  Hello. If it's a while before you get your grade up... ball maybe try new because they really are very easy to put in... Cost about $10. All you need is a Tork screwdriver to #6. For $20.00, you can get the track ball sensor. If that held all what to fix--about $30.00.

  I really liked mine when the trackball knitted. I had "unlocked it" for $10.00 - for the card SIM that works very well with a SIM prepaid outside the country.

  PS - I've used past cnn and everything is fine - I ended up ordering a motion sensor, as it was too expensive, a new phone just bin.  Hope that's of some use to you.

  Just activated two days ago, no problem until this morning. Trackball is completely insensitive to the home screen. After pressing the menu button, it works fine on the biggest application menu.

  Clicking nor scrolling work.

  Looks like you have stuffed animals or "filth" in the housing of the trackball.  You can try to climb down hard on the trackball, then view with force.  Sometimes that loosen everything that is the cause of stick.

• BlackBerry smartphone Trackball is broken

  Today the trackball on my 8220 steadily to go to the right.  I go to a T-Mobile tomorrow store to swap out.  Physically, it moves to the right.  My fingers sliding on top but the ball doesn't move.  It works well to go left or up and down, but not right.  It's discouraging.  I've been playing with it, learn how a BlackBerry works and finally get the hang of it.

  Is it something unusual or are they subject to rupture?  I don't want to go back, but I can't have a phone that breaks.

  It happens from time to time, but not as frequently as for being a major issue.

  You can search the forums, use the grey search button to find that while he doesn't

  occur, it is not a design flaw.

• BlackBerry Smartphones Software fails during synchronization with Outlook

  When I am syncing via USB my Storm with Outlook 2007 docking station, it fails when it reaches the timetable of the process part.  I use sync 2 channels on all of the components (tasks, contacts, calendar, etc.) and be successful, except when I accept a nomination of someone else in my Outlook calendar.  If I create an appointment in Outlook or on my BB, it syncs very well.  The only work around is send 1 channel from my computer to the Pocket PC and after that it's over, I turn it on to 2-way.  Of course, I could accidentally lose some entries and is certainly not a good workaround solution.

  I'm operating Desktop Software version 4.7 and my OS is Vista 64-bit.

  Read the tif.log file after completing the Task 4 then go to task 5 once that the calendar entry deleted.

  Y at - it something that I can blow into the area of the trackball because sometimes it sticks. In general, I have to move where I can to loosen upwards and which works after awhile. I heard that you can blow air with a can that be clean watches so I thought who could work with that?

  Well I ended up finding there is a setting somewhere in the "BOLD" to change the sensitivity of the trackball. So glad I found it today after months of frustration. I was looking for something else and found. Now, I don't remember where. Basically it upwards or decrease responsiveness if you want;

  I lost my phone.  Spare torch 9810 recover.  Before I had a media card I reinstalled BBY backup files, music and now want to spend as much, one or more applications and files to Media card.  Is the map for photos, music and videos?  Or can I selectively other things settle there?

  Also by clicking on name by name (Contacts) in the world I can select my list of contacts synced from laptop backup on card sim as a return upwards?  Thank you all... try to charge the phone better this time.

  The media card is reserved for 'media'... as you say. Photos, videos, music, files/documents.

  You do not want to move your contacts to your SIM card, because the SIM card is designed to contain only a single name/one number and no email address, nothing else. Instead, make a backup of your old device using the BlackBerry Desktop Software and then restore this backup on your new device, if you had done a previous backup.

  Do you have BlackBerry Protect installed on the old device? If Yes, when you sign in to your BlackBerryID for the new device, you can use your BlackBerry Protect data to restore on the new device.

  I love my 8830 and other browser limitations, have found very useful and enjoyable to use. However, in the last day or so, the ball started working very erratic. It moves but does not select items on the screen or sometimes even will not open a point when I clicked it. I got the 8830 since March 2008. • BlackBerry smartphone Trackball does not properly

  I bought my 8800 1 year, 2 months ago - ideally past the 1 year warranty.  My trackball works in all directions except for left which seems very strange.  It is impossible to call the RIM without them charge me something to talk with them and Cingular / AT & T says there is nothing they can do that the phone is no longer under warranty.  Any ideas?

  The same thing happened to me. My trackball moved to the top, left and right... but not down. Big problem! So I google "blackberry trackball" and found this link useful:

  I took mine such share as specified in the instructions and cleaned the "wheels" - and it works fine now. Hope this helps.

  The trackball on my new tour is not very sensitive.  I adjusted the horizontal and vertical sensitivity and I am still having no luck.  It's just a phone faulty or is - this one falls of this new phone?

• BlackBerry Smartphones SMS text to move old mobile Sony

  Just hoping someone can know the best way to do it - old Sony K800i mobile SMS SMS that have sentimental value - want to keep dates and times, etc.--and move to desktop PC.  Was told NOT to take them for BlackBerry because it can cause problems, and it is very good if I can get them just for PC.

  All the world is that where it was a success and was not a problem - or has another problem?  If so, can you suggest what tool / 3rd party software to use it.  Phone is the phone previous version doesn't have appropriate menu options to use with PC Suite, etc.?

  Thank you - I have the USB cable and found some 3rd party software that keeps the date and time stamps of the SMS and allowed me to move them in a text file to the computer.  It was pretty easy once I got the tool to do so.
