  I have the FaceBook app on my iPhone, but I can't get the app on my macbook air running iOS X El Capitan.  There is a Facebook for iPhone and iPad, but not for Mac application.  I could access Facebook via the web, but I lose the functionality in this way.

  I have a problem with the Facebook app for my TouchPad - it starts only once or twice and then it won't start more.

  Looks like the works still features related to the account (photos etc), just the app itself that won't start.

  I have already tried:

  * Uninstall/reinstall

  * Uninstall/reboot/reinstall

  Works for a short period:

  * Erase data (followed of re-registration/reinstall etc.)

  * Inkwell (not tried it myself, but apparently works also for a little while)

  Anyone else here with a TouchPad that knows these symptoms? Inkwell/deletion is not a solution because the I have to redo _tout_.

  I don't know if they fixed the issue directly or if it was because of another bug, but after the 3.0.2 update the Facebook app now starts with my regional setting

  OK, "update" last month for Facebook was actually a killer app and installs a web launcher instead.

  Looks like you are using a beta version of Facebook which requires a unique key to access the app.  I suggest to remove the app and reload the latest standard version of the blackberry world.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Facebook app has no icon "favorite places".

  My wife has a BB Torch, and we do not find the "Favorite places" icon on the Ribbon or banner of the Facebook app.  I pressed the menu button and control options, but there is nothing in there.  I tried to check the updates from the front but it was leaving tick check automatically.  GPS location is enabled in system properties.  Any suggestions?

  so here is the question... you do not get a password business unless you are on a BES plan, it is for professional use... for personal use, you would use BIS (blackberry internet service)... to do this, you need a data plan activated BIS, chances are, your data plan is not for Blackberry use...
  I would give Vodafone a call and check your tariff plan.
  Once you have a plan active BIS, will allow you to have another option other than of the company e-mail configuration.
