BlackBerry Smartphones Email password verification

Today, I've updated my blackberry 9300 through blackberry desktop.

installed version is now pakkage 6.0 2949

When I restarted my BB my email accounts where blokked and I need to check the accounts to enable them again.

I tried the password I usually use for my accounts, but nothing seems to work.

I can't even delete the accounts...

  • BlackBerry smartphone email PASSWORD LOOP NIGHTMARE!

Please can someone help me... Monday, I contacted BT on a new fixed rate, and I noticed just today that I wasn't getting emails on my Blackberry. I had to set up, then e-mail settings and can see the 'old' e-mail account that worked no probs until Monday. It requires a password, but I tried all the 'usuals' nothing works.  I went on the BlackBerry Internet Service site to try to reset my password, I managed to do that they sent my new password to my email address that does not work! So I can't access it now.  He went through on my PC (although it is the same email address), or my ipod (also same e-mail address), how can I have access to this password?  I tried all the other usuals solve this problem - I rebooted, got wifi on etc etc.  Please if anyone knows can they explain it in terms simple v that I am a techno * beep! * Thanks in advance,

    Hello again,

I solved the problem (with your help so thank you much for that)

I phoned Vodafone this morning, but he was using my cell phone to call therefore had to phone back tonight.  It turns out that the two e-mail addresses (address of BT) and My Vodafone address had been "knocked out" for example - I go to www.mobileemail.vodafone.net to log in and confirm a new password.  Vodafone have been able to help me with their address, but then I knew that the process for BT, (although I've had a few guesses a password!)  Vodafone customer service has been exemplary

But without your help I probably would not have thought phone Vodafone because I wasn't expecting to help (especially when I thought it was only a matter of BT)

Exactlywhat still im not sure caused the problem in the first place, but am very happy to have solved it. Thank you.

  • BlackBerry smartphone email password update, turn round and round in circles

I used an e-mail account on my blackberry for almost a year now.  Today the blackberry ceased to receive emails on this account and I received an email from blackberry telling me to update the password for this e-mail account.  I followed the instructions in the email to blackberry. But it does not recognize the password I put in that.  When I click on "forgotten password", I get a message saying that my password has been sent to my device.  But no password can't.

My other e-mail account on my device seems to work very well.

Hi all and welcome to the forums.

This can be corrected simply by going to the site of BIS, and reinsert your correct password.

    This article explains.

  • BlackBerry smartphone email password

I've updated since a 8520 to a 9720 yesterday. I went through the configuration of email and the phone asks me a password that I don't have. I never used a password to my email above (on the 8520).

Now, I can not activate the configuration of e-mail because the phone refuses to continue beyond the entry point a password.

Can U help with this question?

If you set up an e-mail account on your phone, it's one that you already use when you access your emails on your PC for example Hotmail, GMail, Outlook, etc. To implement this on your PC e-mail address, you will need to provide a password (there is no way around it, each e-mail account requires a password). This is the password for which your phone is requested.

    See you soon.

  • BlackBerry smartphones validate password, is no, still no email

I'm SO frustrated. For 2 years I received emails on my blackberry without problem. Yesterday, I stopped receiving them and received a message to validate the password of my email address. When I go to the Setup email, it shows my email address (which I can connect fine with my computer) and it is red and below says "invalid account. Please validate. "  Then when I go to add (i.e. the option below the directive "validate") and try to add my account with the same email address and password I've always had, he told me that my email address is already registered and won't let add me it.  I even went to advanced option and deleted my e-mail on the service folder and tried to add again and it's the same process as above. Help, please!

Hi all... Sorry that none of the volunteers noticed this thread... I hope this isn't too late...

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support... they are 100% responsible for all of your services and all your formal support, regardless of the root cause of the problem. They can escalate cases RIM that they cannot manage without charge to the end user. So, if you need to call them, don't let them you fob off... think of him that way... you pay for all the services and support, and they currently deliver.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphone accessing password Keeper data using office software

I recently had a pressure of crack in the LCD screen on my Curve 8310.

I need to access my passwords stored in password keeper, however given that the LCD is toast, impossible to read anything on the phone.

I'm waiting on a replacement LCD screen, but need to pass, as soon as POSSIBLE.

