BlackBerry Smartphones host Routing Table vacuum

My blackberry 9930 fone and all of a sudden last morning work was he had no ENCORE and there is no message in the host Routing Table, Ive sent messages that are not delivered and did a hard reset but nothing happens. The service provider says they can't pick up anything.

After you remove the service book, performing the hard reset by pulling your battery while your BlackBerry is on and reinsert again. Now try to register to the THS. Thank you.

God luck!

I want to apologize if I put this post in the wrong thread.

So here's the question. I sent a request to my service provider to upgrade several SIM's have Blackberry service added to them. I asked specifically for them to make sure that the SIM card have been set to BES not BIS. The first SIM card I try to register with the network does the following for me. The phone, before I save it with the BES server can call and surf the internet. Once I have sync the phone with the company's server and I go back outside to check on her send and receive these emails, I try to control the internet and it says that the service is not available. I have 3G (Yes capitol) service and I can make phone calls. The host routing table is empty and when I try to save the phone it just says 'sent message' but I never receives the roads. I wiped the phone and repeat the steps with the same result. I contaced the carrier because all the Google search I did pointed to the carrier but they swear the correct plan is attached. Please if anyone can help me it would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and welcome to the community!

In fact, he should persist with the carrier. But first try to remove this BB to your BES, then by the ResetToFactory WIPE to remove the it strategy. Then run everywhere with the BB, ensuring that you can do all the activities of BIS (including filling of the HRT) before activating the BES. If it continues to fail, then you must climb the carrier and BIS get work before you activate BES.

HRT and the functions of BIS should not be affected by BES, unless there is something in your it strategy that does. It is not very likely but it should impact the devices ALL active BES, not one only.

    Good luck!

    Hello

I have an unlocked wind Blackberry Bold 9700 which works very well on the Fido network, but curiosity got the better of me and I was messing around with the host Routing Table.  I selected the menu on one key and you click on sign up now.  Everything still works well, but I mess anything up?

This means that your device is registered on the network.

  • Empty blackBerry Smartphones host routing table, will not register with network and BIS

I wiped on my BlackBerry 9900 and subsequently, it gave me an error code 507. I reloaded the OS through programs by the Blackberry Desktop software and it was sussuccful. But since then I could not surf the internet with my phone despite having BIS suubscription with my network (Glo, Nigeria) provider. I checked the host Routine table and found it empty. I recorded several times and even removed the battery and replaced it, I also have network diagnostic test and did not get any form of change. I called my service provider and they have checked and confirm the status of my subscription and SIM is ok, I inserted my SIM card into another BlackBerry device and it worked fine. I tried different suggestions on the forum, but non of them solved the problem. Please kindly help me.

Then, you demoted in OS 7.0? Is this an official release aired by your own business? Make sure that it is. At this point, it is best to load the latest version published by your operator.

Then I suggest to contact your operator for the resolution. If they do not have a solution, I would ask to have the sim card replaced. I know you said it works in other devices, but it can still be bad and work in another device. If that don't solve this contact again and has them you reassign to BlackBerry. They are probably reluctant to do, but it needs to be emphasized. Only your carrier, in conjunction with BlackBerry can solve the problem.

    Help, please

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) remove and return Service directories

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If any stage does not properly complete, proceed to the subsequent steps will be useless... and you will need to contact your mobile provider for formal support. It's their network that your BB is unable to communicate with, after all.

    Good luck!

I registered several times but nothing happens. I have a gift of freedom of Vodafone afford data unlimited but I can't connect at all. Could someone help me? Thank you

Do you have a data Plan BlackBerry enabled on your account with your carrier or mobile provider?

You have to, to get the push RIM email functions you are looking for, as well as services of BlackBerry data such as the Web browser, Facebook for BlackBerry, BlackBerry Messenger and much more.

Then call your carrier and you learn about to have added to your account BlackBerry data Plan.

    Good luck.

  • Help for BBM blackBerry Smartphones & Facebook does not not for 9320 - problem with "host Routing Table? -Virgin

So, today I received my new 9320 at Virgin Mobile, first Blackberry & love the phone! but I can't use the BBM or Facebook app...

At first I could not even access the browser while that connected to my wifi... then I phoned Virgin & they helped me to reset the settings on my BB that I could use the browser etc...

I thought it was problem solved, until I discovered BBM and Facebook, use app world separate service? Anyway, I phoned up to Virgin because I wanted to do this job, they are included in my package & I did not understand why I can't access any of them...

After a long phone call the problem has proved that the "host routing table" was empty and (according to in Virgin) there is a problem with new BlackBerry receiving these details... they said this isn't a problem on the end there & told me there is nothing more they can do so to click 'register now' and wait for the details...

24 hours later and nothing, so I hope someone here can help me, make me a BB the whole point is things miss me actually lol and I feel now I'm paying for a phone contract I can't really use it, without any help from my provider?

