BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry identity update

I searched the archives for more than an hour and couldn't find anything on this problem...

Since I installed Blackberry App World 3.0, whenever I go to BAW it tells me I have to install a Blackberry identity update, if I say 'no' he throws me and I say 'yes', it takes about 20 minutes, with a full reboot... and then I'll come back an hour later and it me instlal once again...

I am better I installed it at least 50 to 60 times and it's not bad, it STILL requires that I re - install again whenever I click on Blackberry App World.   It would be one thing if this installation was fast, but it's not, it requires a complete reboot and rakes anywhere from 10 to 20 minutes.

What is the problem and how to fix it?

Well, I finally understood the problem... when I connect the phone to the Blackberry Desktop Manager and use the Application Loader, it re - install Blackberry OS software, roll back to an earlier version, which requires a reinstallation of the recent Blackberry identity update.

So, the solution is not to use Blackberry Desktop Manager.  Solved!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones BLACKBERRY IDENTITY REGISTRATION FAILED

Hi, so I'm having the same problem as quite a few people (I've been Googling solutions). I've updated my BB software yesterday and I also updated App World too so I don't know which is the origin of the problem:

Whenever I go on App World, they tell me to update my identity as a blackberry and when I press Yes, it downloads all the way to the end, then displays the message: "failed to install of BlackBerry identity. Please try again later. "There is no error code. I have tried for 2 days to 'try later' obviously does not work. I tried the same thing with my wifi off and I also tried with my mobile network disabled. Since the BB site, I found information on the activation of the APN settings. It did not work. I also tried to "Enable insecure renegotiation", but checked anyway

I am wary to try the suggestion on deleting app world and put it back, over the internet, it is because that whenever I try to download an application on the browser (when the download white screen comes up) it does not work either (I tried to download whatsapp and an app alarm) but it says "Download failed" and under details , he says «909 application authentication failure» I had the feeling that this has to do with my App World does not.

It's extremely frustrating because I can't download anything and I also restarted my phone several times. Any help would be appreciated thanks in advance!

I solved the problem of "update blackberry identity" by plugging my phone on my computer and reinstall the same software on it again. Then, the update of identity blackberry worked well and I was able to use app world new

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Can I update my OS?

I have a Tour 9630, which I just bought through ebay from a US reseller. Its an unused, Verizon unlocked phone with 4.7.1.40 version. Rogers is my ISP. Anyone know of any reason why I shouldn't be able to upgrade the software? Says Blackberry Desktop updates are available, but the U.S. dealer said I should check with Blackberry first before the upgrade.

Rogers probably lacked the last official update for it. Please click the link below to update.

Have you tried to update via web download from Verizon or blackberry site?  I did like that even before the notification of upgrade on the storm or even before installing office.  You plug the device to your PC with the USB cable and try this:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Blackberry "BOLD" updated

Hello, I bought my first blackberry a few weeks back and so far I'm in love. How ever I have one question that I havn't found another answer anywere so I registered to post on this.

I synchronize my "BOLD" between 2 computers both running Desktop manager 4.7 but they say that the bold is software update required before each synchronization. Danish range of Blackberry messenger update same suggestions. Also both pc suggest different upgrades. At first I ignored it, but then I thought that I click on update, but when I did, he went through the entire course of the upgrade and at the end, said that the "BOLD" had not enough memory for the update

I checked the two "BOLD" memory and SD card for memory card and it said:

Aplication free 18.7 MB of space

The device 857 MB free memory

Map of free memory 1.2 GB of free space

Any ideas? I'm doing something wrong?

    Thank you

No, you don't do anything wrong.

Look at the Options > about, third line down, starting with a 'v.4.xxx '.

  • The Z10 blackBerry OS update

    Hello!
I have BB z10 stl100-1 and I had never updated my device with an official firmware. I had the version 10.2.0 * and I tried to update phone, then I tried to update to link to BB, but it says I have the latest version, but I know that's not everytime. Why BB does not officially updated the device? Its a long time since BB 10.2.1 released.

Why I can't install just the os developer or leak? Why it does not download the full official OS on the site?  I bought this phone and thought that it will be official support, but it sucks, no official update.

