open when your phone is connected, make sure that the link is set to open. That should solve your problem.

    Let us know if that helps you.

  • is not abstract and does not substitute the abstract method callLogRemoved (net.rim.blackberry.api.phone.phonelogs.CallLog)

    Can someone tell me why im getting the following error

    is not abstract and does not substitute the abstract method callLogRemoved (net.rim.blackberry.api.phone.phonelogs.CallLog)

    callLogRemoved is set, I tried to remove it and it also gives me the same error

    Here is my code

    Thanks in advance for answer

    Net.rim.blackberry.api.phone import. *;
    Net.rim.blackberry.api.phone.phonelogs import. *;
    //*******************************************************************************//
    public class mylistener extends Thread implements {PhoneLogListener}

    System.out.println("/***/"); "
    System.out.println ("CallLog removed');
    System.out.println("/***/"); "
    }
    {} public void callLogAdded (int arg0)
    System.out.println("/***/"); "
    System.out.println ("CallLog added");
    System.out.println("/***/"); "
    }
    ' public void callLogUpdated (int arg0, int arg1) {}

    {} public void reset()
    System.out.println("/***/"); "
    System.out.println ("CallLog Reset");
    System.out.println("/***/"); "
    }

    }

    Javadoc documentation:

    public void callLogRemoved (CallLog cl)

    but you have coded:

    public void callLogRemoved (int arg0)

    An int is not a CallLog, so these signatures do not match.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BlackBerry support insists that STV100-1 does not support the China Mobile HK?

    Then I go to Hong Kong right now with my Priv, using a prepaid of China Mobile Hong Kong that I've used with my classic. Noticed that I can not make calls with it so I called BlackBerry charge to open a support case.

    I noticed two things:

    -I am able to receive a 4G signal

    -Whenever I make a call, network goes to no Service. I also can't find any network if the phone is set on 2G or 3G only

    -I can not receive calls, it keeps saying number not reachable, as if the phone was turned off

    -In the phone app, my number is listed as unknown.

    After a lot of troubleshooting with the support rep, she argued that my private does not support the China Mobile HK, which doesn't seem wise. I'm temporarily using the card with a backup of Telus/Koodo G4, while my private does not work, and it works fine.

    Priv STV100-1 supports:

    • FD - LTE 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7, 12, 17, 20, 29, 30
    • HSPA + 1, 2, 4, 5/6, 8

    H812 G4 Telus LG support:

    • FD - LTE 2, 4, 5, 7, 12, 17
    • HSPA + 1, 2, 4, 5/6

    China Mobile uses UMTS and LTE 3/7 1/8. This is why don't the Priv actually be MORE supported? I ' n suspect a hardware issue yet I can't seem to convince management of the case.

    Okay, BlackBerry RMAing my device now, so I guess that's it.

  • Q10 Q10 blackBerry does not connect to the world of Blackberry. Support hard to find.

    my blackberry Q10 is the world opening of blackberry and after opening, it only shows a black screen for a few seconds and closes.

    provider tells me to ask the support of blackberry, blackberry site shows: no support given.

    just think to throw this phone and switch to android.

    on the internet a lot of advice to connect to BBworld music app works is not for me.

    First of all, if you bought the Q10 the supplier while they are supposed to support. If they can't solve the problem then they will escalate your case to BlackBerry. So they tell you to contact directly the BlackBerry violates their contract with BlackBerry. This site is NOT an official support channel, but rather a peer to peer support forum, where users like you and me to help each other to solve problems.

    Having said that, have you tried to reboot the device by removing the battery? You're on a Wifi or Mobile network? Try a good WiFi.

    If none of this works, then you will need to wipe the device and try again. Use BB software link to perform a full backup and then reset the security. Instructions for this are here: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB33591

    Once the device is wiped to go through the installation process and connect to the wifi. Then open BBWorld and connect with your BBID. Go at this point and post back how it goes.

  • Removal of Smartphones blackBerry and reading the emails in Outlook not reflecting only not on Blackberry

    I've set up by O2 of BIS and links to 3 email accounts.  They are all IMAP.  I start Outlook to connect to these accounts from my laptop.  Almost everything works perfectly.  Always receive emails for delivered to Outlook and Blackberry OK.  If I open an e-mail or delete it on Blackberry, then this is reflected in the accounts of e-mail OK.  All emails deleted on the Blackberry are displayed in a basket on my email account.  What does not work, it is when I delete or read an e-mail in Outlook.  This is reflected on the Blackberry and I have to manually read or delete messages on the subject.  All the settings for accounts on the Blackberry look good balance that is wireless enabled, the victories of the mailbox and delete on handheld and mailbox is enabled.  If I do a balance now, nothing happens, read and deleted messages are still on the Blackberry.

    Any ideas anyone?

    You need BES to do, only BIS is not enough

  • Lack of 4.2.2 Android API of the basic documents

    Hey people,

    I was pleased with the release of support of 4.2.2 with the Android Runtime Android. I looked for an updated list of supported APIs, but the only thing I could find was:

    The BlackBerry Runtime for Android apps applications supports Android 4.2.2 (BlackBerry 10.2 beta) and 2.3.3. 4.2.2 Android API support information will be available soon.

    On the official Android Runtime API Support Page (https://developer.blackberry.com/android/apisupport/).

    Do you have any delivery date for documentation that you can share with us? I'm very curious to know if the NFC is supported in the new version of Runtime Android.

    Thank you for your help.

    Best regards

    Raphael

    Hi RThie,

    Thanks to touch base.

    By our roadmap, the Gold release 10.2 for the iteration of Jelly Bean of the Runtime for Android BlackBerry applications will be in August. At that time, the Jelly Bean 4.2.2 documentation will be available.

    Note: Near Field Communication (NFC) is not on the roadmap for inclusion in the next update. However, it is supported on the platform of development native/Cascades.

  • Is there a way to get the owner of BlackBerry phone to the BlackBerry browser number?

    We are trying to identify the user by their BlackBerry phone number in a web application Java running on a WebSphere version 6.1 application server (JDK5.0). BlackBerry users access the application through BlackBerry browser. Is it possible to get the phone from the owner of the number with type of JavaScript code and pass the phone back number to the Web server? Has anyone done this type of programming?

    We use curve and BlackBerry Torch.

    Thank you in advance.

    It is not possible to read the phone number of the user of the BlackBerry browser application.  There is no object of JavaScript in the context of the browser which allows a web site to access this type of information (or the browser exposes this info).

    However, during the incorporation of an object browser in a Java application (for example using the framework WebWorks, or creating an application of Java-Web hybrid from scratch), you have the ability to access the necessary telephone API which allows you to read the active phone number.

    One suggestion would be to create a BlackBerry application using the WebWorks platform, which support your JSP page.  Your users then install and use this client on their BlackBerry (instead to access the content via the browser), and then you can use device API such as the phone API to add functionality for your application.

    Sincerely,

    Adam
