  • BlackBerry Smartphones cannot SEND the SMS messages on 8130

    Here is my story:

    1. I've upgraded to a Blackberry Pearl 8130 pink in the beginning of the year.   My carrier is Verizon.

    2. recently (a month ago) a friend sent a text message to me of his new phone.  I tried to text back, but received a big big red X indicating that my message isn't getting through.  Specifically, when I opened my message, the error says, "State of the Mobile equipment has failed."

    3. I went to Verizon.  They did something where I think that they took me off the network and then get back on.  There is nothing.  She wanted to make a hard game on the phone, but I had not backed up my data again.

    4. I went home and my data backed up and returned to Verizone about a week later.  I spend more than an hour in the store.  The gentleman who helped me was on the phone with someone (no doubt technical support) nothing works.  He was ready to order me a phone replacement, but after further discussions with technical support, they thought there was a problem with the network, not my phone.  I went home with a case number.

    5. the next day same Verizon called.  They said it wasn't a network problem and it was my phone.  They would send me a replacement.

    6. I received my replacement phone a few days later.  I was anxious to get it set up, but the results were the same.  I have not yet returned to Verizon.  I thought I'd try everything here first see if anyone had any ideas.

    The bottom line:

    I CAN send/receive emails.

CAN I send an MMS message.

    I CAN receive text Messages.

    I can't send SMS messages.

Thanks for any advice you may have.

    -Sandra

    Tami,

Thanks for the reply.  I happy to point out, however, that the problem has been resolved by Verizon!  It has never been my phone, that's why the replacement was a mute point.  Anyway, here is their answer (in case someone else has this problem):

Sandra, we reviewed your account and coding in any of our servers.  We believe that we have found the problem and fixed it.  We ask that you update your PRL (preferred roaming list) by calling the * 228, option 2.  Once completed please test your ability to send text messages.

I'm just glad that the problem has been resolved because my frustration was very high.

    Happy texting!

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) books of forwarding Service

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider to support formal... consider that you pay for your services and official support and now they seem not to be to deliver. • 9380 blackBerry smartphones cannot start the App World after the operating system upgrade + card

    Hello

my camera 9380 worked perfect when I bought it.

Then I upgraded OS to v7.0.0.513 to 7.1.0.366-> BBM did not work

    So I drove back and re-installed 7.0->

    (1) maps: "error at startup net_rim_bb_maps: class 'net.rim.device.api.lbs.maps.ui.ManeuverFiled' not found.

    (2) BB App World must be closed

    any help?

Hello and welcome to the community!

I'm sorry, but the errors you posted seem somewhat independent... so I need clarification please:

    Gbassi wrote:

Unfortunately, "did not work" is not really diagnosable. What, exactly, have you tried? What, exactly, happened every step of what you tried?

    Gbassi wrote:

    (2) BB App World must be closed

I do not see how these two errors are related to the first, you were trying to throw the maps app when it appeared? For the second, which came with the maps app? Or is separate #2 and lies somewhere in the process by using your AppWorld? Complete step by step of what you try, with a full explanation of what is happening at each stage, including the full text of all error messages, is essential to understand your situation and if all goes well to guide. Otherwise, we have to guess...

So I guess. My guess is that, once you upgrade to 7.1, you don't have to perform a few extra steps to ensure that all services were properly enabled on your BB. Here are the steps. I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) I hope that will move things again for you! You can try these few points in your process... either now (on 7.0.0.513) or after you re - try to upgrade to 7.1.0.366.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones cannot send or reply to emails (BES)

Recently I stopped being able to send or answer email on my server on my Blackberry Curve 8310 BES account.

Very well, I can receive emails, send and receive calls, send and receive text messages.  I can't send or respond to my Outlook emails.

Here's what I've tried so far:

My blackberry BES Server account deletion and recreate. After you remove all the books service and wiping the phone, I did a battery pull and reloaded my acocunt.  Did not work.

I even tried another phone, the problem has followed me.

I'm running out of ideas on how to solve this problem, any help would be appreciated.

    -Richard

Thanks to the advice of Bolder, I could find the solution.

Apparently the Blackberry admin account cannot send on behalf as a domain administrator in Active Directory.  So I just removed the account out of the domain administrators group and made sure the account was inherit permissions (that is to say the blackberry admin send on bahalf as)

    Now it works fine.

