BlackBerry Smartphones has stopped receiving e-mail messages

I have a Blackberry Curve 8300 and my ISP is earthlink.net. Everything works fine until today, when I stopped to receive e-mails on my Blackberry. I just checked, and I can send messages very well, of course, but do not receive them.

Hmmm... I suggest a number of things. First of all, a restart:

With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning.

If that fails, then try to send your service books:

Give a try and let us know.

See you soon!

I remember to have make us "service packs" to resolce cela some time ago, but I forgot the procedure.

Could someone give me instructions simple on what & how?

    Thank you.

Joey, there was a RIM data outage widespread this afternooon and continuing in tonight, now.

He covered ATT, Verizon, Tmobile, Rogers, Telus and Sprint and others. It should be cleared soon, if all goes well.

  • Email to blackBerry Smartphones has stopped working! The problem is NOT solved!

My BB 9780 was working fine a few weeks ago and then stopped my emails.

I have not added any application or change anything

I tried this service book record thing, out of battery, removal of e-mails and trying to set them up again (which doesn't work now) and nothing

    So no idea?

I'm tired of these bugs... I would really like to have a phone that can receive emails, otherwise it will become a big paperweight

Hello and welcome to the community!

I know you said you tried some things, but I don't know if you've done these steps exactly. Therefore, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS configuration for these accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones not to receive e-mail automatically

I am a new user... BB has the same e-mail address as desktop. All office emails automatically to my BB. I want to stop this automatic function and IF I want the emails to go to the BB then I turn it on. I read another post on the redirect but could not follow the steps.

is it possible to simply check email when I want?

    Andy

Ahhh... now we have the heart of the matter! GMail and the persistent problems with synchronization. See this article on the many possibilities of synchronization of different messaging services.

    http://www.BlackBerry.com/BTSC/microsites/search.do?cmd=displayKC&docType=kc&externalId=KB05133&SLIC...

Two of my BIS accounts are Gmail so and, Yes, if you remove in the client PC that he remove it from the BB. Boring. But there are remedies...

To stop completely to receive emails, go to settings > e-mail settings. If your GMail account is listed, highlight (but do not click) it. If, instead, you have a log on screen, connect to BIS using the credentials you need and then highlight your GMail account. Now click on the snowflake at the bottom of the screen. See the bottom? "When no filter?" Set to do not transfer. Save everything and you will only receive emails. When you want to once again, this time again and assign messages before. With this method, you will receive messages on the BB that while you had cut her off.

GOLD - you can stop data inside the connection management services. As long as you don't need data to all services, this will stop the flow. But once you restart the flow, you will receive all messages remain on the server of GMail (I know not if you have your Outlook client, remove them from the server or not).

GOLD - you can use the client Add on Gmail for BB. By using the web browser of storm, go to GMail and there should be a 'get gmail faster' or such a link. Click on it and install the client. Launch the client and configure it to your Gmail account. This customer will maintain a full emails on GMail sync so that when you delete in Outlook, it will remove your BB. The only downside here is that, when you send a message with the help of this module, you cannot attach a file to your e-mail. But, you could leave the BIS duct in place (with no transfer for BB)... If you need send an attached file, use the conduit of BIS.

Note that, if you had BES, these responses would have been significantly different. If all goes well, one of these solutions will give you what you are looking for.

Edit - all solutions depend on your Outlook client... If it's leaving messages on the server forever, so they come to the BB no matter what you do...

    See you soon!

  • Email from blackBerry Smartphones has stopped and the icon at the top

Somehow, somehow my phone became not connected to the mobile network.  I noticed it because I stopped doing e-mails from my 2 accounts.  So I reconnected it, and I don't seem to receive emails again.  There is also a small oval blue icon vertical at the top right under the bar signal and next to the icon, he says 1xev.  I don't think I've seen this before and am wondering two things... How do I diagnose the situation by e-mail and this icon has something to do with anything either?

    Thank you all.

Here are a couple of things to try.

First things first, start with a basic battery pull, just in case (it is the best way to solve most of the problems).  Open the back, remove the battery for about 15-30 seconds, plug the battery back and let the phone restarts.  Then see if it works.  If this is not the case, proceed to the next step.

