BlackBerry Smartphones Re: Emails are more pushed to my 8330

Emails are more driven to my 8330 unless I have it turned off the first. When I power it back up, I get my emails as before. Not sure whether something has changed one another previous version download the latest version of the Desktop software manager.

With the BlackBerry device under voltage, remove the battery for a minute, and then reinsert the battery to restart.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones only emails sent to one of my BIS addresses are the transmission of my BlackBerry Curve 8330

I had my first Sprint BlackBerry Monday last and more later added an e-mail address BlackBerry and three other accounts (account of 1 year aol, the other two of my own Web site servers), and everything worked very well. Then one day there I put filters on the AOL account to stop some of the bulletins and specific emails of will and clutter up my BlackBerry. Now, none of my emails are going through to BlackBerry except those I send myself to one registered email accounts.

I've removed the filters, return Service directories and re-recorded the device through the Table of accommodation, but nothing has worked. I only put in place filters to search for e-mail addresses and forward them not the BlackBerry, but it seems to be all filtering, and I can't cancel the behavior.

Any ideas on how to solve this problem?

I just wanted to know that I finally understood the problem. I had inadvertently turned on the firewall under Options-> security settings for blocking the BIS server. All is well now.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones read emails on Blackberry are not marked as read in GMail

    Hi all

I just upgraded to the 9650 the 8530 and after serious problems finally got so that I could read my emails.

The problem I have now is that on one of my gmail accounts does not seem to recognize when I read an email via my blackberry. Previously on my 8530 (and before that, the 8330), seconds after that I read an email on my blackberry, it'll show such as read on the gmail website.

Either way, I don't have this problem with my second g-mail account.

Thank you in advance for your help!

BIS has been receiving a lot of updates for GMail... even a plugin on the BB which is supposed to improve the functionality even further. Unfortunately, I chose to use GMail for my BB, so I don't have direct experience with integrated BIS GMail how would work. But, I would say that, like all things financial, past not a good indicator of what it now takes performance would give any changes that have been for GMail via BIS. ;-)

It is quite possible that we use 'old BIS' and the other is using 'new BIS' - withdrawal and return duct BIS is required to receive the new "ENCORE" features. But I worry about who's who in your case - and I fear even that I recently saw so many problems with that (and Yahoo as well). If you're brave, you can remove both of the BIS (and, indeed, all the others you have here) and then wait a while... for more simplicity, I say an hour. Then re - integrate them both and see what happens... at least, in this way, they both would be on the latest version of BIS and the functionality would be the same thing (with, of course, the risk being that neither works the way you want!).

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Gmail emails and Outlook will same Inbox on my BlackBerry

Hi, I'm new in the world of the BlackBerry. I just got a Curve 8330 for my work. I have BES (I think) implemented so sync with my outlook and works very well. I also created my gmail account to my BlackBerry BIS start-up (I think) and the operation of the BlackBerry Gmail plugin. It works fine, I get my Gmail emails, just as I thought. He put an icon on my main menu through which I can access my Gmail account. But Gmail messages also appear when I click on the normal icon to access my e-mail from work (synchronized with Outlook). Is it possible to separate my Gmail messages so that I can see them only when I click the Gmail icon?

    Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

By default, BES email is made only in posts emails BIS icon/App are placed in their own icons, but they are still contained in the main Messages application. This is how it works by default. It is not redundant - rather, think that Messages like the Tote place, with the BIS independent icons being a filter, traction (from message) to them only messages that relate to them... but if you act on an e-mail (read, delete, etc.) in one, the change will be reflected in the other.

Your BES Admin can push an E-mail BES icon only to your device. This solution is free, but must be conducted at the level of the BES server and will affect all users on the BES server.

Or you can get the application to empower BES Inbox. This solution costs (per user), but does not require a change at the server level and affects only a single user.

Neither solution would do anything on Messages - will continue to contain what it contains today. All they will do is activate an additional icon on your home screen that is a filter for your BES emails only. You can hide or move the Messages icon/app out of the way, but beware - there are more that just the emails that arrive in Messages... it will come a day when you have a new message indicator and only by digging through Messages that you will be able to find this message.

I hope this helps explain how it all works!

  • BlackBerry smartphones address email and password

My Blackberry Torch was stolen recently.  Now that I got my new camera and everything seemed to work OK.  I received emails addressed to it and who is "pushed".  I tried to download an app and had my Blackberry ID need I entered.  She would not accept my new password - so I asked to reset - but the email they were supposed to be sent to my blackberry address did not!  Does anyone have ideas, what can I do now?

Oh okay Ouch, the using the blackberry.net email account is not good. These emails cannot be found or read any where, but on the BlackBerry smartphone.

Personally, I never recommend using blackberry.net for this main reason e-mail accounts.

My best suggestion is to get a gmail or yahoo account for free and create a whole new BlackberryID.

Then, call your mobile operator Orange and ask them to bring this problem to RIM level two level tech support and get your old account merged or moved to the new BlackBerryID.

Yes, it's complicated. But it's the only way I see possible... all this because of the password reset. Yuck, indeed.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones, sending emails

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (steps 1 and 2, each should result in a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a 'registration' message reach your Messages application

    2) Remove and return Service books (pre-BB10 only devices)

    • KB05000 Remove the maintenance book for the BlackBerry Internet Service email account in the BlackBerry smartphone
    • If you do not have access CMIME, continue deleting
    • KB02830 Send the directories for the BlackBerry Internet Service
    • Please wait "the Activation' Messages, one per already configured e-mail account, arrive in your Messages. If you have not already configured email accounts, please wait 1 hour.

    3) restart

    • Pre-BB10 ONLY devices. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes.
    • Peripheral BB10. Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process. IF this fails, you can try the method of battery-pull above, but it is normally NOT recommended unless nothing else works.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts. Otherwise, you should contact your mobile provider for formal support.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Hub emails arrive, then remove themselves?

I come from a Curve 9300 so this Priv is totally alien to me.

As I opened the box, the new update pushed to the phone. So, I'm aware of the release.

I'm working today at my office, I see mails incoming on the Priv and my Outlook on my desktop PC, but when I check the Priv he says my Inbox is empty and I don't have e-mail.  For my tests of this, I have not read the emails on my desk or on my phone. Nothing has been filed. Just sat and looked at the screen.

I get back every 5 minutes and emails are still on my phone for 2 to 5 minutes.

I do not use company, we are a company of 3 people, I'm the only BB.

I tried with my port IMAP and POP3 port numbers for our work email, and still nothing is done, it doesn't.

I'm not sure why this is happening. I don't know that I did something wrong

Not a genius, just a computer scientist who has seen this before.

They show that read because of the issue with 2 elements trying to access the account

Outlook may have items stored on the e-mail server for X days. Then it should work

Can anyone help?

We had a problem with our email on Wednesday, it is now sorted and the passwords have not been changed.

I tried the hard reset, tried to set up online service, free books works and still will not accept the good user name and the password.  It's driving me crazy!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones 9720 email synchronization

I just had to replace my 9720 that the previous "collapsed".

All emails that I always had in my Inbox on my old camera disappeared (new emails are received)

Can someone help me get back the previous emails on the new device

    Thank you very much

I didn't actually remember any bis where old emails could be delivered to the device... it's rather, I understand that he was always with legacy/BIS only devices new emails from the duration of activation of the device will be delivered to the device. It was never intended to reproduce all the mailbox unit... on the contrary, the intention was that the device is an auxiliary device to your mail server, that contains only a subset of that contains your server.

The ability to push the old emails to a device inherited from BB was, if I remember, exclusively for guests of BES-level and even in this case limited to the amount of the "before population" which has been supported (14 days, I remember well). Even the files were only replicable by BES, not through BIS.

I can wrong... but that's how I remember the services to operate. The suggestion of moving items in the real Inbox on a separate folder, and then back to the Inbox may well have merit... and might be worth trying.

The ability to replicate totally a mailbox mail server, including files and elements of 'old', is a function of the latest peripheral BB10 and software, but unfortunately no BIS services/legacy devices.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry smartphones receive emails

I just got my Curve 8310 replaced and I now put in it until the selected capture e-mails from my computer for the first time.  I've linked to my Bellsouth account successfully, he says, but no emails come through.  I have sent test e-mails that should have passed through the filters that I put in place, but nothing.  I don't know even where emails are supposed to appear on the BB.  What have I done wrong?

Thanks for the advice, but this one actually proved to be a problem with AT & T.  It seems they had mistakely left me on the same "data plan" that I had when I had a HP 6515 PDA, a plan which, according to them, will not work with a BlackBerry.  So I'm glad that I have broke down and called them.  If I didn't, I could have spent the rest of my life trying to understand this one!  But that's all it took, and I am now happy, send and receive e-mails.  Thanks again for trying to help.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Album artwork are the same for all the songs

I have a bb bold 9780. I recently added a folder to the top 40 uk... and I guess that each song has its own pocket... but in my case, my bb is showing a cover of a song from this record to all the songs... even when I download songs of songlover.pk every song has its own cover art, but it will show a unique work for many songs downloaded from this site... I noticed that it is caused due to the name of the folder, for example. A folder named "single" has 2-3 songs will show an illustration of common album... Please help me...

    Hey parampramit,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

    Thanks for the question.

We are aware of this problem, this problem is solved by using BlackBerry Device Software 7.0.  However, this version of the software is not available for the BlackBerry Bold 9780 smartphone.

In the meantime, follow these steps and test the cover of the album:

    1. In iTunes or Windows Media Player, select this option to change the albums
    2. Enter the correct Album for each album artist
    3. Transfer the songs to your BlackBerry smartphone.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

    See you soon.
