How can I turn off my blackberry ID account?

Disable? Hmmm... I'm not sure that there is a way to do it. Just stop using it. The system is secure, if only someone with credentials can use it.

If you want to completely uninstall, then find the original 'welcome' email you received when you created. In this email there is a link to destroy your BB ID use it.

    You must activate the BlackBerry data Plan / BIS on your account, it will allow you to add your BlackBerry ID on your phone and allow you to use all BlackBerry services via your Mobile network. Please call your operator or mobile service provider they can add it to your account.

  • BBM cannot connect to your BlackBerry ID account

    My apologies if this situation is dealt with elsewhere, I have done some simple research and could not find a solution.

    I have a BB 9790 (os: 7.1.0 Bundle 2039) sim-free on O2 to the United Kingdom.

    I made the mistake of updating BBM on 27 Nov (I can't tell you the new version because I can't access it).

    When I tried to access BBM, I was told that I had to updated BlackBerry ID, I did.

    I can connect is BlackBerry ID via BBM, BlackBerry World or Options/device/BlackBerry ID.

    I enter my email address and password, and (finally) arrive:

    Unable to connect to your BlackBerry ID account

    I've traveled (on PC) at blackberryid.blackberry.com/bbid/home

    and managed to log in fine. I have confirmed my BlackBerry ID via an email confirmation without problem.

    BlackBerry ID reflects my new 'security question '.

    I rebooted (battery outgoing/incoming) and which did not help.

    It is excellent that BBM works now on IOS and Android, how about you now run on BlackBerry?

    Thanks for your help and advice, I am now in place and running with BlackBerry ID connected.

    Yesterday, I contacted O2 support and they talked me through re-registration my BB with the O2 network.

    This is me did not help with connection BlackBerry ID but actually disabled my e-mail account on the BB.

    Now, with little or coward, I made a new backup of the BB and made security wipe (if it did not help I was)

    intend to return to my sleep bb 8900).

    But it worked, connected to the BlackBerry ID on my first attempt. BBM and email re-setup

    and backup restored on my phone.

    As I do not know exactly what was wrong with my BB in the first place I could not 100% recommend

    Security wipe as the solution for everyone, but it worked for me.

    I had to change my password] yahoo.ca which meant I had to revalidate my password on my blackberry.  However, I can not, I get an error message saying my email or my password is invalid, and if it continues to communicate with yahoo.

    What will make that as my email and the password are correct that I can access my account on my computer but not on my phone and I need because it's a business e-mail address.

    What can I do to be able to access my yahoo messages on my phone?

    Recently, I replaced my bold 9700.  I want to me re - login my gmail account and when I go to configuration > e-mail accounts and tap / click on email account, it does nothing. I've used this feature to add/modify items of electronic mail. This allows me to click on the account of the company, but when I click on email account, nothing happens.

    Have rebooted device a couple of times and get the same problem. Any ideas?

    After the updates, or simply when things go crazy with e-mail, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... ( Please wait for this before moving on to the next step) :

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

    I got a new 8900 I bought 12/31/09 I tried Bluetooth reactive were the Dungeon of legacy ask password to connect to my laptop. I tried up to the last chance, but he wipid all my data and restar again.

    When I try to access the account of black berries to set-up my e mail I couldn't remamber the user and the password.

    So is it possible to get access to this account?

    If I understand you correctly, you need to know your credentials of BIS (Blackberry Internet Service) (username / password). This account is controlled by your carrier - you will need to contact for assistance.

    Have you made this sequence?

    Check the setting are correct in Google.

    Remove the account from Google to the BB.

    Re-create the account Gmail BIS., and then disconnect.

    On the BB go to options advanced options, host Routing Tables, click to enter. DO NOT CLICK on any list.
    Press the menu key and select sign up now.
    You will get a registration message. Then go to email settings and send service directories.
    Some models like the Curve 8330 and Pearl require connecting carriers BIS site
    via a PC.
    You will receive a verification email to your gmail account.

    Check the operation of the device and Gmail.

    To connect to your e-mail configuration application, you have the same login information that you would use to connect to the website of your provider wireless BlackBerry Internet Service from a computer. Since you are using BlackBerry Device Software 6.0, it is separated from your BlackBerry ID. If you do not know your account details, I suggest to contact your service provider for this information again.

    and see if you can adjust your email from there.

    If this does not work, verify that you can access gmail on a computer using the same login / password.
