• My screen blackBerry Smartphones has been frozen all day? Help, please!

  Okay so I recently bought a blackberry 9800 torch of my friend, its not in poor condition but it has a few scratches on it. the phone also worked well for her.

  This morning, installed an app to rename my files of music, called MTagz or something like that

  directly after the installation, a grey box with a blue loading circle sign and the word loading it appeared. I thought he'd go after a while, but long story short, he didn't.

  Ive tried to restart and turn my phone off, then on, but it won't work. If I could, I would like to uninstall the app, but my phone is completely insensitive.

  I can enter my PIN and password, but as soon as the shoes at the same time the touch screen home screen and keyboard do not work. I can also press the menu button to switch between windows, but when these windows open again I can't do anything.

  If the behavior continues, then well... think what happened just before this behavior started? A new application? An update? A theme? Something else? Think carefully that the slightest change can be causal... and try to undo all that was.

  But if the behavior continues mode without failure, you may need to consider more drastic measures - WIPE, OS Reload, BBSAK Wipe/Reload and the process of reloading OS 'skeleton '.   I recently upgraded from BB Curve 8900 (with OS 5) to a Bold 9780 (with BlackBerry 6).

  Since I was about 20 clients appointment 2 hours a week, I found at the sight of the "week" of the calendar under OS 5 the best journal I used in more than 30 years! Each day for an entire week showed at least 9 hours and vacant 'niche roles' could be seen in the blink of an eye. The new calendar unfortunately shows no more than seven hours a day (sometimes as little as 5.5), and the details of any appointment obscuring part of the screen when the appointment is selected.

  I am not opposed to change, but I REALLY want to go back to the old calendar. Does anyone know if this can be done with the new operating system?

  Any help or pointers to workaround would be appreciated.

  You cannot use the application calendar of OS5 on your current OS6.

  I just got a new Torch 9800 that is connected to & configured server of my company blackberry. I also use Chinese entry (writing function key) and two problems below, pls help:

  (1) cannot use the quick key to search for contact when using phone, for example to enter a 'P', it will show "Peter" and "Peggy" from the contact list contact. I can only choose after selecting "call for contacts.
  Initially, I didn't know when this function has stopped. After several rounds of tests, more likely, it happened after I switched the input to the Chinese language and has not switched back to English at the same time.

  I found that several KBs can relate to this problem, KB13326, 14372, 04052. And followed the advice but still don't work except if I cold start the phone, i.e. remove the battery. He returned to normal. Once I have change the language again, the problem returns.

  (2) I put my phone to the phone call when it is locked. When the phone is locked, cannot display call log history. A few days before, he was not. Don't know what that value and make this problem.

  If your company blocks applications, there is not much you can do, but pray with IT to let you have access to them.

  There is an app called quickpull that can restart the phone, but a battery pull works best to clear the temporary files and the cache.

  I don't know if the GPS works at all the or not depends on whether the carrier allows him. But even if they do, it can be quite risky. I have Verizon in the United States and subscribe to the GPS service. I think it's pretty good - when it works.   There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

  Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

  • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

  If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

  The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:
