  It is my understanding that Google has withdrawn support for the BB of its mobile application platform. For example, you cannot use it more (note that to Google, not the decision of BB).

  Fortunately GMail accounts integrate very well into native management bis email, so you should still be able to use your GMail account on your device 9320.

  Hello. Yes, you can turn off your email account. In the main menu go to e-mail settings. The email accounts you have at the top. Highlight the one you want to turn off and display the menu. Select the filter option. Then you can dissable the option to receive; Tap Save. You will be asked to enter the password for the accounts. When you want to receive again, just reverse the process. Good luck.

  Since that day (May 27, 2015) I can't use one of my accounts Gmail w / T.Bird more. On the other (older) I had to put safety at 'low' or something today via the web interface of Gmail. Then he worked kind of new (AddressBook adds now no longer works, but that is another problem).

  Do you mean that you want to open your Gmail account in Firefox for Android instead of the Gmail app? I think this could work, but it seems that the performance is poor on your device...

  When you try to reinstall mail accounts, you get any kind of error message? Do you use ICloud? If you receive a message that this account already exists, you may need to disable the first account the ICloud.

  Hi all

  New to the forum so if I during the stage, the mark please let me know!

  I have a 9790 "BOLD" from BB. Every night I have disable all connections (broadband, network, bluetooth, NFC) and turn off my phone.  I have my phone also locked so no one can use it without my password. There, a bit OTT on the side of the safety of things, but that's me.

  My problem is that even if my BB is disconnected from any network, etc., a BB IMAP access my gmail UK e-mail account! I know this cos when I check the offending IP address belongs too had a Blackberry, but not only that, it is the same IP that my BB uses when it is actually running.

  I think that someone accessing my e-mail account with a BB even though I keep changing my password by e-mail. When I check the email from one of the other BB account activity in the household (which is also off all night) there is NO IMAP access activity on their e-mail account.

  Can someone please help me cos it's driving me crazy!

  I hope that you already have this sorted... but just in case.

  Technically, your BB itself is not involved in the process of verification of your e-mail server for new items. On the contrary, BBs use the BIS service, hosted by carriers/RIM, as an intermediary between BBs and your mail servers. Therefore, it is the BIS service that checks your email service, and generate the newspapers you see. BIS conscientiously will check the server e-mail every 15 minutes, regardless of the case your BB is active or not.

  I am very dependent on my phone for his BIS service but currently I can't use it, my 9810 can be used for calls and texts but nothing that is the internet can be done.

  In the browser box, it shows a full signal indicator and a 3G but no symbol of blackberry and even the day I got it he showed indicated above and the blackberry symbol but still no internet.

  I currently have no entry for my host routing and I have no service books is there someone who can help me get BIS (Blackberry Internet Service)

• BlackBerry Curve 8330 Smartphone: I can't make outgoing calls to some phone numbers. Help!

  I recently bought the Curve 8330 from Sprint (about 3 months ago).  It worked fine for a few months, but now I can't make outgoing calls to some phone numbers.  It is almost constant.  I have signal strength strong (1XEV bars full).  Then when I make an outgoing call from the phone book or just manually enter the number, the call disconnects after a ring or a few rings.  Most of the time it just says: "disconnected" even though I didn't touch any button.  I tried to remove the battery for a few minutes, as well as the SD card, but it does not solve the problem.  I am very frustrated.  I'm technologically challenged and would like if someone could help me.

  I had a Curve 9360 and its been stolen about a month ago... I am currently borrow my friends Blackberry...

  The thief who stole my phone is currently using the blackberry... I know because when I send a message through PIN to a phone without BIS... It does not say "D" next to the message... However, to the phone that was stolen, says a "D" for delivered next to the PIN message...

  I have already mentioned the phone stolen from the police, they have evidance of the person... They just cannot identify the person

• I can't access my email account. I asked for help, and did what was asked, but I get nowhere.

  My hotmail account has been blocked because the guys in charge thought that someone was trying to use my hotmail account.  In fact, it was me using my hotmail since I - Pad.  In any case, I tried to sign up with another e-mail account in order to receive the special one time code, but I did not have a chance.  Now, I am desperate because I have no access to my old emails or one of my contacts list.  It lasts for a week now and I'm trying to get some action.

  When I log in with a different account, the screen goes haywire, jump from a blank screen to another saying that it is waiting for this or that, but really nothing happens.
