BlackBerry Smartphones Holster / case rest
Ive got a new "BOLD". On my original still randomly restarted phone and the 16 GB card would not show all my music (and the scanning process took about 30 minutes)
Now - I have a replacement - however, depite music being fixed and the device doesn't reboot not randomly - this time its consistantly restart - but the stupid time.
Basically, I bought myself one of these cases

Often, when in the case seems closed, as if id put back in the Holster. It occurs at the beginning when, in the case, as soon as I take on the "BOLD" returns to life, but consiquently when I put it often in it turns off again!
at least its coherent, but something is not right. My last one did not this...! Any ideas? Do this back once again?
Really disappointed everyone was even capable of proposing something to this...
However, I thought I'd better post a potential solution for those who can meet this
My question was because the stop/standby "BOLD" is activated by a magnet in the case and fix it on my new case was a magnet - when I put the case back from the behind the "BOLD" (valve Carter) the magnet on the tie was activate the type of case closed!

BlackBerry Smartphones screen stays in the Holster
I have the BlackBerry brand leather case for my curve. Sometimes the screen turns off shortly after it is holstered and sometimes it stays on. I've disabled the hotkeys on the sides of the unit and changed the auto lock on Holster settings and the display remains always on. Any help would be appreciated.

I just bought the hard roots skin & Holster. My question is when my BlackBerry is in the Holster, I can't activate it. I have BlackBerry it also lights to I'm placing the BlackBerry in the case, the screen turns off and there is nothing I can do with it.
This is a function that I can do to ensure the BlackBerry works so that in the case?

You can not. This is not a parameter.
The BlackBerry detects the magnet and goes to sleep. It works as expected. Out of the Holster when you use it.

The sender sends me a MMS Message, but when I open it I see who sent it, but the rest of the message is empty.

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):
(1) registry HRT
- KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
(2) remove and return Service directories
- KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
- KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
(3) restart to take batt
- Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.
I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your provider of wireless services for formal support.

Somethng arrived at my BB contacts. I sync via USB to Lotus Notes. I noticed that recently, it only sync some contacts (the rest remaining on my BB). After hours of research, it seems that I have 2 desktops on my BB; only one that syncs. Can I have both for synchronization of batch to Lotus or (b) move the contacts on the BB from one to the other?

In this case, I would recommend wiping the BlackBerry smartphone. To do this, we would need to back up the BlackBerry smartphone. Please open the BlackBerry Desktop Manager and connect your BlackBerry smartphone. Click the backup and restore button, and select Save. Problems after update "BOLD" 9000 blackBerry Smartphones
After update BB Bold 9000 to V5.00.681

Platform 52.064, there are no Applications available in the application launcher (DM Version 6.0.1.18 on Windows 7). The Smartphone works very well but unfortunately Memopad and ToDo is missing. As part of the Planer DM, these two applications are marked as not installed. Please help me how to install these applications. In the application launcher, there is ONLY "Blackberry App World"

Try the following. Download the operating system of your carrier's Web site and install it on your computer. You can do this by selecting your operator from the list here: http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
Once you've done that, see if necessary applications will appear in the desktop software. If this isn't the case, then there is another method which should work. Just to be sure, make sure you back up your first device using Desktop software first.
On your computer, go to C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\Apploader and run the Loader.exe file. (Note: on computers 32 bit, should no (x 86) in the Program Files folder because the Program Files folder).
Once you start the Loader.exe file, simply follow the steps until you get to the point where you can select the applications. Now you should see the option to check the Documents To Go, notebook and any other software that has not been installed. Once you have all the apps you want enabled, simply press next (note: leave everything that is checked as checked, unless you want to uninstall). This should now load the applications on your BlackBerry while keeping the rest of your BlackBerry file system.

I found out why the screen blank sometimes after a few weeks.
When you put the BlackBerry smartphone ON the case. Then, the profile changes in mode 'IN THE HOLSTER"that has locked the keyboard and the screen black. When I now use the silicone case, it doesn't happen.

I had problems with my gmail set up. I could not send / receive. Message "blocked service."
I did a Wipe of security under option. Now, my Mail app icon is gone.

N ° of BB devices lack a complete email client on them. Instead, they depend on the BIS service to provide messaging functionality. BIS is active when you have also listed Internet/personal email where you currently see only Enterprise. Frozen to the software update blackBerry smartphones
I have a Blackberry Curve 9360 and it is frozen all by doing an update of the software (progress overall backup 13%). It has been like that for the last two hours. I tried to take out the battery, but it just goes back to the same screen when it restarts.

If this isn't the case, then you need to get in touch with your service provider and insist that they honor the formal support that they are contractually required to provide you with. Do not let you fob before having 100% solved the situation. If they tell you to contact RIM, don't let them not on the hook, then either... insist that they tell you exactly how you should contact RIM. If they say anything OTHER that they will increase you rim (for example, if they tell you to independently seek the support of the RIM), and then accept it. Only through an escalation of your service provider can you receive all official support from RIM.
Looks like they have made significant changes to their network... and they must ensure that their paying customers will continue to receive the services that they pay.