    Thanks for all your help.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones cannot lock the phone through blackberry ID

    Hello

I take a phone of my coleague who has left the company. For some reason, I can't able to connect on the phone. Firstly I didn't at first, the password of my coleague ex, I went online and changed the password. However, when I want to connect with my new password to unlock the phone, I have this message:

"You have exceeded the number of attempts to connect.

For security reasons, you have been locked for 15 minutes. "Click on forgotten password if you need create a new password.

But after 15 minutes and try again, the message... helpppp

You try the BlackBerryID, or the security password, on the device?

It looks like the BlackBerryID if you are locked out for 15 minutes.

A wrong entered security password would give you only a message something like «wrong password 2/10»

Then, to change the BBID of this device and make it 'your own' device, you'll need to do a wipe of the device security. This will delete all the data in personal, contacts, calendar, etc. and restore the State of the plant basically.

  • BlackBerry smartphones cannot send emails

I installed all UNITED and OS 4.5 on my 8300.  I do not send emails from my phone but today when I tried, I noticed that I was unable to.  I have a GMAIL account and use BIS.  When I create the e-mail, it acts like it's going to send but disappears from my GMAIL account and does not appear in the messages folder.  When I open the email it shows "sent to help: unknown" and the symbol indicating that she is trying to send.  I checked my e-mail settings > Service Messages > and my GMAIL address is selected.

Please help as this is very frustrating...

It was working fine before unite... I have connected my BIS and the resentment of my books of service and so far, it seems to have solved the problem.  I'm really concidering uninstall unit of my computer and blackberry.  I like the fact that if its lost I can erase the device remotely, but the only other advantage I see with unit is the ability to remotely view the files on my computer.  The headaches caused by unit doesn't seem to be worthwhile in my case.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones cannot send or reply to messages

My 8530 has been put in place at Verizon. I was able to send and receive messages. However, I noticed that my calendar is past not my Curve 8330 more so I tried to transfer from the old phone using the mnager BB desktop software.

Since then I can't use my BB to send or reply to so e-mail or text messages. The message I get says "no service message not configured. You will be redirected to the Setup Assistant to configure your e-mail account. "I go to the installation wizard which gives me the possibility of creating or adding an e-mail account or to set up a professional email with BB Enterprise Server. I then go to the page that shows my e-mail and password. I press Ok and then said that this e-mail is already set up.

So why am I unable to send e-mail messages or if it's true?

    Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come):

    (1) registry HRT

    • Homescreen > Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table > (it matter little what line is current) > sign up now

    (2) Service reference books

    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service

Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS lines for these accounts.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones cannot send or reply to emails

I have a 8330, my email is set up by aol, I receive emails fine but cannot reply or send. He said: "no mail service not configured".

How do I config that I can send and respond?

    Try this:

    1. options > advanced > host Routing Table > Menu > register.

2 send your service from your carrier's BIS site books.
    Of your handheld: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402
    Your desktop PC: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830

    3. with the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart

  • BlackBerry Smartphones cannot send or receive e-mails from 10/23

Lost all connectivity e-mail to my e-mail account on Roadrunner (socal.rr.com).  Tried to validate my account from the smartphone and also on the Blackberry site.  The email validation fails - has provided no further details.  Have made several unsuccessful attempts to validate the account and have checked that I provided correct email account information.  Also have restarted the unit several times.  Don't know what I can do.  He had to deal with that.

You can try to delete the email, removing the service books so that e-mail, then put in place again.

Another idea, if you use a password to connect and the service has two factors optional security, go to that and the new.  Alternatively, if you use the method of the two factor, shut it down and test.

I received recently from 8330.  I did not able to send pictures to other phones but (MMS) I can send them to an e-mail address.  So far, all the phones that I have tried to send to are all on Verizon (same network I'm on) I can send to another Blackberry.  How can I send to non-Blackberry phones?

Also - I can't receive pictures sent cellphones as well (text) - once again, I can receive pictures from an another Blackberry.  Other phones, it shows that the photo was sent, but I never got the message.

    Thoughts please?

    Thank you

I managed to do the work. It was a matter of Verizon with how BB has been programmed.  Everything works fine! Thank you.
