    Hello

Yes, if they are attached to an e-mail.
For those of you that is stored on your Blackberry, you must use a third-party software.

In addition, if you have a very recent portable device OS (4.3 or 4.5), there a software that can do the same thing as the third-party software.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Software 4.7 for Curve 8830

I've been a BB user for 2 days from receipt of my phone Friday. My phone came with BlackBerry Desktop 4.5 and I initially installed this version. Yesterday, being a surfer I checked for updated software and found there was a 4.7 version, I downloaded, installed in my office and then connected my phone. It seems to have upgraded without problem, but now I have a problem with mail and it's bugging me.

I have several accounts set up on the phone, each of which has an individual icon, but I get is no longer the * for the notification on these only in the 'Messages' folder, which by the way, I find extremely annoying icon. (Probably just me).

Why I don't get notification * on each account? Is this a known issue? I don't see anything else posted here. Maybe play with the new phone that I turned it off?

Take out the battery of your device and keep it for 30 sec. Then put them together. Hope the problem will be over.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Exchange Bluetooth Nokia for Blackberry

    Hi all

I'm having a problem to transfer files via bluetooth from my previous nokia to my new blackberry curve 8520, I have two devices paired and also changed the parameters of 'trust' in my blackberry but am still not able to receive files from my BB.

"There is always the same"Unable to connect"error even if I go on the media menu I select: receive files of blutooth.

    could someone please help

    Thank you

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

    See this KB:

    • KB05409 Transfer a file using Bluetooth technology between two BlackBerry smartphones

Replace the instructions appropriate for your other device instead of the transmitter unit KB section in the KB. Do not jump 'BT help to receive' step on the BB receiver... nothing will transfer if you do.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry smartphones can not unlock 8330 curve

I use a security code on my BB Curve 8330.  I tried to synchronize media files today through the desktop (win XP) USB interface and has been invited to enter a password.  I used my security code and password account BB, neither worked.  I unplugged the USB cable and now cannot unlock the device by using the keyboard.  Twice I have re-set the device (battery removed), and we invited to enter the word "blackberry" I did.  When you are prompted to unlock the device, I try to enter my code, but instead of the usual displays of * (standard characters when you type a password), I see on the screen the characters I entered.  I use a 4-digit number for my unlock code, but when I get in I see the corresponding value of QWERTY (eg.  type '2' see 'e' on the screen)

Now I have 9 of 10 attempts and don't want to lose my data.  How can I get this think unblocked?

    1. While you still can, on your BlackBerry smartphone, change the password to something very simple, alpha characters only, not numbers, without capital letters. To do this before you lose all your data. Enter the incorrect password ten times will wipe your device of all data, contacts, calendar, etc.

    2. you probably think that you have a number or a capital letter in your password, and you don't really have.

for example, if you think your password is "w3rs", try alpha correspondent character and the PW would be "wers".

You never noticed the error, because the entry hidden on the password.

    Good luck.

    Hello

I have recently supported a Blackberry Curve 8520 - I noticed that, once I had connected to my PC via Blackberry Desktop Manager, the icon for the keyboard lock has been removed from the menu.  I looked in the obvious places in the Options to try to restore the icon but can't see anywhere that allow me to ths.  I was also looking for hidden objects, but nothing seems more to be hidden.

Is it possible to restore the icon?

    Thank you all.

You may update the software? The lock has changed in the latest versions of the software in all areas for the devices.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones cant download Facebook for BB - 8520 Curve

    Hello!

I have a BB 8520 Curve, I need a little help please. I downloaded FB for the curve, but it does not work I don't have internet on my phone, so I only use it with wifi. I found a FB is for this option (at least what I understood), version, I think than 1.5. But when I downloaded it, it said that my phone doesn't have this option... How could I download a version that works? Thanks in advance!

    Hello

Unfortunately without the BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS), you will not be able to use the Facebook for BlackBerry app, or any other application requiring BIS, on your device.  Your only method to access Facebook on your BlackBerry, if you use only wifi is to access the Facebook mobile site at m.facebook.com.

Sorry, the news is not positive, but at least you can use the WAP browser to view the mobile site.

  • Contacts from blackBerry Smartphones Upload in Excel for BB Curve-

Help - I got a new pc and new bb at the same time - I downloaded my contacts in excel via an older version of the bb desktop mgr-now can't know how do to download excel contact in the curve via Desktop Manager - ideas?

    Thank you

You can import excel to Outlook, for a single method, and synchronize your Outlook file using the BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

Another is to export the Excel file to an ASCII text file and then import it directly (without Outlook) using the Desktop Manager.
