dv3-1075us - problems of downgrading to XP

Hello

I'm trying to downgrade my Vista to XP - 32 64 dv3-1075us.  This model features an AMD Turion X 2 processor.  I downloaded the SATA drivers by ftp://ftp.hp.com/pub/softpaq/sp40001-40500/sp40046.exe and used nlite to integrate them into a windows xp sp2 installation disc.  When I try to use the drive I get a blue screen XP death with the STOP error: 0x0000007B.  I guess that I don't have the correct SATA drivers, but can't seem to find information on what might be the right driver.  Anyone can shed some light on this?

Thank you!

Hello

You must only by wake x 86 drivers Sata drivers with nLite.

Here are the Sata drivers for you. Just unRAR it drivers with Winrar.

Here you will find the file .doc with guide how to integrate this with Windows XP Sata driver. (You will need to open the Microsoft Office).

Here you will find the file with the same guide *.pdf . (You must open the Acrobat Reader software. Download link for this program here. Select your language and your system it.).

Also, remember that you use at least version of WinXP SP2 . If you have not got the version SP2 here you can download this service pack and here you have a guide to how to integrate this with XP file written by nLite.

In nLite, you can even burn your new XP CD with these changes.

All the drivers, you will find in the guide of Cheryl General Guide of Downgrade XP for HP Laptops_Part 3.

If you have problems make me know about it. I'll try to help you as quickly as possible.

  • Need help with this problem without downgrading from Vista to XP pro.

OK so I have a problem, but it is in a common category, it is a rare problem as given that everywhere I look I can't seem to find someone who has the same problem.

Question #1: Heres Alright so my question downgrade from vista 64 bit of the month last to XP pro SP2... Well, I'm going through the process of installation very well, wipe the hard drive, make new partion (or how ever spell you it) etc. It starts the formatting, and it installs everything seems to be fine. Now when it comes to the reboot screen it counts down it restarts correctly now, this is where the problem occurs. During the restart of the process rather than continue through the installation process which should be, where it says "Press any key to boot from the CD" soon after that instead of going into the installation process it says "disc read error" or something of the sort just underneath. Help, please!

Question #2 also now that I re installed vista I did all good also, erased the hard disk (even I tried to install XP on) just to make sure they had no data on this. Well now, during startup it asks if I want "a previous version of windows" or "Windows XP" as if I double started somehow. Vista loads still very well when I choose it however. If I managed to do an install own success of XP it should fix right?

    Thanks again.

    Hi Kevin112,

Thanks for posting. Follow these steps on your XP disk.

    1. place your Windows XP installation CD and start to her...
    2. Press any button to start the Windows installation (don't worry... we do not actually use the installer at this point)
    3. wait a few moments for the installation program starts, when you see repair an installation of Windows XP using the Recovery Console, and then press the R key
    4. wait until you see this screen, enter the number of your master installation. (Typically 1 to C:\Windows)
    5. press ENTER.
    6. If you are prompted to do so, enter your administrator password. If you don't have one, leave the field blank and press to enter.
    7. from the command prompt, type: chkdsk/r (note the space between chkdsk and / r)
    Allow it to complete undisturbed.
    8. remove the disc, then restart.

After completing this, then format it and try to reinstall XP again. As for your other question if completely format you your drive using XP you should not see the previous version of XP. The only reason you would see that it's the Vista BCD is located on a second hard drive in your computer. If this is the case and you want to do an install own format two readers please.

  • Automated problem with downgrade

    Hello

I have an ASA currently serving Anyconnect 2.4.x. I now want to test version 2.5.x, but whenever I log in, it automatically attempts to downgrade the latest version to the old on the SAA.

How can I achieve this, without braking the portion of the current 2.4.x version?

    Thank you

    Pato

Not sure if you have already found a solution to this, but I have just experienced this problem.  I found that if the VPNManifest.dat file is missing in C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Cisco\Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client, the bridge trying to downgrade the client.  Once I copied the file into the directory from another machine, it connects very well and does not downgrade.

  • Network of HP Pavilion G6-2244NR, usb, wireless problems after downgrade to Windows 7

HP Pavilion G6-2244NR network problems.  Okay, so I have a G6-2244NR I had to downgrade to Windows 7 Pro 64 (SP1), due to software compatibility issues.  Install was initially conducted on UEFI, GPT, wiped 8 and started from scratch with Legacy support MBR.  Installation went perfectly well.  However, I start in 7 and I get the network icon showing a red X.  I then go into Manager and note that there is no network listed devices.  Instead, I have 8 devices listed under "Other devices" with yellow exclamations by each of them.  This includes the Bluetooth controller, the network, a PCI device controller, Ethernet controller, SM Bus controller, two USB controllers and an "unknown device".  Bluetooth ID is ven_1814 & dev 3298, Ethernet ID PCI\VEN_10EC & DEV_8136 and so on.  I downloaded the drivers on the wazoo.  I think that I have updated the chipset but know not so straight updates chipset (catalyst 12.6).  Still no luck.  Whenever I have try and install what I think are good drivers I get the error "device works not ' on the LAN card.  Can anyone help?

I lowered my Satellite P300-212 from Vista to XP. I used an installation Win XP CD of Win professional XP including Service Pack 3.
Then I installed all the drivers from the Toshiba site.
    But I still have a yellow! in the Device Manager to the "Audio device on High Definition Bus". The details of this device show "HDAUDIO\FUNC_01 & VEN_1002 & DEV_AA01 & SUBSYS_00AA0100 & REV_1001\5 & 3B6F18F1 & 0 & 0001"

    Hello

    Restart the unit.

