BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry 8700 / Outlook 2000

I recently downloaded the latest desktop software and Blackberry device (on the site of Tmobile upgrade).  The desktop software version is v4.2.1.107.  The day before, I had problems with Outlook 2000 and had to remove / reinstall the program.  When I tried to sync my office on my device, I received the Intellisync dialog box that says "no applications configured for synchronization.  So, I tried to configure synchronization, when I clicked on setup, the only 2 options are Outlook Express and importing ASCII / and NONE.  I use Outlook, how to activate the device see Outlook or conversely, add it to the list of distraction?

Thank you

The Office Manager has ceased to be compatible with Outlook 2000 from Desktop Manager 4.3. The last version that supports Outlook 2000 is version 4.2 Service Pack 2. If they have that on the website of tmobile, download them and install that and you'll be fine. If not you can download it here: https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22

  • Problems of Smartphones blackBerry using Desktop Manager with Outlook 2000

Hi all, first time poster here and I'm pretty much at my wits end so I hope that you register here and asking experts will help me solve my problem!

I took possession of a BB Storm 9500 and fight to synchronize a folder of personal contacts within my work email client - Outlook 2000 SP3.  We use MS Exchange, but it is a very old version (5.5 (I think) and will be updated soon.  However, I want to synchronize my contacts folder using the BB Desktop Manager software and I have problems.

DM BB software does not recognize Outlook as a possible source for the calendar - lists that Outlook Express, Yahoo and ASCII Converter.  So I select the ASCII Converter after you export the PST calendar folder in a CSV (BACK), but when I open the field mapping option in the desktop software manager, the 'Email' field is not visible as a mapped field.  I can transfer just about everything (once I changed the listed fields exported from Outlook to match what awaits the Storm/DM software) but I can't for the life of me find where the Email data field is mapped to-he's just not here!

I tried to do a complete uninstall of the DM Software (cleaned up the registry, etc, etc) and reinstalled but still the same problem - does not recognize the existence of Outlook or the Email field.

According to the BB, it's loaded with v4.7.0.78 (Platform 4.0.0.98).

Is it possible to do what I want it to do?  Support muchly appreciated!

    Andy

Outlook 2000 is not supported by Desktop Manager version 4.3, 4.5, 4.6, 4.7 or.

It is supported in the Desktop Manager 4.2 Service Pack 2 version.

You'll either have to update your Outlook, or downgrade your DM.

  • Smartphones blackBerry sync Blackberry "BOLD" with Outlook 2000

I just bought a blackberry "BOLD" and I went to sync it with my computer at work, that has Outlook 2000 on him.  I installed the synchronization software and when I went to install my synchronization properties not showed Outlook as an option.  ATT, I called and they told me that the Desktop Software 4.6 doesn't support outlook 2000, but the blackberry "BOLD" does not support a different version of the desktop software.  So I'm stuck between the hammer and the anvil.  Is there a way around this (other than the obvious improvement my Outlook) known. Or are there other programs on IE companion link or something like that let you synchronize my blackberry to work. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thank you

    Phillips

I finally got my phone synced with my Outlook 2000 to work.  However, you must use the 3rd party app Companion Link.  In addition, it must be the most up-to-date version (V3). Link companion works with Desktop Manager to synchronize with the configuration of the office for a 'add-in' program manager, then I put everything in place through related link, including programs that I would use.  If anyone has found a way to sync without the help of a third party app please let me know.

    Thank you

  • BlackBerry Smartphones "BOLD" do not sync with Outlook 2000

    Outlook 2000

Desktop Manager 4.6 without the media manager,

The DM is not Outlook 2000 as an application to synchronize with.  I had a curve over the last 2 years, with what version of DM that he came with that I was able to sync with Outlook 2000.  Here's what I discovered and someone please tell me where I'm wrong so that I can sync my new "BOLD" with outlook 2000.

New versions of DM don't see Outlook 2000.

Older versions of DM see outlook 2000, but they do not see the "BOLD".

If I can get just the drivers without Desktop software manager, I think I can make it work with an older version.

I hope I explained the problem.

    Thank you

It would help my contacts but not the calendar and tasks.

I have updated to Outlook 2003 and that solved my problem.

  • Office of all blackBerry Smartphones software not recognize Outlook 2000

I am running Windows 2000 and Outlook 2000 (SP3) platform.

    I have a BB Storm.

I installed Desktop version 4.7. (Failed to install a newer version on Windows 2000.)

Installation went well. The software recognized the storm. When I go to sync, and click on the box in front of calendar (or one of the choices), the only 3 choices I see are:

    None

    ASCII Impoter/exporter

    Yahoo

I have read every word of each manual and cannot find something that will help me get Outlook on this list. According to the help section, Outlook is supported, but it does not appear.

Any suggestions on how to get prospects on the list?

    Thank you.

Fabulous! 4.7 removed, installed 4.2.2 and life is good.

  • Smartphones blackBerry Desktop Mgr. 4.5 not recognizing Outlook 2000

My MS Office Office is version 2000 and current patches.

My RIM Desktop Manager 4.5.0.15 doesn't recognize Outlook 2000.  When I try to configure my desktop program sync settings it just offers inport/export ASCII and does not recognize Outlook.

What's new: I was syncing with Outlook 2000 with my curve since late July 2007.

    What should I do?