Then, go to Options (the icon) > Mobile network and check to make sure that the network selection Mode is set to automatic and that network technology is set to 1XEV.  In some cases, it can go to Global, which can cause problems (when I went to Global, my signal went from 1XEV to 1xev - I went back and I had full signal within 20 seconds).

Then, re - register your phone on the BlackBerry network - go to Options > Advanced Options > host Routing Table and press the BB menu button and select Save now.  Final step is to return your Service books.  If you have access to your BIS account, go to settings > e-mail settings.  Sign in to your account, press the BB menu button and select this option to send Service directories.  If you do not have this capability, call your carrier and ask them to do it for you, or if you are on a BES network, ask your BES administrator.

This should get you operational, but if not, let know us.  And if this does not work, let us know what worked not for future reference!  Good luck!

As for the vertical blue icon, is there something a and B in there?  If so, this is the bluetooth icon.  You can disable this option via the icon manage networks.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Start/Stop, receive emails

    Hello

I have a Blackberry Bold 9000 and I have some problems:

    1. I want to start and stop the receipt of emails. I want to be able to activate the reception of messages when I can't use my computer and when I use my computer I want to stop receiving emails on my phone.

    2. I do not know how to set "call waiting".

    3. I see only the first page of the spare part. How can I see all the pages!

My manual is not very helpful.

Thank you and waiting for your answers.

Once you go into the settings of e-mail make sure that the 'Message Services' at the top is set to the office and then search for the Email send to handheld computer option. If you are still missing may try to remove and restore the service book CMIME. If you can go to Options | Advanced options | Service book. Find and delete the desktop [CMIME book}. Then return to the main screen and wait about 1-2 minutes. Later, you can go service logbook screen, click the menu button and choose Undelete. This will return the CMIME book. Subsequently wait 1-2 minutes and check again the e-mail settings screen. If it does not your IT Department can push new the BES service books.

Depending on the size of the file PDF is that you have a few choices. I'm looking for one now, it's about 100 pages. If I remember correctly the BlackBerry downloads only 32 KB both. With a PDF, you have several ways to see. If you press the menu button you can choose between consultation as text, or the two (text and images). If you are a display as text, so that you can just keep scrolling to the low view more. If you look at one both you can use the "n" and "P" keys to go to the next and previous pages respectively. Or you can click the menu button and choose Next Page or Prev Page. If you are a text view, you can click the menu button and choose to download more than the attachment to see more.

  • Menu of Options of blackBerry Smartphones has stopped working

My article 'Options' in the menu on the main screen has stopped working.  It is to the context menu that appears when you press the BB.  It allows you to change the wallpaper and rearrange the rows and columns of icons.  It works once after I reboot by removing the battery.  I put the background (once) and the configuration of the icon (once).  This works in other apps like mail and browser. On the main screen you can press it, but it does nothing.

    Any information would be appreciated.

It is a bug.  I spent some time with Verizon and Blackberry on it.  I suspect that his establishment when the OS patch was released.

Blackberry support is excellent.  I suggest, if you're having some real problems, give them a call.

  • BLACKBERRY DESKTOP MANAGER blackBerry Smartphones has STOPPED WORKING

Am having a problem with my Blackberry Curve to my office data synchronization.

Had two crashes of disk in two weeks. Later included the replacement of the two drives configured in RAID 0. Am running Vista Ultimate with MS Office 2007 SP2. I've restored the system using the full restore of backup restore & Microsoft and got everything works well again. Since the last crash, whenever I have sync Blackberry Desktop, I get the error: CALENDAR TREATMENT DEVICE - BLACKBERRY DESKTOP MANAGER has STOPPED WORKING.

I was at the forums online and support including Blackberry sites and took the following measures, which neither solves the problem.

    ·         Uninstalled DM 4.7 and installed 4.6 DM (one of the forums suggested this - I was running 4.6 before the last crash when the error started when I upgraded to 4.7.)