In addition you must update Win XP for the last State because there are many patches that are required under Win XP latest series laptop.

  • Satellite A305D-S6914 - some problems after downgrade to XP

Hello everyone. My company has recently bought this laptop for a customer. The computer came with Vista, but the client wanted XP. We have performed a clean installation of XP Pro and then stalked drivers from anywhere on the internet. Unfortunately, Toshiba support not directly from XP on this machine, and therefore, they have no official drivers to download. The machine works, but we have a few problems:

    1. application popup: \SystemRoot\System32\ativvaxx.dll failed to load

    2 details
    Product: Windows Operating System
    ID: 11
    Source: disk
    Version: 5.2.3790.1830

Message: Drive - the pilot detected a cable or controller error.

    _Explanation_
This event indicates that I/O failures occurred on the volume.

    _Cause_
    Possible causes include:
A hardware failure that prevents communication with a disk (for example, a loose cable, a loose disk controller card or a rupture of the cable).

    _User Action_
Do one or more of the following:
Check the status of your hardware for any failure (for example, a disk, controller or breaking of the cable card).
Check Event Viewer for additional events from the lower level storage drivers that may indicate the cause of the failure.
    Restart the computer.
Contact the Customer Service Microsoft and Support.

3 lately, svchost.exe has been scathing of the CPU at 100%. We have disabled the automatic updates, but the problem persists.

Basically what is happening is that the machine crashes under the CPU load and the customer is required to turn it off with the power button.
This is far from optimal, of course. I'm really at a loss for why this happens.

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Hello

I see the file ativvaxx.dll failed. I think that this file belongs to the ATI graphics driver package.
Possibly the ATI graphics driver that you have installed on this laptop causes this problem.

I recommend the other ATI driver search and recommend to reinstall or update!

Check some ATI drivers for European series on the Toshiba L300, maybe page pilot European you can solve this problem using the other drivers.

    Good luck

  • Problem: video downgrades the quality after exporting

    Hello world!

IM new and this is my first question on the forum.

Now, I created 10 succesful videos with Adobe Premiere Pro, editing Gopro videos 1080 p 60 fps.

My new video, I started using my phone Samsung Galaxy Neo S3 content.

The problem: after exporting my video, the quality of Gopro videos is like 480 p, but I still want the quality as the original, 1080 p 60 fps.

What I need to do / how can I solve this problem?

    Relevant information:

Laptop specs: Windows 10 960 M from NVIDIA, Intel core i7.

    Export format: H.264.

I tried already rendering in modes: Youtube, Vimeo 1080, Match source 1080HD high flow, I ticked the box "maximum render quality".

But nothing is done, the quality of the videos Gopro changed as 480 p after the export of the video.

    Please help me.

Although I have not any more wise, I found a solution on Youtube.

In my calendar, there is a yellow bar. I had to click "sequence" and then "render outside". Then the bar turned green.

Then I had to select the export mode: HD 1080 p 29.97 fps.

Then, as in my first picture, you can see "basic video settings".

You can scroll down here, and there is also a "fps rate" which was 30 (automatic).

I had to change at 60 frames per second. It is also recommended to check the box "made to maximum depth" in the audio and video tab.

The size of the file push double (200%), but the quality is good as it should.

I want to thank you for your efforts and help.

  • Problems with downgrade to 8.1 Win to Win 7 64 bit on Satellite S70 - A - 11 H

    Hello

My daughter already has a laptop Tosh with Win 7 64 bit that is several years old and has seen better days, so for Christmas I he bought a new laptop of S70 - A - 11 am with Win 8.1 pre-installed.
She hates. In fact she won't use the new laptop at all unless it has Win 7 on it.

For people who do not use a tablet or phone Windows phone and as desktop printing Windows 8 machine does not work for us.

Now I am working in a niche THIS role using many OS such as Microsoft Windows (XP, Win7, Server 2003, Server 2008) and Solaris, as well as a bit of RedHat.

Now, my experience of Win8 is equal to zero.
I thought it would be simple enough to install a copy at retail of Win7 with SP1 64 bit on this laptop.
Not so easy as it turns.

When I boot from the Windows 7 install DVD, the installer crashes as the Windows 7 logo begins to appear on the screen. If I try an installation with the latest driver safe mode which seems to load whenever the lock up is disk.sys.

So the question is how to install Win 7 64 bit SP1 on this notebook using a copy of Win7 retail?

Any ideas would be very appreciated.

    > If anyone else is interested the issue is caused by the use of left GPT on version 8.1.

Thank you very much for us to share this detail.
This could be very useful and interesting for others here in this community.

    Hello:

Here are the links to the drivers you need, except the wireless and bluetooth.

Download them from another PC, burn it to a CD or copy it to a USB key and use it to install the drivers on your new PC.

First, install the amd chipset driver and restart.  You want the first file on the Web page.

    http://support.AMD.com/en-us/download/chipset?OS=Windows 7-64

Then, install the beta amd catalyst driver and restart.

Click the network controller device. At the top of the network controller window, click the Details tab.

Now, you see a Description of the list system default list drop-down property.

Drop down on it and select the second element (Hardware ID).

Now, you see 3-4 lines of characters, the upper line starting with PCI\VEN.
