OfficeJet 4650: Impossible to scan with my new OfficeJet 4650

I can print with my new OfficeJet 4650 but the scan function does not work.  I tried using my Windows 7 computer and my windows 10 2-in-1 nothing.  When I start printing and scanning doctor I am getting 2 different error messages:

Windows 7: "Device Manager is an error that requires a restart of the computer."  I restart and rerun the utility but the same error message appears.

10: "HP Twain Scan Windows error" - I unplugged the printer, waited 60 seconds, plugged back in and turned on.  Then I restarted my computer and represented the utility and received the same error message.

Can someone help me with one of these errors?

You can tr to uninstall and reinstall the software COMPLETE features, follow these steps:

1 uninstall the software from your computer
2. download and save the software COMPLETE features (do not install online)

The following resources will help you:

HP printer install wizard for Windows
http://ftp.HP.com/pub/softlib/software13/COL50403/MP-150580-2/hppiw.exe

3. install the FULL feature software "saved".

Once you have downloaded and installed the software, FULL of features, you will be able to print and scan.

    All in one, type printers (print, copy, scan) usually have a very specific set of instructions during the installation.  If not followed exactly the probability is that the scanner will not work.

  • Cannot scan with the new printer HP Envy 5660 using Mac running iOS 10.10 Yosemite

    You just bought a new HP Envy of 5660.  Has been guaranteed by the sales staff, it was totally compatible with Mac Yosemite.  It is not the case.  The CD supplied with the printer software is not functional with Yosemite.

    I did research online and you have the printer to print wireless, printing from my iPhone and copy.  Not sure how I did TI-trial and error and 2 hours of time!

    I can't scan.  HP Web site says that their software must be installed, etc, etc, and then use the HP utility function.   Can't do because the CD is not compatible.

    Any suggestions?  I don't want really worries the printer back to Amazon.  I called HP and they said I can't talk to their Tech Department., but that's all.  Appreciate any help.  I'm not a true geek.

  • How to scan with my new DELL Inspiron 560 with Windows 7?

    My new DELL Inspiron 560 with Windows 7 (64 bit) works very well with my all-in-one HP C7280 printer except the scan function.  I tried and tried to get the correct driver, but all I get is "no scanners are detected."  Any suggestions?  I would appreciate your help!  Thank you very much!

    If this doesn't fix the problem there is a HP Scan utility of diagnosis that can help and it is available for download on the same link as above.

    Try to analyze with 6700. Error analysis of messages cannot take place because of no communication.

    Fine prints.

    Using of Windows 7, 64-bit, no printing problem other than occasional abandonment commection (wired or wireless).

    To the point received a message saying that I had to be an administrator, but has been unable to locate where to connect.

    I understand that you do not see an option to scan in pdf format, even if you have installed the full features software. You see only jpg and tif.  Here are two links that I think can help.   • I can't scan with my new printer Canon MP 560 mutli.

    I have a Canon Pixma MP560 printer. I use it via my home wireless hub. It prints well all computers in my house. However, I can't the scanner to work. Sometimes just with a message that says:

    Cannot communicate with scanner for these reasons:

    -scanner is turned off

    -scanner is disconnected (disconnected from the local network, if you use on LAN)

    Code 5,145,55.

    I called Canon who tell me that it is a problem of microsoft. I tried to uninstall & re - install the software, I tried to use a USB cable and also the site of "MSN" problem file such as listed by others on the forum, but none of them work. I love the printer but ot know what else to do? I'm not a computer expert, just a self taught "plodder".

    You don't have that software installed, but consider the issue may be caused by a third-party software firewall, etc..

    I have a HP Photosmart D110 series printer and it is connected to my newer computer operating systems Windows 7.  Since I bought this new computer, I have not been able to use the function scanner of the printer.  I can still use it on my old system that has Windows XP.  Any help on how to solve the problem is appreciated.

  • Since Windows 10 on Dell Studio One, impossible to scan with Pixma MG3100

    Since the installation of 10 window on a Dell Studio One, I was unable to analyze with a Pixma MG3100. I tried to install mp68-victory-mg3100-1_02-ea24, but only the driver of Canon IJ function tool made.  Although the Canon IJ Network Scanner selector EX appears in "Programs and features", it does not show an icon on the desktop.  Turn off the Avast firewall did not help to install.