    Any help?

    Or

Anyone with a new BB knows something like that recently? Thank you

Wow... Virgin you gave really there. You see, you PAY for 100% of your services and 100% of your formal support... at the moment, they seem to be or you deliver. Only they have the ability (in fact the RESPONSIBILITY!) to degenerate RIM requiring improved support of cases (from your description, it must be that... with a HRT empty, nothing that anyone here can do). End users have no free path to receive assistance from the RIM at all - only via the escalation. So, what I would do if I were you, is their ring back... but this time do not let you fob OFF... insist that, because you HAVE them, you have a contract with them and they are about to be in violation of this contract - they must solve your problem, degenerate into RIM if they wish.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones getting maintenance book, host table routing and 3G works on unlocked bold 9930

    Hello

I use an unlocked 9930 phone "BOLD" from verizon in India. My carrier is Vodafone. I am able to browse the internet from the phone by using a wi - fi connection. But I'm not able to use the BBM and apps like Gtalk Instant Messaging. I only turned on a vodafine BIS plan. There is no entry in routing table host, service in the phone book. I need help on this on how to get these two. Please excuse me if I m a very basic question. I'm new to BB. I have some confusion about BIS, BES and data plan. How these 3 are linked and wheather only BIS is suficient to connect to internet using the BB browser or it is mandatory to have a data plan with BIS to go he net?

It would be a great help if anyone can help me with the above queries.

    Thank you

If it a personal device so if you add the BlackBerry data Plan / BIS on your account will let you BBM, access to the BlackBerry browser, services of personal e-mail and many other data services on Mobile network, a data plan normal allows all the features.

When BIS is correctly activated by your carrier you will receive these maintenance book and will be able to see the Scriptures on the host Routing Table.

But the important question is the Indian more carrier are unable or not to add a device to verizon on network and has been reported by many users. Therefore, communicate with your carrier (Vodafone India) to know your problem.

  • Table routing of the Host of blackBerry Smartphones, PLEASE help!

So my blackberry has not put in place my email, which lead me to the menu host routing table. I hit sign up to 2 of the routing tables that appeared in the menu, but I don't really know what they are or if I should have done that. A notification pops up saying that the enrollment message has been sent. What is happening today and what I can do to fix this?

If you are able to use BBM then a blacberry active data plan - might be useful to give a call to your carrier and make sure that you are set up for the Blackberry Internet Service. (The service to use with yahoo, google etc.) as opposed to Blackberry Enterprise Service (the option of the company)

  • BlackBerry Bold 9900 not saved the network of Blackberry smartphones

    Hello

I have Blackberry data services with my provider of Meteor, and that they worked with my previous Blackberry 9900. I had to replace it and bought a second-hand 9900, which was a feature of company on the Vodafone network. I have unlocked it and I am able to use the SIM for calls and connect to the internet via wifi, but I'm unable to activate Blackberry internet services. Host Routing Tables are empty and I can't save. In addition, in the e-mail settings, I get only the ability to create a company account.

I did a full factory reset and I tried to save the Tables in routing host several times but nothing happens.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Start here please... you did some, but not all, these necessary things:

    In addition, please check this:

If there is a COMPUTER policy, please will then this:

    • Article ID: KB31291 How to reset a BlackBerry smartphone to factory using BlackBerry Desktop Software Settings

Finally, after all that, with a strong network carrier (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then again please contact your mobile provider for formal support. Please ask him to check very carefully as to why your BB cannot receive BIS of their network. There are several possible reasons (e.g., lost or stolen), and you will have to convince them to 'dig deeper' to understand why. Be aware that only they can do this research... nobody here has any access to this research.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones nothing works on a BB?

I just bought a BB 8820, which would supposedly is a Smartphone. With the iPhone 3 G comes out to the expensive dataplans, I thought BB would be a nice alternative. First surprise, it is that it only works with exchange and the company because no alternative is only supported in the Denmark where I use it.

OK, so this isn't really for lack of wheels, but makes use of my BB just as expensive as the iPhone. I would have been OK with it, but here's my problem: nothing works!

The browser, apparently only works on wifi, but not cell - really?

The GPS function has not yet find a satellite. Indoor and outdoor.

The cards do not have any kind of photo without worrying if these accessible WiFi or not.

Many applications refuse to work indicating that I need to a network or a wifi connection. This at the same time, when other applications are actually using the same wifi connection, which is apparently not found.

I tried the download of desktop software, but none of the versions I've tried work. Only, it can not sync, does not or can not find my BB.

Regarding the site Web of BB I can't even it works no doubt. The only reason why I posted this message here, is that there is no link to send an e-mail to the support team. (even if I agree - at this point my patience is too weak to look at for a long time).

