BlackBerry Q10 hard to restore the data of my bold 9900 at my new Q10.

Hi guys...

If im having real problems with that. I live in Sweden and... blackberry is not really appreciated here, but I LOVE the phone and how it works. I think this is my 5th model! (curved, 2 put in bold, tourch and now Q10)

My "BOLD" 9900 stopt working mysteriously this morning and I got a hold of a Q10. The problem is that my "BOLD" (and all previous models, I had before) work with 'Bb Desktop'. Q10 asked me to download link "bb".

To add to the problem, my "BOLD" went on a rant and blow instead of "Troubleshooting" as I expected, he did a factory reset.

Now, I have a wiper on "BOLD" and a Q10 who used to restore data "BOLD" for the new Q10.

I can see several files on my computer (macbook pro) where all the previous backups are; but the bb link will not let me restore files? !!!

I'm lost here seriously. Would appreciate ANY help.

Best regards

Saleh

"BOLD" data backup will not restore a device as the Q10 BB10. There are methods to transfer data, but still need the device contain the data :

http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/KB33322

What I would do is to restore a backup on the "BOLD" and then follow the instructions in the KB that I posted above to transfer the data to the Q10.

I recently bought a Bold 9900. Unlike my older 8520, this phone is an option to choose between browser and browser Internet Hotspot. Then I did some R & D on the net and found out that the 7.0.0.261 OS does not have this feature. Instead, it passes to the browser or Hotspot on its own depending on what kind of service you are using that is to say whether a Wi - fi or BIS. I just want to know who is this thing, OS 7.0.0.261 true or there is something wrong with my phone. And if something is wrong, what can I do about it? Pease reply someone...!

  • How to restore the data on my iCloud (if I upgraded to it 50 GB a day after it was downgraded due to a credit card problem which is now fixed)?

I got an email saying the account should be downgraded, but he had already been demoted to less than a day after the mail has been sent. I got an e-mail to alert a week before, but I forgot to correct the problem and the day of the charge, I had another but he was already at the end.

is there a way to restore the data, or at least to understand what type of data was lost?

    Thanks in advance

If you have lost data because you leave your obsolete data plan, so I'm afraid that you have lost it unless you have a backup somewhere.

  • Restore the data file

    Hello

    Initial situation and config:

    Server: Win2k3 Sp1 32 bit
    Database: 10.2.0.4 Standard noarchivelog mode
    RMAN catalog on different server.
    Cold backup

Therefore, I was invited to do a restore from a backup of database. What he needs, it's to restore the controlfile, spfile and a data from a backup file complete performed via RMAN. He does NOT INTEND to use them, they just want to see their restored from the backup.

Restore the spfile and the controlfile is not a problem, and I was able to restore them to a Test directory. But since I can't restore datafile 1 to 'C:\dest', I googled how to make these.

I came up with these, which I think who should restore a data file to a different location, but I don't know if it's okay. And since I started on the database server, I prefer to ask first.

    The value of newname to 'C:\datafiles\datafile1.dbf' to 'C:\Test\datafile1.dbf ';
restore the data file 'C:\Test\datafile1.dbf '.

Would this work? It must be run with the open database altering State and work and will not somehow it. If not, can someone help me here? The only thing needed, he did restore a data file just to get...

    Thanks for the tips!

    Add this

    RMAN > run {}
    value of newname for datafile 'C:\datafiles\datafile1.dbf' to 'C:\Test\datafile1.dbf ';
restore the data file ' C:\Test\datafile1.dbf';l
    switch datafile;
    }

It will update the control file with the new location of this data file

Disconnect your phone from BlackBerry Desktop Software, wait a few seconds and try again. Sometimes COMICS does not detect your phone on the first try; you might even have to try several times. Once it is connected, you are prompted to load the operating system that you have downloaded.

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot-~ 5 minutes...
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

There are several methods (which, BTW, no I believe to be useful to your situation):

    • KB14058 How to delete all data and applications in the smartphone BlackBerry using the security option wipe

N ° of BB devices lack a complete email client on them. Instead, they depend on the BIS service to provide messaging functionality. BIS is active when you have also listed Internet/personal email where you currently see only Enterprise. All services of BIS, are sent to the device via data carrier network... contact them are therefore the right approach to discover why their network is no longer to deliver to you the services that you pay for.

  • PX1269E - how to restore the data?

    Hello

I have a disc Px1269e toshiba external hard. When I start it up I heard a noise. But regardless of the operating system (Linux or Windows), the drive is not mounted and do not figure in the list of devices. How can I restore my data?

Is there no chance to recover my data?

    Help, please

    Hey,.

