BlackBerry Smartphones prefer down

Hello

I just bought a Blackberry Torch for Rogers today. This is great, except for one thing: it auto-parchemins me at the bottom incredibly frequently. Generally enabled using the trackpad, although it always occurs when only using the touch screen, I'll try to scroll to the top of, say, the Home Menu. But it will automatically bring me down. I'll try to return to the top, but it will bring me down again. It won't let me scroll to the top, emphasizing the fact that I scroll down over and over and over and over again. It is not only the menu screen.

It's Web sites. It's twitter. I can push the 't' key all I want to take me to the top, she immediately takes back me down. It is almost impossible to do anything. I can't even edit a post without it my cursor at the end of the scrolling message. Try to select 'Mobile' instead of 'Work' in the menu change the Contact is almost impossible - it makes me scroll down, too.

I tried to remove the battery and put it back. I tried to plug it into Desktop Manager to back up and then see if there are updates.

Nothing.

Please, please tell me how to solve this problem, because it is on my nerves!

It seems that you have a part damaged in your touchscreen sensor, refer to your operator.

One idea is to see if it may be a battery drop.

Place a piece of paper against the battery folded at the end of the pile in front of the battery contacts.

Where are the contacts of the battery on the 9720, upstairs or downstairs? Place the piece of paper folded at the opposite end. See this example.

  • Themes for blackBerry Smartphones run down battery

Can someone please shed some light on this? It seems to be a common occurrence that the addition of topics drains your battery. I added 4, in addition to the original, and my battery does not last half a day now. What is the cause? We are forced to have only installed both 1. Will we have to redownload and do battery pull everyitme we want to change the theme?

It is because the Plazmic version that is currently available for making themes is still in beta mode, which means that there are still some bugs to fix.  It is a potential bug.  If you want to be sure, consider to wait for the official release of Plazmic will be out before downloading more themes.

    Hello world

I get a lot of programs recently most of my contacts.

    and these BC says:

We need our active users to re - send this message to everyone on your contact list in order to confirm our active users who use BlackBerry Messenger, if you do not send this message to all your BlackBerry Messenger contacts, then your account will remain inactive with result in losing all of your contacts. »

    My Questions?

    are these true messeges?

will I lose my contacts so I didn't send it?

    and thank you

No, it's a silly joke from one of your contacts.

Personally, I recommend you delete and remove your BlackBerry Messenger contact to achieve this.

Basically, you're on the tip of tail of a message of 3-4 months floating around, and you would have seen that had you searched this site before posting.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones built in storage media errors, not now restart...

During the last two weeks, I received several cases where I received

the following error message: "built in storage not accessible due to a detected errors. You want to repair? »

I said yes and he fixed the problem.  Yesterday, I sent a BBM message and the phone reset... on suddenly it reboot only gets 3/4 of the way through the startup process (stops under the 1 'r' in the Blackberry logo).

I tried a multitude of things I've seen on many forums, including let it stand all night with the battery, try to start in safe mode (which I never could get it to do).  This morning, it does the same thing.  I found a post that suggested to reformat the internal memory, which I should have done when I had questions.

Is it possible to get this reformatted internal memory if the phone does not start?  Any suggestions would be helpful.  I will ask a new phone of my business, but know that I won't get it until tomorrow... so I'm willing to try anything to make it work again (today).

P.S. Yes, I'm one of those guys who will lead to 10 miles around traffic stopped, just to keep moving! ;-)

    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Congratulations! Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Hello

    Thanks for the confirmation!

Regarding your question, there is already a Knowledge Base article that is associated with this error:

In my opinion # Workaround seems to be a little hard.  So I prefer you should first try to reinstall the BlackBerry Messenger application and see if it helps with your current problem.

To make your homescreen go to Options > device > application > locate and delete BlackBerry Messenger from this list.

Deleted once perform a battery pull reboot by removing the battery while your device is turned on, wait a min. and then reinsert this return.

Finally, after the reboot, use your BlackBerry browser and go to www.blackberry.com/bbmdownload and download the most recent version available. After installation, restart your device once more, connecting with your BlackBerry ID and check if you are able to send BBM to one of these devices.

Please try it and let us know of your progress.

  • Java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError blackBerry Smartphones

    I have a Bold 9900 using 7.1.0.714 platform 5.1.0.532.

Facebook does not work because instead, I get an untrapped exception: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError.

I need help to solve this problem please

Hello and welcome to the community!

There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode

There may be a code updated to the value of the carrier - check out them through this Portal:

The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type "lglg". (You won't see anything as you type). This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably a lot of pages) until you see a line that says "eception execption. Click on this line. The application name will be in the info. Alternative methods to implement the newspapers are in this KB:

    • KB05349 How to activate, view, and extract the the event logs on a BlackBerry smartphone

The other method is to remove the apps one at a time, wait a while between the two (I usually recommend a week), until the problem stops... revealing the offending application. Yet another method is to recharge the BB OS itself, leaving little time between the addition of other applications on the BB in order to be able to determine exactly what is the cause.

Good luck and let us know!
