  I had some problems with OS 6 in the past. So to make it work every time. I use loader.exe to install the new OS with these directions instead of Desktop Manager. YMMV.

  Manual device OS upgrade instructions:

  1. start by searching for your operator and the system operating file that you want to use.

  5. This step may not be necessary, use BBSAK from BBSAK.org and wipe the device (after doing a full backup), then after you get the 507 error (no OS installed) on your device.

  6 remove the internet connection for PC and reboot. (this is necessary to stop referencing the file vedor.xml)

  7. plug the BlackBerry and double-click on "Loader.exe." It is located in the same place as the above vendor.xml file was in.

  8. restoration of applications, settings, etc. from a backup.

• Smartphone App World for blackBerry error - not available in the App World updated

  BlackBerry has sent me a message that an update was available for one of my apps game 'shoppers paradise '.   When I click on the link to download the upgrade, it gives me an error message that the upgrade is not available via App World.

  Is anyone else having this problem?  BlackBerry is working on this issue?

  Could have happened to several things:

  (1) the proponent has misidentified something and the AppWorld catalog is messed up now

  (2) RIM has made a mistake and the AppWorld catalog is messed up now

  (3) there may be some technical problem that it blocks

  (4) I don't know there is more...

  As to your question:

  It is impossible for anyone here to know the answer to this. What I suggest is that you contact the developer of the app and report it. They have a different channel in RIM thanks to which they can increase getting AppWorld corrected to properly distribute their application.

  If you want to degenerate into RIM, you through your formal support channel - your carrier.

  Yesteraday I started operating system up-to-date software (from 7.1.8xx to 7.1.2xxx I think).

  After a while, the screen showed "App Error 602" and "Reset".

  Do a reset via the abovementioned display or pop battery option simply returns the device to the same State.

  I tried to download BlackBerry Desktop Software (710_b42), seemed to acknowledge a problem initially and offered to reload the software (at the cost of losing my apps, etc.).  I tried and the procedure failed with:

  "There was an error in your software update"
  "A connection to the device could not be established.  Please ensure that the device is properly connected to the docking station or the USB cable, and the cradle or the USB cable is properly plugged into your computer.  Also to ensure that the device made of start-up operations.  Run the Application loader wizard again. »

  The physical connection is obviously not the problem since Desktop software has been able to detect that it is a 9900 and offered also to reload.

  Assistance would be most appreciated.

  I finally got o/s to reload.  I still don't know why it worked on the third attempt, but not before, but I'm reactivated and now functional.

  Have you tried to download the latest BlackBerry Desktop Software on the site? You can uninstall and reinstall the desktop software you have on your computer.  Just be patient as systems and devices may be unpredictable.

  If all else fails, you can contact your carrier or service provider for the other troubleshooting steps, because they have a BlackBerry trained technical support team that can help you with this kind of question.

  I recently updated my software on my BlackBerry Curve 9360 to 7.1 Bundle 2494.  After my phone rebooted, I noticed that my Hotmail account icon has disappeared.  However, the account is still listed in the installation screen, and memo messages still appear in the "Messages" icon  Is anyway to recover the Hotmail icon?  I tried to remove and reinstall the account, but it does make a difference.  Thank you.

  Two things to check, make sure that it has not found its way in to one of your subfolders.  Also, be sure that it is not hidden.  Click on the BB (or) key the Menu key, and select Show all.

  No, that would not work. The bold is currently only a device of GSM network.

  Your Sprint is a CDMA network carrier. You cannot mix.

  The "BOLD" of Rogers will work on ATT in the United States.

  It worked without downgrading and upgrading the operating system... I had all the versions of operating system for the installation of 7.0 to 7.1 my fone 4WD files... Initially tried downgrading and upgrading of the past months, but it did not work... But now he gave another chance and this time then I installed d bones 2 my system I usa chose instead of usually nigeria, my position, and surprisingly, it worked... The rest operating system I installed it, I chose usa and for more than a WEEK... My fone works fine...

  If other people who have similar problems... If your card does not work try elsewhere... you never can tell that he could solve this... A sustainable solution.

  I updated my BlackBerry Z10 to 10.1.0.273 via WiFi and since then I was able to access the data when I am not connected to WiFi. The indicator of the mobile Force appears as tiny and BlackBerry signal never appears. This is - due to a bad installation, as it seems not hold at a given time. I use the software version 10.1.0.273 on model STL100-2 with the Version of the OS 10.1.0.1720 on Orange UK (EA).

  I tried a battery pull, turn signals and data (which when I had problems with the data before the update, solved the problem), but it has not solved the problem.

  Any other information that you need please let me know.

  Hi, I was able to edit the APN settings, but whenever I've saved, he has not saved. I solved it now by creating a backup copy. Then do a security wipe, then restore it from the backup.   Just got a new Storm 2 and can't find the zero ('0') key, when the keyboard is in landscape mode... when the QWERTY keyboard is shifted to alt to display numbers & punctuation, numbered from 1 to 9 keys will appear but only a hidden empty box where the '0' should be.  It seems that the only way to enter a '0' in a message must put the camera in portrait mode, enter the key and then go back to the landscape.  This is just my camera?

  I have not seen this problem, you are on the 9550 model?

  Have you done all that it recharges battery traction and a value of 0 is still missing?
