BlackBerry Q10 Q10 email removal server

My emails on my Blackberry Q10 when I delete them on my phone it also removes them off the server. There is no option to stop this. Causing me real problems. It of OK on the old software, but not on the 273 software.

It is a question about the BlackBerry10 OS since the release in January and has not yet been set.

It may be, but BlackBerry has not commented on or advised.

In the meantime, if you're on a Courier IMAP server, you can choose to FILE these messages (you wanted deleted from the device but registered on your server). Once filed, these messages will be visible on your Q10 (you may need to open your Hub > settings > display and "hide filed messages).

  • BlackBerry Q10 emails read in Outlook are removed on my Q10

    Hello

On my btinternet email account I had to configure it as IMAP. Q10 sends and receives emails so that seems to work OK. However, if I find an email in Outlook 2007, it is deleted on my Q10. How can I change that so it is kept on the BB please? (I can understand that it would be logical that it should be deleted on the BB if I have deleted in Outlook, but why must it be deleted on Q10 even if I just display the message in Outlook)?

    Thank you

    John

If you move the emails from the server to a personal folder/inbkx in Outlook the Yes. No matter how the email is moved or deleted. If it disappears from the server for some reason any that it will disappear from the Q10

  • Can BlackBerry Q10 I remove the gmail email account, but leave the contacts gmail and calendar?

    Hi all

I want to remove the e-mail my HUB gmail account, but I don't want to delete gmail account entirely as I still want to synchronize calendar and contacts - most important. Is anyway to do this? To meet your quriosity I have configured domain with my google account, so I have e-mail account secondary which is the right domain address and rather, I use google address in my messages.

    OR at least:

Is there a way to completely disable synchronization of email account? I put update in settings on "manual" but it is always up to date when I activate the wifi or data which is crazy because bb10 ate my data plan all when I wanted to check the bus because I get a lot of emails.

Should be no problem. You may need to re-add the account from scratch and leave email calendar and contacts sync, but it should work as long as your GMail account is still valid.

  • BlackBerry Q10 Emails remain highlighted (blue)

I meet a strange problem, after using the option "select more" when deleting emails, after selected emails are deleted, the display returns to you email normal page, now, when I tap on an email, rather than open this e-mail, he pointed out actually it, even after I tap again on this e-mail and the e-mail opens, once I hit 'back' to the e-mail page that email remains highlighted. I can't get the removed organ point, unless I go to the option and click on Mark no read / reading... If anyone can help?

OK, so now do a full reboot... this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

  • BlackBerry Q10 Q10 - How to filter emails?

After a recent stint at the new Q10, it seems that all filters email that I had set up for my blackberry service were disabled.

Obviously, the ability to filter emails (newsletter, etc.) are passed on to the bby is a key part of the appeal of bby, I'm sure that they would not eliminate this feature.

However - how I put it to the top/reactivate it?

I have a standard POP3 based corporate email (not gmail, hotmail, etc.)

    I have several e-mail addresses

I use Vodafone in the United Kingdom

Thank you for your comments and assistance.

    Hey,.

Welcome to BlackBerry Support Community Forums.

When you use BlackBerry 10, you must configure your e-mail filters and rules for the mail server, the BlackBerry Internet service email filter options are not available for BlackBerry 10.

Let us know if you have any other questions.

    Thank you.

  • BlackBerry Q10 ActiveSync does not synchronize my Contacts after changing to another Exchange Server

I changed to another supplier of services of Exchange and now the problems with my Contacts on the Blackberry Q10. After the configuration of the new Exchange ActiveSync account, I observe the folliwng:

    1. New contacts created in Outlook / Exchange Server will not synchronize to the Q10.
    2. New contacts created on the Blackberry are synchronized backed the Exchange Server / Outlook Client.
    3. BlackBerry-Contacts are visible, but won't open (like "zombies").
    4. BlackBerry Contacts from other sources (Facebook, WhatsApp) are no longer bound together, in other words, it seems that the person has multiple contacts entries.
    5. Sending / receiving mails and work on the Blackberry calendar entries.

I fixed it myself. Now, the Contacts are all back in, deduplicated and healthy. That's what I did, step by step, in settings > accounts:
1 turn off Sync contact on the Exchange ActiveSync account
    2 delete the Facebook account
3 remove account Skype and gmail
    4. run "Delete local Contacts"
    5. in Contacts, check the number of Contacts: contact no.
    Then in settings > accounts:
    6. turn on synchronization of Contact for an Exchange account
    7. This brought all Exchange contacts
    8. Add Facebook, Skype and a gmail accounts.

