• BlackBerry Smartphones LED keeps flashing, even when there is no new notification

  The LED on my BlackBerry keeps flashing and I can't work out why. I have no new emails, messages, Facebook notifications, Twitter mentions, appointments/calendar of events and the LED does not flash for new articles in TIME magazine app in any way. None of the other applications has nothing to tell me of one.

  I've updated the OS for a long time, so I don't see that being the cause of the problem, which means that I can't work on why the led continues to blink, unless my BlackBerry is broken.

  Has anyone else had this problem?

  Hi sorry it took me so long to answer, I read the email on my BB and then forgot about it. I discovered that it is the application that I use for Twitter, which has been the cause, whenever a new tweet came in my editing it would be flash alert me and sometimes it seems to go a little crazy himself and not stop blinking, but whatever it takes, it's for me to close the application.

  Notification LED will stop after 15 minutes. For example a missed call is notified for 15 minutes, then the LED no longer flashes.

  Are there plans to add a setting in the settings to allow a longer period, including the option for always?

  Sometimes, when I get new e-mails my LED flashes.

  Someone told me that the flashing of the LED goes away after

  If your phone is correctly configured with the correct profiles and the LED does not flash

  Once defined, I think you have three options.

  (1) the device OS

  (2) return the default phone and get another.

  (3) try the free trial of BB alerts to see if this correction is the problem.

  Sorry my bad. This feature has not yet been integrated with Twitter for Blackberry. Only you can check and see who followed you through the list of the follower or you can embed the email associated with your Twitter on your Blackberry so that e-mail notifications will be pushed to your phone.

  Does anyone know how to disable message windows pop-up windows when you receive an e-mail message, I find it annoying when working with other functions?  This is the window that says "New email of...» "then askes if you want to remove open or reject the message.  I don't like the red indicators on the icons showing unread messages, I would leave this notification, however, to remove the pop-up window.  Thank you in advance...

  This isn't a normal function of the BlackBerry. You have a third-party program loaded as "peekawho" or something that could do?

  some time yesterday, I stopped receiving vibe & audio notifications for everything. calls, Y! M, text. everything. I tried all the profiles. I changed my profile in the Advanced menu options, too. Not the speaker, because the music is not yet clear.

  Notification LED still works. A I mess something up? Or is there something I'm missing here?

  I receive all notifications of facebook on my blackberry emails however not on my pc.  How can I stop this.  This only started when I made an update of the week last to 6.0

  IN your Facebook account on your PC, ensure that notifications by e-mail of the messages on the wall, etc. are turned off.
  In the Facebook for BlackBerry app, click Options and uncheck the option of integration of message.

  Tips to clear the message unread... try them in the order.

  If you have a new icon rogue Message on your home screen, or a negative number (-1), one of these solutions could erase or reset:

  Try these options:
  * Hard Reset BlackBerry now ALT CAP (right Shift key) and DEL (or with the BlackBerry power, remove the battery and reinsert the battery)
  Messages > saved Messages
  Messages > view folders, check each folder (calls, SMS and MMS, and boxes, saved missed boxes, browser, phone logs etc.)
  * Scroll at the top of the folder, on the title menu, click or tap to MARK PRIOR OPEN date
  Change your theme and see if it persists and return to your desired theme. (Options > theme > select.)
  * Clean and reload your OS.

  I got my flashlight just less than a week with no problems... until this morning.

  When I got it out of the box flashed the light green for emails, and blue for the BBM, which was up to today - now it flashes red. I appreciate, it's a minor annoyance, but someone has an idea what is going and it can be fixed?

  The native color of LED for incoming messages should be red.  Looks like you may have a 3rd party app on your BlackBerry that changes the color of the LED.  Is this correct?

  Recently, I replaced my Blackberry Curve with a broken trackball, and since a few days the replacement works fine, but during the past of that day the LED has stopped flashing when I get any kind of message.   I had this same problem! I realized it was because I put it to night mode every time I plugged in, but then he bypassed while it was still plugged. I had to go to the clock app and say leave the bedside mode when it has been disconnected.  This fixed my issue! If all goes well, it helps you!

  I have a message notification on my phone toolbar that will not go away. Someone knows why?

  I have no unread emails, or texts, or missed calls. I tried to restart, holding the battery etc, the remains of message indicator and I can't delete it...

  While on your home screen, click the Messages icon and then press the menu key and select the display folder.  99% of all messages you will get in your Notifications bar will be in one of these folders.  Not sure where this message then comes searching through each folder until find you it.  Tedious, Yes.  Efficient, Yes.
