  Do you mean that you want to uninstall App World from your device. If it is then for BlackBerry® Device Software 5.0, go to Options >Applications > and then select third party. Then uninstall App world from there.

  Generally, the first time you launch AppWorld as the first time you go to a category, there is a large amount of data to download. Patience is the key. I found that wait at least 5 minutes for each category of charge completely has helped make his later use more fluid and faster... but the first time was very very slow. It's just the way it works now.

  I did a software upgrade a few days ago, then I did a restore, because I lost all my App I had downloaded. After I did the restore, I started to download every App, when I was told that I can go the Blackberry App world on my desktop and reinstall them faster then one by one. Before that I was downloading one by one.

  Now that I did, I can see the icons on my BB but when I go to my world App on my phone, some of the same application are evidence of uninstall, when I have them install. Please help solve this problem.

  My phone was working fine without problem until I did the update of the operating system software. I hope that we can have this correction at your earliest.

  Can anyone ease my mind? I received a text informing I needed to upgrade my Blackberry Apps World and had to create a user ID. Later in the process he advised that I should give my paypal password and that your future purchases would not speak based on the new blackberry and password. He gave me the opportunity to accept it as the only way to adjust th Apps World in the future.  I was suspicious but not able to contact Blackberry to check that it was a formal request.  Stupidly, I enter my paypal password, which she said was not valid and that I could enter payment details later. I came out of the site then tried to come back using the new id and basically apps world froze with a banner saying authentication and a symbol of locking up.  I changed the phone market but he continued to show the same thing.  Once a few more attempts with the same result, I took out the battery and then tried again. Apps World began, but I think it was the original version. Is the agent of upgrade? It seems not just to replace my id/password my paypal password world apps.   You can do this by finding your app in BlackBerry AppWorld online catalogue (available here: http://appworld.blackberry.com/webstore/).  Once you have found your application, click on the button send (on the right side) and then insert your e-mail address.  This will then send a link to your email address which you can then easily transfer it to others as you see fit.  You can also use this method to send links to anyone.  Another suggestion is to take the QR code for your application and include that in your email.  All users need to do is scan this code using the barcode scanner in the AppWorld and it will automatically open the page of the app in BlackBerry AppWorld.

  Found a solution! Laughing out loud! How delayed. I changed my email in bb code. For example, after changing from one gmail to another account, I changed it back and baaammmm! Problem solved, but do not know why it should be a problem in the first place right?

  Well, RIM develops upgrades of the OS, your mobile operator "put out there" for you to upgrade.

  And there are many warnings rich to do upgrades of the OS without first accomplishing your own backup device independent... but this is not serious now.

  1. Anywho, do... go into Options > device > Applications, search AppWorld on your list and IF it is, delete it.
  2. Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
  3. Now, use your browser to go to the www.blackberry.com/appworld and download/install AppWorld again.
