  You can create a thread that is running on a given interval, then use ApplicationManager to get applications running. which returns an array of application descriptor. from there, you can check the names of runtime applications. but this applies only to applications that runs on the first plan and not substantive.

• Window command prompt of the blackBerry keeps opening with link software

  I am running Windows 7 Home Premium - 64-bit. After link was last updated, I started to see an opening for a flash with what seems to be a running BACK in a window of the window command prompt.  I have tried several techniques to eliminate this disabling including startup commands. After a service at the local computer store, we thought we had it licked. First time I plugged my phone - nothing. The computer does not recognize it and I opened the link - this is the boring window was popping up again. I completely removed the link and voila - the window has passed. I've never had this with previous versions of link. Any suggestions?

  I believe that this has already been covered, but I can't find the answer.  I have a curve 9300 OS6.  For some reason any I can no longer open attachments to emails.  The files seem to be renamed winmail.dat and the messege is "the type of attachment can be seen on the device", no matter what type of file it was originally (.mp3, .jpg, etc.).  It seems that this has just started happening in the last day or two.

  I spoke with AT & T Unified Messaging Center .tif fax files.  They have referenced Solution Center technical Blackberry for indicate me that Blackberry does not yet support the opening of the .tif as they (AT & T) send out.   Apparently, it was only in April that BB has begun to support their files audio .wav.

  I'm not no tech, so I guess if they are correct in the present, I simply have to wait for enough support changes have been made to open Fax.

  If AT & T info is not correct, please let me know if there is no workaround for this.

  Hello!

  The message "file system full" is the root of your problem. The reason why you do not find it on your BB is because it could not be put into memory. You need to see that you can remove to make room for this new image that you have completed. Check your statistics memory device (Options > memory) and see what you have. If you have a media card, start saving things instead of the memory of the device. If you already have an and it is full, then, well, you have filled everything simply your device... it's not much to do except to start deleting things to make room for new things.

  I was able to read the attachments (word, .pdf, .xls) but for some reason, I can receive is no longer with them.  There is an attachment that can not be opened which is a winmail.dat file.  To my knowledge, I did nothing to stop opening attachments!  I've upgraded to Version 5 of the software in the hope that this would not solve the problem, but he did not.  However, I can open .jpg files.  I sync with Outlook still functioning, and I see OK attachments in Outlook.  Any ideas would be welcome.

  Thanks for this feniljain idea, but all the files have been less than 30 KB.  But I solved the problem. I went in Applications/Doc and found that there is a license agreement - somehow - become "denied."  I don't know how it could have happened that I must have accepted the license agreement when I had my Blackberry some 9 months ago as it was working fine until about 3 weeks ago.  So I now "re-accepted" the agreement and he re-tested and it works very well for the docs, xls and pdf.  The small mysteries of life sent to try us!
