BlackBerry-blackBerry Smartphones don't curve NO battery life

Hello all I just bought a blackberry curve 8250. .i responsible for four hours and is gone to work... low and behold a few hours my blackberry was dead! I was shocked and upset I had no phone every day... I went home and charge it for 10 hours... It's just 10 hours and low and here are 15 minutes the bar disappear from... as soon as I'm at work I charge it again... This is absurd.

My Nokia lasted 3 days! I have no midn load blackberry every day, but with a life of 2 hours is a joke... Of course, it must be faulty? I haven't yet started emailing or still... just browsing using blackberry mesenger and a few quick phone calls...

It is important to note that I don't live in a 'black box' I have no reception in the House with optus but telstra and vodafone are very well... again my nokia never had a short battery life... can someone help me out here... im really regretting buying a blackberry and I'm stuck with it for 2 years now!

If your battery runs out THAT fast, you have other ongoing things.

This, for now, with smart BlackBerry powered phone, remove the battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart.

There is no harm in it, and doing so will kill all active applications.

  • BB blackBerry smartphones don't Curve 8900 no button or scroll the entry work

Hi, I'm looking for something with a curve of friends. Phone powers upward but cannot use any key or scroll. I have stripped and cleaned the scroll ball, and there was a very heavy dried dust in scroll housing. Which I cleaned it with a soft brush. I factory reset, using BB Manager (0kay), but this problem still persists. I watched the Ribbon connectors and they seem to be connected properly. Any suggestions please?

It could be anything. It sounds like the keyboard or the water has gone bad. However, it could be something in the main map too. You won't know until you start replacing parts.

  • BlackBerry smartphones receive do not eMail, battery life goes fast

This weekend, all of a sudden my independence started to go fast, and then I wasn't getting e-mail messages.  I re-entered all of my emails to att. BlackBerry and removed the battery to restart my phone.  I can send eMails, but do not yet get on my bberry.  Any ideas?

    Thank you!

    Nathan

Solved by pinkdaisies... Thanks Rock Star!  See below

Finally a solution that worked! T-Mobile and the customer service unfortunately were not able to help, but research in Motion (RIM) my phone manufacturer has solved the problem of e-mail! Apparently, the old version of facebook causes conflicts with the receipt of emails.  You need to go into your Options, Options, advanced, then Applications, then click on Facebook.  Click the menu button, then select modules then scroll down your list until you see "net_rim_bb_facebook".  Beside that, you can see the version number.  You must have version 1.2.0.35

If you have an earlier version, delete Facebook.  When you remove it, you will be asked to reboot your phone.  When you restart, the facebook icon will be the "desktop" of your phone.  Click on it, and it will take you to the site, so you can download the new version.

  • BROWSER blackBerry smartphones don't DO NOT WORK

This is getting quite frustrating. I get that cannot connect to the server, please try again error and it takes forever to get even the google home page to load. What should I do?

OK thanks... you came very close to what I need... except just saying 'mistake' in regard to music downloads... but, any...

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you need to get in touch with your service provider and insist that they honor the formal support that they are contractually required to provide you with. Do not let you fob before having 100% solved the situation. If they tell you to contact RIM, don't let them not on the hook, then either... insist that they tell you exactly how you should contact RIM. If they say anything OTHER that they will increase you rim (for example, if they tell you to independently seek the support of the RIM), and then accept it. Only through an escalation of your service provider can you receive all official support from RIM.

Looks like they have made significant changes to their network... and they must ensure that their paying customers will continue to receive the services that they pay.

    Good luck!

  • Button of browser blackBerry Smartphones No. on curve 9300?

Hi all, my original BB curve 9300 was stolen - son he has liked it so much I bought another one from an Internet auction site. All was well until my son has noticed there was no browser button. I rang vodafone who said that everything was fine with his contract. They helped me through the access remote and backed up, then tried to restore and update all nothing done. The only thing they think is that it is a business phone where a company buys a quantity of phones to give to employees, but they do not surf the net, so it is disabled. My question is, is that correct? Can do something to restore the navigation, or is it something else?
    Thanks Nicky

    Hi all!

the e-mail on my 9320 function does not work correctly. I have correctly configured my gmail on mydevice account and I get emails and receive notifications when they arrive, HOWEVER...

When I opened the email all I see is heading for the topic and who it is from, there is no message body. Looking back through my old emails, the only ones I have read completely are those that I received BlackBerry when I first set up my email confirming the installation. If I select answer or forward, it opens the E-mail project but then the email app is closed completely and I'm suddenly brought to my home screen.

    What I've tried so far:

-Turning device and turn it on again

-removal and setting up my email account once again

-wear the device to where I bought it. they offered to download blackberrydesktop on my PC Manager and backup then restore my phone. I did it without a change in behavior from my blackberry

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry ID App world update and battery life

    Hello

Yesterday, I received a message saying I needed to update my blackberry app world to integrate a Blackberry ID in the new version.  After completing the update, my battery life has been significantly reduced.

My normal operation autonomy is about 24 to 32 hours.  I got the phone on the charger overnight and after cutting the cord this morning, 4 hours later, I'm at 40% battery, where I should be 90-95%.

I have not done other updates since the Blackberry ID push, and normally my data usage is low. (IE, less than 300 MB per month)

You ask what are my options in this case.  I guess I'll have to work on the resettlement of the application through my Blackberry Desktop manager, but I was wondering if there is something I can do in the immediate future.  I've done several soft resets, and it did not help.  I'll do a hard reset (remove battery) and try that.

    Thank you.

After a few system updates and deleting app world, my battery issues have been resolved.  marking this post completed.