So my question is simply: is there someone out there who knows if that's what you should expect from a BB or can I ask someone for a solution that would at least make my BB worth more than a $ 10 Nokia 1100?

I wouldn't compare the Blackberry to the iPhone.  Blackberries are designed for professional use, and I don't like what people tell you.  Technology of e-mail push like no other and is the largest point Seling to a Blackberry.  The iPhone has been designed for personal use and just happens to have a few features of the add-on that helps with the use of the company.  Comparing the iPhone to the Blackberry, you invite a bunch of comments from the RIM fanboys.

    jesperonline wrote:

There are several messaging for Blackberry solutions.  First, there is the Blackberry Enterprise Server (BES).  This solution supports Microsoft Exchange, Lotus Notes and Novell GroupWise, and all required documentation is on www.blackberry.com.  This solution is more for companies with many users of Blackberry.  There is also the Blackberry Internet Service (BIS), which is provided by your cellular operator and managed by RIM.  There should be a bookmark in your browser for the installation of the mail, and it is the configuration of the BIS account.  I do not know what other than Microsoft Exchange Outlook Web Access BIS support...  You can also use the Desktop Redirector that monitors your e-mail client, and relays the mail to your handheld.  This requires to have the software installed on a computer that runs all the time, and you leave your mail client open (this solution is less impressive in my opinion).

    jesperonline wrote:

I have a Sprint 8830 that doesn't have WiFi.  Almost every day, I use my browser over the cellular network.  To do this, you need your cell carrier BIS service books (this may also be why the e-mail does not work for you).

    jesperonline wrote:

Have you tried a battery pull?  In addition, if your browser and e-mail do not work, it is quite possible that you don't have a data plan, you'll need to render images in Blackberry Maps.  Try saving your computer on the network wireless Pocket (Options--> Options--> host Routing Table.  Click on the ball in, then select Save now).

The software will not work unless you also install the software on the handheld.  Check with your carrier for the latest version of the Desktop Manager and device software.  Software device for the same device of a another carrier will not work, because they are specially packaged for their respective holders.  Official carrier sites can be viewed here: http://na.blackberry.com/eng/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp.

RIM does not provide free technical support.  Support with them incidents are paid from the outset, similar to Microsoft.  If you have a technical question, the best point of contact is your carrier, because most have dedicated teams of support of Blackberry.  You can also sign up for the Blackberry Professional Software Express, which comes with a free support incident.

I can understand your aggravation, I think that most are of poor communication.  BlackBerry devices require a "Service books" almost everything to work.  If you want to access the data (browser, e-mail, etc.) via the cellular network, you need the BIS service books.  If you want to run GMail on your Blackberry, you GMail service directories, etc.  I remove the battery, wait 30 seconds, then back - turn on the Blackberry.  Once you have good coverage, try saving your device on the network (should say you record message sent, and you will get a response in your folder of Messages saying that you have been activated successfully on the wireless network).  If you do not receive the message saying that you have been registered successfully on the wireless network, you will need to check with your carrier that you have a Blackberry data plan.  Registration on the network invited the carrier to push directories of service important to your handheld, or else your Blackberry is not really mush more useful than this Nokia 1100 $ 10.

  • Not have blackBerry smartphones to connect to internet

I realized that my phone is unable to connect to the internet, even if I am able to send and receive emails from my phone and my wifi connection is fine. I tried to take the battery, return service directories to my phone and I also went to the registry option in the host routing table but does not change every time that I try to use the Web browser. It loads for a while and then the message "unable to connect to the internet, try again later appears. Is there anything else I should do? Thank you!

Hello and welcome to the community!

From your post, I can't tell if you do them in the order required... or know if every successful step as they should before moving on to the next step. So, with a strong carrier signal AND your WiFi radio OFF, I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (1) registry HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    (2) Service reference books

If not, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support... After all, it's their network with which your BB is to have trouble communicating.

    Good luck!

    Hello.

This is my first post on this forum.

I used Blackberry 9800 about 1 year. I had the SIM with Blackberry Internet Servise.

But there are two weaks my dead smartphone.

I bought the new Blackberry 9900.

I installed my Blackberry to Blackberry 9900 9800 sim card.

But BIS do not work. Service books came on smartphone, but the host Routing Table is empty.

I retry batery pull several times. Sign up for now.

Reinstalled the firmware by most software of the telecoms operator. Data services swith on.

Edge symbol does not to ENDE.

I don't know what I want to do.

Telecommunications operator could not help me.

There are many formal BB people on this site who can do different things... but it shouldn't because it is an exceptional case. The function of the site as a community of users, is clearly documented in the Ts and Cs as well as a banner at the top of every page of the site. When a person BB troubleshoot in a thread, it should be considered an exception, not the rule.

Of course, you are free to send a private of the VF message and see if you can have such favors.