SOLUTION: I uninstalled Deaktop Manager 4.5 and replaced by 4.2.2.14, and now everything works.  I guess I'll have to upgrade to a newer version of Outlook, but I'll keep this possibility (and expenses) at a later date.

I want to use a professional email with Blackberry Enterprise Server account

I want to skip the email configuration

What should I do? Do I need a BIS account, provider of services?

    Any help appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the community!

To use the exclusive services of BB (including the ability to Push email, BBM, etc), you must have an adequate data of your carrier plan. Carriers BIS (BlackBerry Internet Service) host for their BB users. In general, BIS is not available through generic data plans. Several ships make stop what is needed the Blackberry data plan. Whatever they call it, it is the carrier that delivers BIS users of BB - contact - the for assistance. Once you have a compatible BIS data plan on your BB (fees regardless of your carrier will charge, btw), your exclusive services BB will work (for example, you will have a staff/Internet Email added to the email Setup Wizard, your BBM will work, etc.).

With hundreds of carriers in the world, each with dozens of different data plans it is impossible to say that any plan service could actually expressly provide for. Only carriers can answer this question. The best thing to do is to decide what services you want and then talk to your carrier about obtaining a data plan that allows what you want (to them).

    Good luck!

  • Smartphone BlackBerry 8700 c Device Manager and does not AT ALL

So, I recently got a Blackberry 8700 c and for some reason, the Device Manager does not work. As my computer will make a dadunk noise when I connect my Blackberry via USB cable, but it doesn't register that my blackberry is connected. I can not go on my computer and actually click on my blackberry.

I have windows vista and the software Manager for the device that I use is that I received in the box. 4.1

I'm also using AT & T please help.

All I want to do is to be able to connect to my computer and download themes and all I want the phone. But it does not work

Jsanders thanks for your help, but I managed to understand! I got the Desktop Manager 4.1 version so I downloaded and installed to 4.7. That fixed my connection problem. And while I was home I decided to take the update of the software 4.5 versio and which is installed on the phone right now. I backed up all of my information and everything.

I took risks and went with my instinct. And I fooled with driver vista settings. So far, everything is smooth.

I used to mod motorola phones so I had sort of an idea of what to do initially. But the Blackberry intimidates me so. Haha!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry 8700 c not get internet

    Hello

I hope someone here can help me.  I have a blackberry 8700 c that I bought at cingular/ATT now, a couple of years and 3 days ago, I lost internet coverage.  I spoke with technicians ATT & finally got referred to as BB technicians & nobody could solve my problem.  I have made at least 10 battery tire & did a hard reset, wiping clean all & starting over.  Nothing has worked.  My phone works, but does not sound & light is sporadic, jump for several hours & then back on.  I have been sent new books/registration to the service several times & ATT even took me off their program & restored me.  All to nothing does not.  Here is the message I get:

    With the ATT Navigator:

Last update: finally got my internet back, but not thanks to support from AT & T.  Apparently, it was the deep, dark secrets while adding a new Tower & once they got that up & go that my internet is back.  Why they just could not have told me the truth & saved me all the stress of thinking my phone crashed is beyond me!

Many thanks to everyone who gave me advice.

  • BlackBerry Torch Smartphone OS7 and Outlook 2010

Thinking to buy a BB Torch 9860, but with the previous difficulties, that I got with my Curve 9300 and Outlook 2010 sync via bluetooth, I want to just make sure that the torch will be synchronized wihout too heavy.  Someone help... Please?

Sync with BlackBerry and outlook is the same as before. If you want to sync you BB and outlook, you must have BlackBerry desktop manager and make sure that you have bypass wireless and connectivity of office services in your Bluetooth service. (Bluetooth > menu > Options > under the gaze of service for these services.)

  • BlackBerry smartphone synchronization with Outlook

Probably a stupid question, but I got a "BOLD" and am using Desktop software V5.

When I sysnc the Blackberry with Outlook upward, I want only the Balckberry to remove the calendar items that are over a year old, but what I won't do, it's enteries in Outlook are removed,

Is it possible and if yes what should I do, it is important for me that there is still some enteries in Outlook.

    Thank you

Do not delete them from outlook just the camera

In outlook, you can always create a copy of your schedule for a backup.

    Right click and choose copy.

or make a backup of your calendar in a PST file.

  • BlackBerry smartphones transfer mail from blackberry to outlook - exchange problem

    Hello

We have a probelem yesterday with our Exchange, some may have been delete in Outlook, but there are still on the blackberry, I watch the desktop software but I don't see anything.

I wish I could move the email from the blackberry to Outlook

is there an easy way to do this?

A couple of VP are waiting for me

    Thanks for your help!

Hmmm... so, you have already successfully migrated messages to a non - BES BB. Ok. So that is totally disconnected as well Exchange Outlook? I wish I could test this for you... I thought there was a way to make the BB 1-way synchronization to Outlook. But, even once, I him didn't so that's all the theory right now... your work will prove it or not.

Hmmm... Maybe the synchronization isn't the best way. The file IPD that you used to migrate data from the real BB to this non - BES BB... this file is not natively readable by anything other than the desktop software from RIM (to be used for the restoration). But, I have heard (but never used) 3rd party applications that can analyze the file and extract information. Maybe you can get those? The only one I remember is ABC Amber Converter (or something like that)... but I don't know if it is available. You might find something (probably not free) who might get what you need from the IPD file however.

    Good luck!
