  Total newbie BB... crossed here for Windows Mobile (which I loved, but my company asked me to pass).  My problem is that my BES mail and personal mail are mixed in a single program.  There is a separate program for my personal mail only, but not for my BES mail only program.  I called tech TMOB BB last night and they said that on the 8900, that this can not be changed, which means that rather than having my mail mixed between them, I prefer not to have my personal e-mail on the phone.  It wasn't a problem with Mail WM with active sync... any ideas?  Thank you

  The main folder Messages will get all messages and messages.

  You can use a third-party application called Empower BES Inbox to move all your work THAT BES messages to a separate folder icon.

  You can't remvove the BIS staff mail in the main messages folder.

I really enjoyed having the option to delete totally or just on my handheld and then discovered the mail later on my pc.

  When I delete a mail from my BB, now, it just removes it from my device and the leash on the server without the option to remove it so. Can you please help me get this option back?

  I have this problem that I'm trying to work around. On my yahoo mail, I've created rules for certain categories of emails coming. These rules to move messages that meet the criteria for folders that I created.

  Now I have yahoo mail configured on my blackbery device but not to receive emails from other folders. All I get is emails that appear in my main Inbox folder.

  Through the settings on my phone and can't find an option or a setting that can help me solve this problem.

  Ideas anyone?

  using BIS, it's the processing order:
  1 your Y! mail server receives e-mails
  2 your Y! mail server applies the rules
  3 your Y! mail server sends messages from the Inbox to your server of BIS
  4 your BIS server sends the emails to your BlackBerry smartphone

  Therefore, there is no way to do what you want using Yahoo!.

  I can suggest you see if it is possible to have the rules applied subsequently (I don't think it's possible with the electronic mail of Yahoo!).

  The default calendar is the calendar of the device, items synced to it will not correctly synchronize on the desktop.

  (6) once successful, check the calendar of primary e-mail and make sure that all records are there.

  (7) run synchronization for each category separately until you have all the correct data on the BB.

  If you are not on a corporate account BlackBerry Enterprise Service (BES), you don't want to activation.

  You probably have a personal account to BlackBerry Internet Service (BIS). Do you have THE BlackBerry data on your rate plan? If this is not the case, call them and get it. When you do this, an icon for the configuration of the personal e-mail with appear on your device.

  It all depends on WHERE the nokia phone contacts are located in the phone's memory?

  So, if Nokia phone has a micro usb port (does?) use Desktop Manager > switch device Wizard.

  If this isn't the case, then you might need to find the forum a users Nokia to determine how you can export contacts from nokia on your computer in the form of an ASCII text file so that you can import this file into Outlook via BlackBerry Desktop Manager.

  I recently bought a Blackberry Storm 2, and I use Entourage 2008 and installed the Blackberry Desktop Manager. I had a few problems just getting up and running together. But now that's happening, everything seems to work fine schedule and even create events on the device. When I sync appear in Entourage, although they do not have a category.

  Not on our smartphone BlackBerry you can not copy all Contacts from a SIM card at the same time, if you want to copy you make one because the BlackBerry address book is much more robust it will be a different arrangement with a resource person and several areas of information (phone cell phone, work phone, home phone, e-mail address, etc.) while the SIM card SIM card allows only one entry per phone number.