  • BlackBerry smartphones don't Smart not so storm

I'm at my wit's end. Extremely frustrated new user of blackberry. My phone is ex-US storm 9530. I have the dreaded "app error 523 Reset"... I took the South African Vodacom phone and they don't take because the number of IME is not compatible with their system. I went to repair shops and they can't solve the problem. I tried the instructions on site and forums of blackberry without success. I even downloaded the OS on my PC and tried to solve the problem without success. The seller in Cape Town has not responded to my SOS. I have no one else to turn to. What I have now is a dead piece of fancy equipment that I have spent a fortune on my scholarship and I used for a month only 3 or pleased...! Was there a problem with the storm series that someone is not talking? I bought with enthusiasm the BBerry starting to regret.

Hello and welcome to the community!

    For reference, see this KB:

KB24395 "Error 523", "App Error 523", or "JVM 523" is displayed on the BlackBerry smartphone

You seem to have done the efforts recommended, but your post, I can determine just what happened when you were looking for support from your service provider. However, I can't say any of this:

    jayimbo wrote:

You see, "without success" says virtually nothing. The download was successful? Failed installation on your PC? How did the installation of your BB? "Without success" only let me guess... which is not a good use of your time. Please detail exactly what you done with that part of your appeal tent, as well as the results of each step of the process that you followed. Details. Completeness. You must be very complete as it has several possible paths, you could follow... I not only need to know which way you used, but the results of each step you take along this path.

    Thank you.

  • Video blackBerry smartphones helps on curve 8520

people, I bought a new blackberry curve 8520. I cannot play mp4 in her videos... I don't want to convert videos every time and then put it in my phone...

Please suggest me software that could be installed in the cell so that I can see with ease

    Hello

When you have a video on your desktop and want to put on your Blackberry, the chances are that he will not be in the proper format. you have three ways of doing things in your BB:

    • You can use Roxio Media Manager (see the many discussions about this program that is available when you download the "Blackberry Desktop Manager with Media Manager"
    • You can use a web converter-> blackberry like http://blueapple.mobi/
    • You can convert the video yourself, then move it to your Blackberry.

For download on your blackberry, simpler is to connect your Blackberry, set it in "Mass Storage" (UMS) and Drag mode ' n "drag the file in your folder \Videos\ on your blackberry (you don't need the Desktop Manager to do)."

For the conversion of the video, I discovered a free and open-source program called AKME FFmpeg (name ugly, but easy to use). It can be downloaded here: SourceForge > AKME FFmpeg .

There is only one screen: choose the file to convert, choose the Blackberry (for example Blackberry Curve 8300 400 Kbps), select the name of the destination file and choose the ratio if necessary (for example youtube FLV videos are in 16:9 instead of 4:3 by default). then click more and the conversion begins. I love mp4: best 3gp quality and can be viewed with a regular Media Player like VLC or Windows Media Player.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones wallpaper resets on reboot & battery delivers

    Hello

I use a 9700, carrier: Claro Jamaica, OS version: 5.0.0.586 & I noticed that my wallpaper is reset by default every time that I reboot. I tried several versions of the OS, but the problem persists. How can this be repaired?

What is the average battery life I should get my camera with average usage data?

Where are stored your wallpapers? On the Micro SD card? And whoever it is defaulting to the memory of the device or SD card as well? Try deleting all your screen background images and add new ones from your PC, size 480 x 360 in a new folder on the MicroSD card.

There could be a corrupt image or image file. Or there might be a problem with the card.

Battery life depends on many: Bluetooth, WLAN, 3G, all eat very fast.

I moderate usage data on the 3G network, with BT and WLAN on, I'm charging every second night.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones don't update OS Bundle 1647 7.1 7.1 Bundle 2102 on Curve 9360, asking to check the connection to the network. Solved

The update stops after the backup is complete. My connection is smooth, broad-band.  I also downloaded the link of direct update from Vodafone Australia http://au.blackberry.com/support/apps-and-software/desktop-and-device-download-sites.html

I had the same problem earlier during the updating of the OS6 OS7 to, at the time ' it allows to stop the backup mid. I have blacberry Canada assistance to do, but I forgot the procedure.

I almost tried everything but a hard reset, which I don't want. The update appears on BB dev Mgr not on the handset.

I finally got to work without calling Blackberry, with a little help from here.         http://forums.CrackBerry.com/BlackBerry-Curve-9370-9360-9350-f237/how-upgrade-OS-7-1-curve-9360-a-73...

I have not followed all the instructions, however. I have dd was as follows:

1 remove all software RIM of program and features.

2 remove all traces of remaining RIM program files.

    3 reboot the device.

    4. install the handset and service provider of installation I got: http://au.blackberry.com/support/apps-and-software/desktop-and-device-download-sites.html

And it was there, all done.

  • Emails from blackBerry Smartphones don't automatically get pushed to my curve. Only when I use the browser.

Yesterday, I posted my emails from my hotmail account seem to come in batches to my Curve 8330. Someone suggested that the problem was due to MS Messenger running on my computer. That makes sense, so I considered resolved thread. Unfortunately, the same thing occurs still even after I Quit Messenger. Now I realize that my e-mails only get pushed to my BB, when I use the browser on my phone. Is there a setting I can adjust?

    Thank you!

In situations of this kind, it would be useful to post again this same thread, so that we can follow the previous suggestions.

However, do the following on your BlackBerry:

    1. options > advanced > host Routing Table > Menu > register.

2 send your service from your carrier's BIS site books.
    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/Where_can_I_log_into_my_BIS_account%3F

    3. with the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart

    4. dial * 228 on your device.
