Despite terminate a mistakes very soon many other errors like this show up. I was not able to solve this problem for over 5 hours now and I can't operate anything. Some time my phone connect even if I try to call it. Other times I am able to meet and talk. Its like my phone is partially frozen for missed calls, emails and other icons are the same for the last 5 hours, but sometimes I am able to access some applications however, I'm completely unable to exploit one of my apps and even open other files like e-mail, call log, messages, etc.. I tried reset soft and hard but not completely succeeded.  Please help me as soon as possible.   You said "hard reset", but I can't tell if you did exaclty or not... Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  In addition, you could try to start in safe mode:

  and delete the most recent thing (s) you have installed just before this problem started.

  After that, it's an OS Reload try... but we're going to stay on it for the moment.

  Hello. Is there a way around this headache? I forgot my BBID IDs I needed to purchase an app. As indicated, I opened a session on the Web site on my PC and reset my login and my password. Online, I can sign with no problem however my laptop seems to expect the old username and passoword so I keep getting locked. The only option seems to be a security wipe. Is there really no other way to change data BBID on my mobile? I'm not willing to risk a wipe of security that the phone is still usable. The application providers will lose out however that I can not connect to make purchases! Please HELP someonne!

It will eventually catch up to you and you will need to perform the wipe.  BBID is used to BlackBerry Protect, BBWorld, BBM and more.   I bought my 8800 1 year, 2 months ago - ideally past the 1 year warranty.  My trackball works in all directions except for left which seems very strange.  It is impossible to call the RIM without them charge me something to talk with them and Cingular / AT & T says there is nothing they can do that the phone is no longer under warranty.  Any ideas?

  The same thing happened to me. My trackball moved to the top, left and right... but not down. Big problem! So I google "blackberry trackball" and found this link useful:

  I just upgraded my Storm to v.4.7.0.141 software and have noticed a really annoying problem with the locking function. Where previously, by pressing the lock at the top button to left of the phone would lock both the screen and four buttons and the bottom of the phone - I can now press the green call button, button disconnect red, "back" button and menu and they all unlock the phone allowing me access to the screen.

  Someone else has had this problem after this upgrade, and is there a solution to solve?

  I'm sorry my friend as a Windows user, we do not have this problem. However, I remember when I used a Mac (they are awesome... sigh...), I need any Windows application, I ran under VMware Fusion. Which allows me to fill my BlackBerry to the virtual machine with Windows and by extension, the BlackBerry Desktop software.