Official update releases are completely at your operator, not BlackBerry. Your carrier Gets the update, then proceeds to test and evaluate it for sometimes weeks or months before you release it to you. The fact that you have not 10.2.1 surprises me because I thought he was out just about everyone now.

A couple of things to try: remove your SIM card and disable the location Services on your phone and then plug it into your computer and go to the www.blackberry.com/update of your browser. Could provide an update. If it doesn't, try looking in these forums under "BONES of 10 BlackBerry Device Software" for instructions on upgrading your operating system.

Keep us updated on your progress.

  • BlackBerry software update 10 10.3.1.1779

Hello. I use a Q5 and recently received a notification of a software update required 10.3.1.1779. The download process and the installation went well. The problem is when my unit wants to restart. It restarts every time, it stops immediately and restart again. It would happen a few times until the screen BLUE before stopping with the red LED flashes.

    These are things I've done:
    1. charge my camera
    2. hold the power button
3 press and hold both volume buttons
4 connect my device BlackBerry link and reload my camera

Only the figure 4 turn on the device. However I did it for about 5 times since the software would automatically update and ask for a reboot. It worked fine when the update has not been installed.

Yesterday, I tried again and got my solution.
    Solution:

1 install update on phone (do not restart yet)
    2. connect the phone to the pc
    3. install the blackberry link update
4 reboot the phone when it is connected to the pc

After that my phone worked normally again

  • BlackBerry Smartphones 80003 blackberry identity necessary update error

Hi since I've upgraded to the new blackberry app world, I can not, he always tells me that I need an identity, n send me say error "failed installing identity. Please try again later (80003) ', I tried for a few months now, what can I do? The previous request world worked perfectly well,

If you get the error 80003, there are three corrections suggested to the user:

    1. follow these instructions:
First delete AppWorld on your Blackberry OS 5 device, (Options > advanced > Applications) or the OS 6/7 devices (Options > device > Applications)
Then copy the entire address below and paste it into your BlackBerry browser or click on it from this page of your BlackBerry forum.

    or:
    For OS7 devices: http://www.bbh-plus.net/downloads.php?do=file&id=2196

    2. make sure that you connect to AppWorld on a WiFi connection. It has worked for some.

    3. on Os5 BlackBerrys, go to Options, Advanced Options, TCP/IP. Select the AFN which is the first area. Under this
Next type Internet APN. Save it and it will work.
On the BlackBerry OS6 and 7, go to Options > device, down advanced system settings. Go to TCP IP. Select the first box and next to the AFN of type 'Internet '. -A message appears: "To continue to use Blackberry App World, you must upgrade your current version."

    - Then I download the update.

Whenever the 99% achieved download bar, suddenly a message appears "907 invalid COD".

I can't even delete my BB AppWorld. There is no option "Delete" in "Application Management" or "Modules".

In this case, it is advisable to upgrade the version of your operating system to the v6.0.0.756

Search and download your OS and everything above applies

    By sdgardne

    However, here's what I propose...

The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find complete instructions via the link in my sig auto below. (It's probably debatable given the errors you have... it is likely that your data are already parts of your device, which means that you must now rely on a backup you took before that happened.)

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

You can also study the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe what he is capable.

You can also try the "skeleton OS Reload procedure" in an attempt to circumscribe the precise causal element:

    1. Load your OS "bare bones"... If everything is optional, do not install it.
    2. If the behavior is immediately, then try another OS with step 1
    3. If the behavior does not immediately, then run for as long as necessary to make you to be sure that the behavior will not occur.
    4. Add one more thing - no matter how tempting, one.
    5. If the behavior does not immediately present, and then runs for long enough to be sure he won't have the same problem
    6. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are responsible or the behavior presents

When the behavior shows up, you know the culprit... the last thing you have loaded.

If the behavior doesn't re-present, then you know that step 1 or 2 cured it.

If the behavior has anything, then you have probably a problem of material level for which no amount of OS or software can heal.

You may also use these tips:

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

    • KB19915 How to perform a clean reload of the smartphone BlackBerry using BlackBerry Desktop Software application software

Good luck and let us know!
