BlackBerry Smartphones how change carrier or wireless network?

Hello

I go to Manila this month, I want to use the wireless network there. How to do this?

Network provider: STC (Saudi Telecom)

BlackBerry: Torch 9860

Thanks in advance

There are many places to unlock your phone, use a trusted source that

also contact the unlocker after 3 failed attempts because after only 10 attempts it is locked perm.

Goto, device, advanced, system settings options SIM card.

Press the BB button and select show keyboard, hold down the SHIFT key locked up for type MEPD uppercase

Look for the network in the list.
If your device is "unlocked", we have disabled or inactive. If it says active, it is still blocked by this carrier.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones failed to register a wireless network to activate the personal e-mails

    Hi all

I have the new Blackberry storm, went through the usual process to set up the phone by using the wizard.

I tried for a week now define personal emails, but when you try to do, it gives me only the Enterprise configuration option.

I tried a lot of things that suggested the Blackberry site, but nothing has worked.

I tried to save the wireless network by following these steps:

By clicking on Advanced Options > the host Routing Table > sign up for

He then said 'Check that a confirmation e-mail message was received on the BlackBerry Storm smartphone'.

    It never crossed...

Wireless is still not registered and I can not always an option to run the personal e-mails...

Any comments or ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Your data plan may not be configured correctly on your phone.

I guess you cannot use the browser either.

Send a PIN message to yourself. If you do not receive it, your data plan is not in place.

Call your carrier and have them properly available phone, stay on the line until you

    without checking your email works.

You can either go to each individual PIMS and calendar to turn it off.  for example go to calendar > Options > Desktop > wireless sync.

Or you can go to Options > advanced options > Enterprise Options.  Once you're there, press and hold "Alt" key + cnfg, then you should be able to see the wireless sync options in there, just change no. "

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how can I change my signature & other texts on my outgoing emails sent from my mobile?

When I bought my Blackberry Torch 9800 (2 years), I managed (somehow) add text by giving my name, my 2 companies Web sites & so that it appears at the bottom of every outgoing e-mail.  At the same time, I've removed the text that says something like "message sent from my Blackberry".

Now I need to change the message (& also want to restore it's my Blackberry because it is what explains a brief answer when necessary.)

  • BlackBerry BBM Smartphones do not work with wireless network? !

    Hello

as indicated in the section above, the BBM service has worked with me when I connected to the wireless network

but before two days I tried to open the BBM messenger through the connection to the wifi, but it doesn't work and all the

other applications (e.g. windows live messenger, facebook,...) do not work!

    So what's the problem.. ?

Hmmm... I don't know your data plan, so I'm not sure what "I have no credits" really means. But if it means that, in this condition, BBM does not work via the data network of the carrier at that time here, then it won't work either via WiFi. BBM is a service of exclusive BB for BB only to pay customers... If your data plan has expired, suspended, or otherwise does not, then the exclusive services BB also won't work, regardless of your channel access attempt. Even with access, via WiFi, your data plan must be active with your operator to use the BB exclusive services.

I can't guess precisely why your friend could use BBM in the situation you described. Perhaps he lacked credits on its data plan at home, which then allowed BBM to function via WiFi from anywhere. I have no way of knowing anything to this topic for sure.

So, basically, I guess my question is this:

    (1) right now, access BBM through your carrier data network?

    (2) if so, can you also then, as good this time, access BBM through WiFi?

If your answer to question 1 is 'no', there should be no hope for you to access the BBM via WiFi.

If the answer to question 1 is 'yes', then you should be able to access BBM through WiFi... If you can't, then we some additional diagnosis to make.

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot-~ 5 minutes...
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If this isn't the case, then you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

N ° of BB devices lack a complete email client on them. Instead, they depend on the BIS service to provide messaging functionality. BIS is active when you have also listed Internet/personal email where you currently see only Enterprise. All services of BIS, are sent to the device via data carrier network... contact them are therefore the right approach to discover why their network is no longer to deliver to you the services that you pay for.

  • BlackBerry smartphone how to install the new language? == > french

By mistake I delete all my blackBerry Bold 9900 formulations.

    Rest than English.

I would add yet another language ==> french example...

In desktop software, I don't have in Applications: "Language and support of entry" to choose...

Hello and welcome to the community!

The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.
    • Use this KB to help you choose the good alternative OS to include the language you want:
      • Article ID: KB05305 Location of support for BlackBerry smartphones

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue. During the process, when it presents you with the screen of the things Application Loader to install on your device, make sure to develop options and select all items that relate to your desired language.

Once the operating system is loaded, you can proceed with the activation of the language you want and restoring your backup (on the device).

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

Hello and welcome to the community!

I suggest the following, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message to your BB to come...) Please wait for this before moving on to the next step):

    (3) restart to take batt

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your BIS lines for these accounts.

  • E-mail blackBerry Smartphones Outlook and BB not wireless sync. The BES.

    Hello

I recently changed from seven years of Windows Mobile to BB. I am on a BES and the changes I make on the prospects to your desktop or Blackberry (Bold) are not synchronization in both directions. It's frustrating. My COMPUTER helpdesk advised me to "clean up" the BB a couple of times and we did it. Also my manager office of BB is not configured for synchronization as by their advisor who they explain everything is wireless.

It of frustrating and makes me think how it was easy with Windows mobile. Help, please.

    Thank you.

Your BES admins should work on the issue of synchronization.

For the issue of the separate boxes of Messages, see this...

By default, BES email is made only in posts emails BIS icon/App are placed in their own icons, but they are still contained in the main Messages application. This is how it works by default. It is not redundant - rather, think that Messages like the Tote place, with the BIS independent icons being a filter, traction (from message) to them only messages that relate to them... but if you act on an e-mail (read, delete, etc.) in one, the change will be reflected in the other.

Your BES Admin can push an E-mail BES icon only to your device. This solution is free, but must be conducted at the level of the BES server and will affect all users on the BES server.

    • KB15003 How to create an icon on the BlackBerry smartphone to BlackBerry Enterprise Server messages

Or you can get the application to empower BES Inbox. This solution costs (per user), but does not require a change at the server level and affects only a single user.

Neither solution would do anything on Messages - will continue to contain what it contains today. All they will do is activate an additional icon on your home screen that is a filter for your BES emails only. You can hide or move the Messages icon/app out of the way, but beware - there are more that just the emails that arrive in Messages... it will come a day when you have a new message indicator and only by digging through Messages that you will be able to find this message.

Or, if you have the correct device OS version (I know for sure it works on 5.0.0.32 8 of the storm), the device gives you options for what to display in Messages and you can remove BIS email accounts.

I hope this helps explain how it all works!

    Good luck!
