  well after my first week of owning a Q10.

  software update and the only problem was that it reproduces all my entries contact therefore had to manually remove entries from more than 260.

  the urgent notice I need now is the definition of the speed dials.

  I'm going to phone page > pull down the top screen > settings > short keypress > together as security 9/c - 8 / Fire x or

  stop heart/e 2

  as you can guess I work in a hospital. the problem is when I press the quick key for everything that ive programmed in it makes a page for:

  call a contact

  text by contact

  applications - bbm / calculator / callender / camera

  so his thought, I want something C and not the speed dial.

  any ideas as this is very important, especially if we have a call/cardiac accident stop and I have to faff about the composition of the emergency number.

  Ive joined 3 other forums including vodafone to see if anyone has any ideas.

  15 minutes ago he was still doing the same thing and taking me to a menu screen.

  I have download a screenshot app so I can post exactly what its weight and guess what... his work.

  I press one of the dialing numbers fast storred to get a screenshot and it dials the number.

  only thing I could put this down too is a glitch in the software and loading a new program launched his * beep * speed.

  and now im left with just a white screen with a small box in the middle and a cross going through it

  can some 1 Please tell me I can fix and how or have I just broke the thing forever

  Ive looked on the pc to see if it had backed up the device (which I don't think he was)

  so there must be a way I can download a new os on blackberry

  How can I change my voice mail (together under #1) speed dial so that I can add my password? You can do it on other BlackBerry and regular Verizon phones.

  I would like to change the links shortcut already assigned to a number short contact.  The only speed dial options I have are only those who have not already been assigned to the plant.  Is this possible on a classic?

  The pre-assigned it is locked, which is normally #1 voice message. Cannot modify it.

  To change other through settings that I realized just above, press and hold ON this entry > Edit.

  I have what seems to be a stupid question.  I'm trying to access my speed dial list.  The user's manual advises click on * Menu *, click * list speed dial *, but I have no icon for the speed dial list.

  As a Treo 650 to a "BOLD" move.  I got the Treo speed dial programmed to dial the numbers and passwords for Remote Call Forwarding (AT & T), voicemail at home, etc.

  Is there a way to pass this info on to "BOLD" or add the news of even speed dial in?

  Below the instructions on how you can transfer data from the Curve 8530 to the new Q10 use BlackBerry link.

  Note: This method requires a PC or a Mac with BlackBerry installed link.

  * BlackBerry link only supports the Tablet BlackBerry PlayBook and smartphones BlackBerry 10, with the exception of the migration of initial data of a BlackBerry smartphone running BlackBerry Device Software 5.0 or BlackBerry 6 to 7.1 for the smartphone BlackBerry 10.
  * BlackBerry Link is available from www.blackberry.com/blackberrylink and is able to operate simultaneously with BlackBerry Desktop Software for easy migration to BlackBerry 10.
  * 10 blackBerry Smartphones will offer an option for auto-install of BlackBerry connection when it is connected to a computer (Mac and Windows)

  Before using BlackBerry link for the migration, make sure that:

  * BlackBerry link is installed on the PC or Mac that will be used for migration.
  * The two BlackBerry smartphone models are detected and can connect to the BlackBerry on the PC or Mac link.

  Follow the steps to transfer data using BlackBerry link below

  1. plug the BlackBerry smartphone running BlackBerry Device Software 5.0 or BlackBerry 6 to 7.1.

  3. Select Restore > restore from backup > Legacy device backup files.
  4. Select the desired backup file.
  5. place a tick next to the data to be restored in the smartphone BlackBerry 10. To restore the data all supported, place a check next to restore all data.
  6. tap on restore.

  OK so here is my problem, my sister gave me her blackberry 9900 like shes got the new iphone.

  So heres where my problems began.

  I put my sim card from his cell phone and lit,

  Then around the top came the blackberry id so I clicked on logout and he says that, as the SIM card changed id to do a wipe, so he says type blackberry words to wipe it is what I did.

  So after where it says "Please wait while your device is to be wiped" or some thing in the lines, he went to a white screen and did nothing like 5 minutes so I decided to take out the battery and put it back in to see if it works, I pressed the power button and the word BlackBerry with blackberry sign came and the loading bar white bit at the bottom and after the white line at the bottom of loading had finished he went to a white screen, once again, only this time with a percentage of thing, when it hit 100% he exploded and reloaded at the part where once again the word blackberry and sign is there and the white line at the bottom of loading and now it moves not in this page , Well it does exactly is after completing loading (white line goes all the way to the top) it goes to a black screen and then did the same thing again and again the word line and white blackberry in the background load, and then he goes out and does the same thing over and over again.

  So I read a few messages from people and reading plug in to pc and charge Blackberry desktop manager what I did and it recognizes the phone but on the up coming Desktop Manager "blackberry desktop software can communicate with the device", I clicked on update, then repair but nothing happens just goes back to not to communicate with the phone while the phone is the same * beep * thing blackberry Word with the sign beside him, loading bar at the bottom will fill then restarts and does the same thing over and over again!

  I use the palm desktop software for my agenda, and I use outlook express for my e-mail contacts.

  I've never used Outlook.

  Can I have blackberry import my calendar from Palm?

  Can get it my contacts from outlook express?

  If and when this happens, if I make a change on the pone it will sync to my palm and outlook express?

  Hi all

  I turned on my 9300 the other SIMs day and I received a new text message on it that I read & deleted...

  I then put in my old SIM and the alert at the top of the screen (1 envelope) which notifies you when you have a new message is still there!

  I have deleted all messages, emails, checked all folders, saved files, restarted (hundreds of times!), but the notice is still there.

  It obviously isn't a major problem, but I find it incredibly annoying!

  Any help to solve the problem would be greatly appreciated!

  On your homescreen go to message, go on a date box says say today, then press the Menu button > scroll down and click "mark prior reading. and then do a restart of battery as lthis pull: power to the device on remove the battery, wait for a min. then reinsert and wait until it reboot, see if she's still there.

  I have a curve 8900 that I got off of ebay from a seller who got very good food back. However the when I got on the phone he has an orange logo on the back of the phone. the seller has unlocked the phone. but everytime I make a call from the phone it says "call failed".   I just switched to a 8310 to a 8900 and then I downgraded to OS v5.0.0.411 because my standby button would not work. What happened is that I lost my Notepad completely... and I tried everything mentioned by anyone on the various sites.

  I tried the application loader, but the memo pad application is not displayed

  I tried to show all the apps and looked in each folder, but it is not there

  Checked in the list of applications on the phone and its not there

  First of all, the eve of new OS works completely different. Press the lock button on the top to turn the new pending. To lock the device, you must go to the lock icon in the Ribbon. This will be true for all OS in the future. This isn't a bug, it's the way things are now.

• Smartphones from blackBerry Curve 8530 dead. Need help

  My 8530 worked fine in the day-then it is stopped for some reason any. The battery is fully charged. The phone will power any. When plugged into a charger the red LED lights up briefly then there is a symbol of a battery charge that will appear on the screen. The phone still does nothing. When connected to my computer in the Device Manager the phone is recognized by the computer but I can't use all the data.

  Any suggestions? Phone 3rd in 4 months!

  I removed the battery several times to try to reset. I left out the battery for about 30 minutes, re-installed and bingo! If first you don't succeed try again! It is running. Thanks for your help.