    ·         Repaired the outlook.pst file by using the windows onboard utility (he finds errors and repair the)

    ·         Delete the synchronization of the DM section and re-configured

    ·         Restarted the computer Pocket

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

The problem is resolved. I talked to the Tech Center RIM and the calendar on my camera had been damaged. The solution was to remove the calendar on my device and then re sync.

  • BlackBerry Bold 9780 Smartphone has stopped receiving all emails

BlackBerry Bold 9780 to T-Mobile. Several accounts of e-mail (pop and web) lately, I've been affected by a delay in obtaining the emails on my "BOLD", then ceased to receive all emails from all accounts. Device will always SEND emails. Previously, I tried to restart, then made a pul battery that has solved the problem temporarily. Now it has been 36 hours with no emails. NEED VITAL!

On your BlackBerry device, go to:

    1. options > advanced > host Routing Table > Menu > register.

2 send your service from your carrier's BIS site books:
    Of your handheld: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402

Go to the Personal Email Set Up icon and sign. Then under help!, select Service books and select send service books.

    Your desktop PC: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830
North American carriers - scroll down to select your carrier
Carriers worldwide - find your operator from the list

    3. with the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart. This restart, even if you have already done this, is often necessary to install the service books.

  • Email to blackBerry Smartphones has not updated in the "Messages" icon in 3 days

Ive had the Blackberry "BOLD" for 3 months - had no problem getting my personal e-mail in the Messages icon. 3 days ago, he stopped appearing here. I can't get these emails by selecting "View folder", then "Inbox"... I see then all of my email. However, if I close the Messages then and reopen it, it shows my email from 3 days. Help!

Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Now that you see your email correctly?

  • Email to blackBerry Smartphones has stopped working

My BB Torch suddenly stopped making emails, but it is still connected to the wifi and my mobile network and still can open Web sites.  When I go to settings and click on email accounts (2), I get a message that says: "your device had a problem connecting to the server.  I can't access my email on the device settings.  I always get this message, either one saying "Connecting to the e-mail settings", then the other message.

If I try to send an email, I get a message at the top of the project email that says "blocked Service."

I have tried to re - start my camera by removiing and reinsert the battery, but the problem is still there.  I also tried a complete restoration, and that did not help.

I called my internet provider and asked if he had an idea, but it didn't.

My email works fine on my PC; It's just my BB which will not be can not access the server.

I have no idea where to go from here.

Thank you again once, you'll be.  Your advice was good and pointing me in the right direction.  I forgot that I changed my cell plan yesterday morning and the new plan did not include data.  I called my mobile service provider and put an add-on data on my account and I have now by e-mail.  Thanks a lot for your good advice.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones POP stopped receiving Email

One of my POP accounts mysteriously ceased to receive emails today.  This has happened before and I just deleted the account and returned it.  Tonight, however, it does not.  Any method that I use to create a new email account of the results in case of failure of the software to connect to the mail server.  Tried methods:

    -Using the "automatic configuration".

    -Enter everything manually

-Setup email on the site Web of BIS

    -Automatic installation

    -Configuration manual

    -Import the Outlook settings

I tried all the options without success.  I even had the e-mail advising me of the failure.  What can I do to fix this?  This is my work email, so it is a bit important!

OK... I just tried Setup again on the site of the BIS Sprint and mysteriously, it worked.

  • Buttons and screen of blackBerry Smartphones has stopped working.

    Hi all

My Blackberry works today - strange as usually very reliable. Problems: I can used is no longer the screen - it high lights up the apps but they won't open when I push on, buttons work. And he starts to turn his car.  He gets calls, but you can pick up.

Odd - until this morning it was working fine but now nothing works at all.

What is really strange it is the sensitive touchscreen, but does not when you click. The screen lock has also stopped working. Basically, everything is bolloxed

    Any suggestions?

    Probably tired...?

    Thank you

    Tim

    Yep, it's pretty common,

Do this now. Remove the battery for at LEAST 3 days and put the device in a bag of uncooked dry rice. He's going to soak up moisture.

An alternative to rice, is leave the unit with the battery removed, sitting at 3 days on top heat emitting an electronic device, such as a cable box, stereo amplifier, something with dry heat.

The recovery key is the several days without putting the battery to check it out.

Remember, electricity plus water is not good.