Are there programs to display the program on the pc?

I tried a solution that actuall work, so I thought I'd post in case anyone else has this same problem.

I had previously saved data for my Blackberry Curve 8310 using the office management software.

I downloaded a Simulatr for my Curve 8310 and installed the software.  I found the Simulator to the BlackBerry Smartphone simulators - URL

    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/developers/resources/simulators.jsp

Once the program was installed, I ran the program, which shows a picture of the phone.

I started my office management software.

Now to back in the Smartphone Simulator

In the menu, I selected 'USB cable connected' which simulates the connection of the smartphone.

Once I did this, the office management software prompted me to create settings then phone again.

Once I implemented this new virtual phone, I restored my backup from the virtual desktop management software to the new.

I could then use the mouse to go to the password manager and open the program.  It prompted me for my password and all data appeared.

Hope this helps someone else.  Good luck.

  • Transfer of blackBerry Smartphones to password Keeper, Memo Pad, and Photos of Bold 9700 new curve 9320

    Hello

I don't have 'Outlook' put in place on my PC, or I really like.

Is it possible to synchronize the password Keeper, Memo pad and the Photo of my current Bold 9700 to my Blackberry Desktop Manager?

Then I can transfer these items to my curve 9320.

    Thank you.

    Hi Tamara133

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

If you stay at 9320 curve then more easiset way to do this is an Assistant to switch device using Desktop software.

KB23677  :  How to switch using BlackBerry Desktop Software devices.

Or if you want to perform a selective restore to your new 9320 then first do a full backup of your old 9700 using desktop software. Once you have your backup connect your 9320 and run the software, select the device from software > restore > data choose selected since your last backup you did > scroll down the list and select only the password keeper and memo key data in this list, then click on apply.

  • Setup of blackBerry Smartphone email and BBM number on 9780

    Hi all

Recently, I noticed that my bbm "n" shortcut did not, all the other shortcuts like memo, calculator, etc. have been working well. I cross checked the "n" key on the message, e-mail etc., which works very well. It was obvious that the key is fine, probably thinking of the device is in need of an upgrade of the OS, I upgraded to 6.0.0.706 to the download site for the India BB software. Since then he has screwed my application of messaging and bbm on the device configuration. The problem started after I configured my device after the upgrade of the OS, without doing something fancy. Now, I am unable to work my e-mail installation or bbm.

The trickiest part, the E-mail setup application:

When I work through installation and choose the email Setup icon, ideally it should give me two options. 1. business account and 2.  Internet e-mail account.

After the upgrade the email set up gives me settings to choose from business accounts, where the option of Internet e-mail account? After a thorough and exhausting, research in the community, I heard people talking about relocation of the configuration of the e-mail application. Done that but still no go. So now, I can't add my e-mail address, ' coz there is no option or how to configure it.

    For bbm:

I have a return to the top of my contacts, which I've tried to run over and over again, but it brings back me to the original configuration and asks me to enter the display name. Now restore backup should restore my profile/contacts, but it doesn't. On a positive note, my shortcut for bbm works!

I would also like to bring to your notice that I have a bis plan on my device, active, but after upgrading my app world or native applications do not work on bis but wifi. Strange! Now the question is why would the upgrade of a simple bone cause me so many problems. I upgraded my phone several times since I bought it. This is driving me crazy and crazy, this phone has an excellent reputation and does not mean I am a bit disappointed by his performance or his now making me hurt.

Please help, I don't want to empty this phone!

    Hello abhijit17

Well... How updated the OS using desktop software or OTA, OS update should not ask this question.

Meanwhile the first tip is to register your device with your corporate network, for more help see this KB:

    • You expect a registration messages in your Inbox messages.

After receiving the Registration message restart your device, then check again.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can help me with my little problem.

Did you mean that your emails and text messages are coming in the same folder? If so then try the following-

    Separate messages-> Options-> General Options-> E-mail and SMS: separate

If you mean your different built-in emails appearing in mail and separate mail folder then please be informed that this default happenes. BlackBerry smartphone is designed as such if you think this is awkward, can hide Messages folder (press the Alt button-> click-> Menu select hide).