  • BlackBerry® Q10 Q10 email does not

I got my Blackberry Q10 for a few months and was in love with it... until recently when I started having issues by e-mail.  Currently, I'm completely unable to send mail from my POP3 e-mail address business - which completely defeats the purpose of having a smartphone.   I updated the software, rebooted or shut down cellular and wifi... nothing seems to work.

I receive emails on my smartphone and send using GMAIL, but I can't send through my POP3 server.   My email works fine on my desktop.  What is particularly annoying, is that it does not give an error message does not seem to do anything.  NO checkmark, just an envelope which makes it look like a sent email received.

Anyone else having this problem?  Any resolution?  Please, I want to continue to support BB but I need help.

    Welcome to the forums,

Your SMTP has a password as on an update, it is common for passwords does not restore?

  • BlackBerry® Q10 masking email

    Hello

I upgraded to BB10 of BB9900 and I can't find a way to hide my email. I use yahoo for sending small businesses & reading emails on my BB10 I mask with my office email address.

Previously, using my BB9900 and other models blackberry before it, there is a way to hide the answer mail that is to:

BB. Model: Blackberry Q10 model #: SQN100-3 software version: 10.2.1.2101 I hope you can help me.

BTW, when viber will be available in the BBQ10? Thank you

Hello and welcome to the community!

The "masking" you wonder is something that has been asked in other threads before, but is not currently available. If it will be or will never exist is not something here, we can know.

    spgaon wrote:

BTW, when viber will be available in the BBQ10?

When / if they release... but only they can know. Apps are not "pulled" by BB... rather, they are "pushed" by the developer, which controls the entire process.

    Good luck!

  • Q10 blackBerry cannot send email from my Q10 without wi fi

When I'm away from my wifi e-mails can be received but not sent.  My email address is by Cogeco and Rogers is wireless network.  Or to say that they can help me.  Rogers stated that Cogeco and Rogers do not connect together, and that the previous software used by Blackberry has been changed.  This makes my useless email so on the road.  A blackberry should send emails!  I don't know whether to believe Rogers or not!  They said there is a fix, but it would make my BB cannot send e-mails while I'm at home.  This situation will be resolved by Blackberry?

Hello and welcome to the community!

    Reference:

    • KB33824 How to integrate a Cogeco e-mail on a smartphone BlackBerry PlayBook or BlackBerry 10

Carefully note the information at the bottom of this KB... the problem is with Cogeco, not the BlackBerry. I suspect the fix they mentioned is to use Cogeco outside facing SMTP servers, which may not be accessible when you're home (e.g., Cogeco system "inside").

A different difficulty would be to abandon Cogeco for an email provider that allows you indeed appropriate access to their servers of e-mail from all locations. You could put a redirector on Cogeco to this other email provider.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Q10 BlackBerry Q10 delete on a mailbox

My manager wants to delete e-mails pocket and they should not be received in microsoft outlook or Gmail server he bought Blackberry Q10, it's on Gmail, as on the previous Blackberry bold 9900, it allows to remove a particular message and bb will indicate whether to delete computer pouch or box to the letters and you choose ball and the message will not be received or downloaded in Microsoft Outlook. your help is very appreciated.

As the way current, it's getting emails on blackberry and Microsoft Outlook.

    Your support is much appreciated.

    Thank you best regards &,.

The current BlackBerry10 OS does not delete on the handheld only.

BlackBerry10 features ActiveSync from your emails with your e-mail server. Basically, it is to 'mirror', which is on your server. Delete on the server is a deletion on the handheld and delete on handheld computer removes the server.

You might consider using the function of FILE on the Q10, to file the e-mail in a different folder on the mail server and the selection of Q10 to hide filed messages.

  • BlackBerry® 10 delete email, phone and it deletes the server

E-mail accounts have been set up on our new phones Blackberry Q10 as POP3, but they act like IMAP for example if you delete an email on the phone it removes the server and therefore won't be available to be downloaded, for example, Outlook when asked.

I understand that this question cannot be processed through settings etc at this time because it requires an OS10 update.

As we don't don't need a type IMAP system and need to be POP3, can someone to Blackberry please confirm if this is to be corrected in time for the next update OS10?

HA, not correct, no crystall ball! I wish that 90% of other users of the forum here understood this.

BlackBerry has not announced an ETA on the release. Understand also that device operating system releases are "released" by specific carriers once they are certified and trained in their support technicians, and when these carriers release the OS to their users is another question. If you are in the USA, which might be made of the month. Unfortunately.

The rumors are that 10.2.1 will be announced this month, January.

But still, you are able to load any model same carrier by a manual process and is not hard. Someone at - it a low to medium scale "geek" can do.  If you are interested, I can give you instructions.  Devices with automatic charger OS10 update