    An older Dell desktop computer and a PC even older Toshiba laptop using the same printer, but have not had this problem after moving to Windows 10.  (Apparently Dell has nothing to do the Studio One ready for Windows 10.).

    I have somehow missed the essential.  I had to only add the Solution Menu ex and MP Navigator EX 5.0 strangely, I couldn't find the first site of Canon in Thailand and the second in Singapore.

    Can't see how to copy podcasts on my Ipod classic frofm Itunes version 12.3.1.23. Podcasts in Itunes are grayed out. I don't want to use the sync option and lose the podcasts that are already on my Ipod.

    You may be able to manually drag podcasts to the device if the music section is already ready for manual management. Others see recover your iTunes from your iPod or an iOS device. Probably best to retrieve all content anyway. Your iPod could be lost, stolen, damaged, or in need of restoration.

  • printer scan works only with the new windows 7

    upgrade windows xp to windows 7 with the new HP Omni 220PC. Have a printer HP C309g-m. To scan from the printer to the computer xp, I had to use the HP Solution Center. The printer works very well with the new windows 7 program and new computer. I install wireless. No problems with it. Today when I went to scan a document with the HP Solution Center (I thought I had to use as before), this message came.

    "HP Solution Center cannot work because your device installation is not complete. Please connect the usb cable, or rerun the installation for a network installation cd. If it does not complete the installation, or you do not have the cd, access the HP help files by clicking on the start menu. "Everything I did. My installation CD said I had a version of the latest update on the installation CD, it was of no use. I went to the HP site and find a download for the drivers updated etc. I downloaded and installed. (although I don't know whether or not it was a duplicate of the drivers of devices on windows 7 for this.) I checked Add/Remove programs to make sure that the printer and the hp solultion Center have been added to the programs. they are listed. I can always scan with

    the hp Solution Center. Should I not this program to scan with this new pc? How can I scan from my printer now? I even tried to click scan on the printer, then scan to computer. the message I got was 'Try from scan of compurer. Refer to the documentation for more details ".  To be sure, I'm all mixed up now. All I want is for my scan printer to work with my new pc.  Everything works well except that scan thing, may help me understand what to do?:  Thank you

    all fixed. has crossed my computer to start then click HP click HP and open list. Went to my printer-clicked on my printer and clicked on the icon list to see if it worked correctly. This is a problem with the drivers and a box popped up with directions on where and how to download and install the devices for windows 7.
    Done this and tested it and everything works fine now. (Ihad already tried the HP site for support and downloaded and installed the fix suggested for the problem, but it did not work). in any case, its fixed and I hope that if someone has a problem, this information will help you.

  • Cannot scan with my canon mf4350d

    Impossible to scan with my canon mf4350d, I have updated the drivers from Canon, but still can not sweep.  Printing is not a problem.  I contacted Canon, try all their steps, they blame windows 8

    This simple fix I found online worked for me:

    Start > in the Run dialog box type. Services.msc

    Scroll down to Windows Image Acquisition (WIA)

    Right click, select Properties

    Verify that the startup type is set to automatic

    Click the journal tab of

    Make sure that Local System account and allow service to interact with desktop is activated. Hit apply.

    Click on recovery... Click on the window next to the first failure, scroll to restart the Service. Hit apply.

    As a MF Toolbox work and stay working even after a reboot. Only problem is Windows Fax Scan no longer works, but I can't use MF Toolbox.

  • OfficeJet Pro 8630: impossible to scan

    I get the following error message when you try to scan a photo to my computer:

    The HP scanning application does not contain a shortcut corresponding to your selection.  Please uninstall and reinstall the S/W provided with your product.

    I did a full download and install from the software download page and drivers and still get this error.   It's not like I've not scanned before.  So what's happening?  My daughter needs this analysis for a school project.

    Thanks for getting back to me. This error occurs when you try to update the software of the printer with a newer version of the software before you remove the existing software.

    Here is the document of support for this error - ' Installation error 2081883401: failed to uninstall the device with serial number:..' Error Message on the computer. The latest operating system, it lists in Windows 8, but the steps in Windows 8 should be the same as Windows 10. Try this and then retry the HP printer install wizard .
