Hi riosbb1,

Please perform hard reset by pulling your battery while turned on your BlackBerry and back again in a few seconds. Thank you.

Good luck!

HI - try the following steps:

Check that Bluetooth and Wi - Fi are activated on your iPhone:

-Phone: Settings > Bluetooth - on.

-Phone: Settings > Wi - Fi - on.

Check that your iPhone and Apple Watch are connected:

-When you show the time on your watch, drag upward on your watch dial > drag left / right for the look of settings > check it shows connected and shows a green phone icon (disable airplane Mode if it is enabled).

Close open applications on your iPhone: press the Home button twice, and then drag upward on each Preview app to close the application.

Restart your iPhone and your watch. Turn on both devices off the power together first, and then restart your iPhone before restarting your watch:

    -To switch off your watch: press and hold the button side until you see the cursor off the power; slide it to turn off;

-To switch on: press and hold the side button until you see the Apple logo.

  • Problems running installed app

My application works well in the simulator when Flash Builder debugging.  I packed my files successfully into a .bar, I even went through the stages of my application without problem signature.  I want to just make sure that everything is fine until I submit my app - so I installed the file .bar on simular to using the command deploy blackberry and that works as well.

But when I run the application installed... it begins to run, moves to the bottom right of the screen and close the app, leaving an imprint on the bottom.  Here is a screenshot of what remains.

    http://kalengibbons.com/assets/images/PlayBook-screenshot.jpg

I don't know what to do because the application works well for debugging.  Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for your reply Peter9477.  I understood the question and I think it had to do something with how I created my .bar file and I was referencing the paths.  I put all my kernel files in the bin folder of blackberry so I could run the commands without paths and that seems to fix the problem.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Verizon installed Apps

Hello the BlackBerry family community .  My question for tonight is; a Verizon installed app, such as VZWTones and V Cast apps, can we correctly uninstall, so it is no longer an app or an icon? I can't find a way to uninstall them. I didn't really need them.

Also, is there a way to look for questions in the postings, so that no duplicate questions may have already been asked?

Cathlabnurse, thank you and I love your sense of humor: smileyvery-happy:

Also, I have the storm - return to the menu button of your BlackBerry and make sure that your SHOW ALL button is not highlighted.

  • Install app on 8520 blackBerry smartphones

    Hi all,

today I buy the BB Curve 8520, but without a BES or BIS. Can I install app on it? Someone told me that I can not install app because I do not have a BES to BIS. Thank you

With BIS or BES, you cannot use AppWorld. It does not require the BlackBerry data Plan.

But other sites of the seller, as mobihand.com, allow installation of desktop (PC) of the software. Check it out.

  • BlackBerry smartphone Curve 9360 sometimes warms us up a little bit and the battery is discharged

Hi, my blackberry 9360 is sometimes a really weird thing. Once a week, after that I used the device to check email, check facebook or even simply by removing the door in leather and put it right back it drains the battery at a very fast pace and hotter than usual. I'm not aware immediately, but when I use the unit 3 hours later for example the battery is almost all gone and the unit is warmer than usual. Please not that it is warmer, but at a level acceptable, just as if it had been used during this period of time, not overheating. I charge the unit and check the activity monitor application and the CPU was mainly used by the... Idle CPU. The part of the device that heats is not the battery, but the device itself. It is rather annoying because I don't know when it will happen again. The only email account, I have installed is a Hotmail account and it goes as well with wifi on and outside. Someone has an idea it might be? Thank you in advace for help. Best regards, Alexander

While our BlackBerry devices can feel hot tell a long browsing session, play games, download countinous or all supported. If we hold the Menu for a few seconds, it will open a screen that will display all the programs running in the background, usually five will always be there (host, BBM, Message, phone, browser) you can always check if any other applications. run in the background.

We should always try to close Applications correctly - avoid using key end to close the applications because it just minimizes the application and let it run in the background. Instead, press the Menu key, select close or Exit to exit the application. Don't let your browser open when not in use. If programs are running in the background, it will also allow overheating and also to quick battery drainage. Question

I bought this unit on 29 February. A few days later, I noticed the battery was going from 100% to 0% in a few hours, so I went in the first week to change the battery and did this and he used to work fine until a few days where the battery goes from 100% to 0% in less than an hour ago. I do use the browser and twitter a lot, but I still think that the battery must remain more than that.

    Any ideas?

  • My blackberry 9360 blackBerry smartphones unlock

Will not unlock my blackberry 9360. The number keys work but not the keys to the letter. Its old day! Help, please!

    Hello sannas

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

To unlock your device from a device password, you have already defined, you must enter the password you have already defined. If you experience a problem then first perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your unit is powered. wait for a min. then reinsert back.

After the reboot, you should try to enter the password. If you have a mix of different characters in your password, and you are not able to enter properly on the keyboard for BlackBerry. For example, if your password

    • sannas123
    • And if you enter s > a > n > n > a > s > alt > 1 > 2 > 3
    • the result will be
    • sannas1er
    • You must enter
    • s > a > n > n > a > s > alt > 1 > alt > 2 > alt > 3
    • to get sannas123 on your device.

For example, while on the BlackBerry keyboard, you think you type sannas123, you actually type sannas1er. Please type it again carefully, I hope that you will be able to enter your device. Or else if you can't then your device itself will wipe away for security reasons.

  • BlackBerry smartphone Bold 9900 - loop: accepting BB App World membership additive

I just got my new 9900 which has installed App World, but when I try to goto My World, 'BLACKBERRY APP WORLD MEMBERSHIP ADDENDA' terms and conditions agreement happens. I scroll and click "I accept", then a "Please wait" message appears for a few seconds and return to the main screen of App World. When I try again goto My World, it brings back me to the terms and conditions page.

I tried to find an app to download, click Download, but he brought to the top of the page terms and conditions the same, when I clicked on I accept there is still nothing.

Help, please! I love this phone, but it is almost useless to me without my apps.

Just found the solution, follow the instructions here and be prepared to connect your BB to your model:

    Hello

I guess your question has to do with the AppWorld.

    whybb wrote:

You can not. AppWorld is designed to synchronize with the servers of AW. AW servers are designed to hold forever rendering of each app that purchase you through AW. Even if you clear the cache on the device, UN-installed apps will reappear the next time that you connect to MyWorld. It's just the way it works.

    whybb wrote:

No, they do not. Well, maybe a small amount just for the camera on record, but it is certainly not enough to worry. For an exact amount, you need to talk to developers AW (and no, there is no channel here in them).

    Good luck!

  • install app world 2.1.0.39 on simulator problem

Hi, I'm playing with the app in payment system but having problem installing app world version 2.1 + on the Simulator.

What is the correct procedure to present an update to the Simulator? For the moment, I'm just the download and installation of the update the same to me on the real device.

    Please help me! Thank you!

Found the solution! Just in case someone else wondered in the future, all you need to do is goto inside your browser Simulator blackberry.com/appworld/download, then install it normally but don't restart. He will remain in the Simulator until you run clean.bat
