  Hi, my blackberry 9360 is sometimes a really weird thing. Once a week, after that I used the device to check email, check facebook or even simply by removing the door in leather and put it right back it drains the battery at a very fast pace and hotter than usual. I'm not aware immediately, but when I use the unit 3 hours later for example the battery is almost all gone and the unit is warmer than usual. Please not that it is warmer, but at a level acceptable, just as if it had been used during this period of time, not overheating. I charge the unit and check the activity monitor application and the CPU was mainly used by the... Idle CPU. The part of the device that heats is not the battery, but the device itself. It is rather annoying because I don't know when it will happen again. The only email account, I have installed is a Hotmail account and it goes as well with wifi on and outside.   Are sure you you are in an area where you have a good network coverage signal strength or if falls frequently.

  While our BlackBerry devices can feel hot tell a long browsing session, play games, download countinous or all supported. If we hold the Menu for a few seconds, it will open a screen that will display all the programs running in the background, usually five will always be there (host, BBM, Message, phone, browser) you can always check if any other applications. run in the background.

  We should always try to close Applications correctly - avoid using key end to close the applications because it just minimizes the application and let it run in the background. Instead, press the Menu key, select close or Exit to exit the application. Don't let your browser open when not in use. If programs are running in the background, it will also allow overheating and also to quick battery drainage.   Looks like you have stuffed animals or "filth" in the housing of the trackball.  You can try to climb down hard on the trackball, then view with force.  Sometimes that loosen everything that is the cause of stick.

  I love my 8830 and other browser limitations, have found very useful and enjoyable to use. However, in the last day or so, the ball started working very erratic. It moves but does not select items on the screen or sometimes even will not open a point when I clicked it. I got the 8830 since March 2008. Since I use it for business and pleasure, he gets a lot of use. Is this common? Is there anything I can do myself to fix this situation? And if not, what should I do? I bought from Verizon. • BlackBerry smartphone Trackball does not properly

  I bought my 8800 1 year, 2 months ago - ideally past the 1 year warranty.  My trackball works in all directions except for left which seems very strange.  It is impossible to call the RIM without them charge me something to talk with them and Cingular / AT & T says there is nothing they can do that the phone is no longer under warranty.  Any ideas?

  The same thing happened to me. My trackball moved to the top, left and right... but not down. Big problem! So I google "blackberry trackball" and found this link useful:

  I took mine such share as specified in the instructions and cleaned the "wheels" - and it works fine now. Hope this helps.

  The trackball on my new tour is not very sensitive.  I adjusted the horizontal and vertical sensitivity and I am still having no luck.  It's just a phone faulty or is - this one falls of this new phone?

• BlackBerry smartphone Trackball is broken

  Today the trackball on my 8220 steadily to go to the right.  I go to a T-Mobile tomorrow store to swap out.  Physically, it moves to the right.  My fingers sliding on top but the ball doesn't move.  It works well to go left or up and down, but not right.  It's discouraging.  I've been playing with it, learn how a BlackBerry works and finally get the hang of it.

  Is it something unusual or are they subject to rupture?  I don't want to go back, but I can't have a phone that breaks.

  It happens from time to time, but not as frequently as for being a major issue.

  You can search the forums, use the grey search button to find that while he doesn't

  occur, it is not a design flaw.

• BlackBerry smartphone screen flashing sometimes - I would return it?

  To turn on my phone AT & T unlocked brand sv-100, purchased at flies every day it flickered back get darker and lighter all the time for the first hours of the couple. The changer of auto brightness was turned off. After he transferred my contacts and information of the unit previous he went, but I found myself with a black line on the notification bar top of page where the info of battery cells, wifi, etc. Since it's up, it wasn't a problem for me.   Basically what you are experiencing is not a normal behaviour of a private aircraft. This could be a problem with the LCD screen of the unit. Better would it be checked on the store that you bought it.

  The update of the Marshmallow, what I know is that the 6.0 update began with PRIVATE devices purchased directly from the BlackBerry store. You can call AT & T to check updates for your device.

  The track ball on my BB Curve 8330 Scrolls left and right, but not upwards or downwards, which really limits my use of it. I tried to take out the battery, clean the ball with alcohol, turning off and back on. The ball seems loose - not sticky. Would appreciate any help!

  I got my BB to the store where they replaced the trackball for $10, and he now works as it should. As my warranty has expired for a long time, I was happy with that. Panic at the wire.

  Just activated two days ago, no problem until this morning. Trackball is completely insensitive to the home screen. After pressing the menu button, it works fine on the biggest application menu.

  Clicking nor scrolling work.

  I bought my "BOLD" a few days ago. The first, receiver & sending SMS are OK. But soon the SMS transmission becomes a problem: it fails and the message is assigned an icon of the clock ("pending"). I can't return it. Then someone told me to "reboot" the device (update turned off, remove the battery and put it in again). It works, and I can send SMS "on hold". But it happens almost every day, while I have to restart the device almost every day, too.

  Then, yesterday, I tried to call someone. There was no answer. I tried to call my house, also unanswered. I restart the unit, and the problem has been resolved. to perform a call was OK. So far, it was the only time that I had a hard time making a call.

  There is no problem with incoming SMS and incoming calls. I have not yet activated my Blackberry Internet Service.

  Could someone help me if there is a way to fix the SMS problem once and for all? Thanks for your advice. Hudoyo