If the drive is not mounted you must mount and format before, you can use it, but it will delete everything on a HARD drive, so all data on it are lost, but I hope that you have a backup on your computer or laptop?

But you can also try a program like PC Inspector Data Recovery file recovery or something else. If you are lucky, some data can be restored.

  • Restore the data in the external drive using Time Machine

    Hi y ' All!

I store my photos in my external hard drive because there is not enough space in memory is internal. This is actually my second drive external hard than my first (Adata HE720) is not the beginning of last year. Unfortunately, my WD Elements has stopped working and I can't restore data using Time Machine, as the drive is not found in Time Machine under devices, and I'm sure that I restored my photo library and many other files from my old external drive using Time Machine.

Can someone tell me how to recover my old files? I have many other important data here including my photos and I don't want to lose them. I'm fairly positive that Time Machine allows me to get the data as is the point of it.

    Thank you in advance!

P.S. If you guys have any recommendation on a reliable external drive, please do tell me!

Hey guys, I found the problem.

It turns out that I'm never giving time Machine to deselect my external drive to backup; Therefore, there is absolutely no copy done during execution Time machine. I really don't understand why Apple made this the default behavior, but it is what it is.

So, people, don't forget to go to Time Machine preferences and make sure that you remove the external hard drive that you want to backup under options. Once you do, you can enter the time Machine and your drive will appear under devices.

    See you soon.

  • Restore the data to backup the Windows XP system files

I have a backup of the Windows XP system to an external drive.  I need to restore my data from this external hard drive files only.  I don't have an XP machine.  Ideally, I would like to restore my data files on a Windows 7 computer and save them to the external drive. • Smartphones blackBerry how to transfer all the data from my BlackBerry/Outlook to new computer

    Nice day

I am currently using a Torch 9800 on my old Dell using Microsoft Outlook 2003.  I just bought a new Dell computer and installed Microsoft Office 2010 with Outlook.  I would like to transfer all my data from my BlackBerry Torch / Outlook to my new computer.

Can I install BlackBerry desktop on my new computer and just sync with my flashlight or do I make a back-up to my old computer and restore the backup file to my new computer?

    Thank you.

It depends on what everything you want moved. You can google for more information about how to transfer all your Outlook, including mail settings and all of your PIM data.

If it's just the calendar, tasks and address book data, then if your BB has everything you want on it, then you can install BDS on the new computer and set up a synchronization one-way system your BB to Outlook to transfer everything in the new perspective. Once it is on both devices settings of two-way synchronization.

I would like to make a backup of your BB before you do any synchronization to a new computer, just in case where you screw up the sync and removes the BB PIM data.

  • can application not available I restore the data from an encrypted backup?

I had to get my iPhone repaired, so I did a full backup to iTunes and reset Once it was fixed, I have restored the backup, but a few apps "could not be restored. In the case of the one that interests me, the app no longer seems to exist on the App Store - I found a link for it from a review of old, but the link is dead: the app no longer exists. Since it is an application that stores data on the heights of our children, and I had used it for a few years, I would like to be able to recover at least the RAW files of my support, even if the app no longer exists. It is not a large amount of data. The backup is encrypted, so none of the files have names that are meaningful, it is impossible to guess what file is associated with that particular application. Any suggestions?

If you have the app in the iTunes library on your computer you can restore it from there.

  • New iPad: restore the data from the old iPad, but...

I got a new iPad. I have already backed up my old iPad to iTunes and wanted to put in place the new iPad to restore this backup data. BUT when I connected to iTunes, I've learned that I have to update the operating system first. He wouldn't let me NOT restore from backup! I had to set up as a new iPad.

So, I did the installation of the new operating system. But I have a lot of applications and data from the old iPad I want on the new iPad. How can I quickly transfer these data? I have found no method to restore the backup of the old iPad now since. Frustrated!

    Follow the directions here: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT203434

Basically, now that iOS is updated you need to clear the iPad and then you can restore from a backup. -AJ

  • How to restore the data that was on my computer 3 days ago

    original title: restore data

Can someone tell me please how to restore my computer had on it three days ago? I'm on the ignorant point, so please tell me what buttons to push and in what order. Thank you very much.

    Sorry its start Classic.

    You have:

Start - All Programs - Accessories - System Tools and system restore.

Check "restore my computer to an hour of Earle" and select the date and "Next"

  • System Restore will not restore the selected date, even if the date is in bold in the home

It just says: cannot restore the selected date

Usually, this is caused by your anti-virus program is interfering with the system restore.  Norton is especially guilty of this behavior.  Try restarting your computer in Mode without fail (repeatedly tap key the F8 key during the restart of the computer), and then perform your safe mode system restore.  When it restarts after you perform the restore, allow him to start in normal mode.
