BlackBerry Smartphones Roxio reload

I accidentally deleted the roxio media player my 8310.  I can't view the videos. How can I recharge it?

I guess you mean the Roxio media manager which is located in the Desktop software you run on your PC.

Don't I have that right? If yes you can get it at the top of the page under the gray tab that says software. I'll give you the link, but you really need to check the services up there.

I hope this helps, if I understand you do me know.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Roxio Manager (error message 1721)

    Model "BOLD"

I have a few problems when installing the Desktop Manager v4.6 on Windows XP/SP3. I get the error message 1721 (pkg install incorrect) during installation even if the software finished installing. Later when I try to run Media Manager it crashes and almost crashes my computer. I downloaded a new version of the RIM website, UN-installed and made sure that the files have been removed and restarted the computer, but the same error.

Does anyone have feedback on how to solve this problem.

    Thank you.

Hi and welcome to the forums!

I suggest you reinstall the Office Manager and Roxio

I would suggest that you use the desktop clean uninstall the program.

and the Roxio own uninstall program to remove everything in the registry

and system folders. You can then create own versions of both:

    Hello

I knew this may have been posted before, but we have tried all the solutions for other messages about this problem on this forum and on several other forums found by searching on google.

Lenovo Thinkpad x 200-Windows XP - Manager of office 4.3 to 4.7 (all tested!)

All versions to bring up the same error when executing media manager in the Start Menu and via Desktop Manager.

We get the Roxio Media Manager start screen, then the runtime error window appears (see below)

We tried installed all versions (4.3, 4.5, 4.6, & 4.7) on 3 different computers and they all bring up the same error.

    Thank you

    You are welcome

I get rid of Roxio Media Manager on my computer, and there is no headache more.

I transfer music, photos and videos from and to the blackberry micro sd card as I do with a flash drive.

It is simple and very practical.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Roxio Media Manager doesn't work

So I installed the software that came with my blackberry curve 8330.  I open the Desktop Manager and try to open the Media Manager and I get a popup that says the following:

    [quote] The certificate file is missing or damaged.  Please re - install. {[/ quote]}

And will not let me add music to my blackberry so I can listen to on the bus.  This is a new installation of the software from the cd that came with my crackberry, so unless it is damaged on the cd, I don't see how it can be corrupted.

Help, please.  I just want to put my music on my phone.

I take this, I was not quite awake this morning, and I forgot that you can access your press card while the blackberry is connected to the PC.

I unplugged and all is well.  So, even if I can't get Roxio Media Manager to work, I discovered a workaround solution.  Build the list of playback in Windows Media Player and save it.  BlackBerry Media Sync allows you to synchronize the playlist that you created.  It works as well.  You will always be able to use the DRMs, however.

    Hey guanche01,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

Your message about the email, I checked the installation program does not work.  To resolve this problem, you will need to do a clean reload of software.

Do you have a COMPUTER on the BlackBerry policy?  It is located under Options > Security > security state information.

If you do, you must perform a factory reset before checking for an update.

To perform a factory reset follow method 4 in this article: www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB14202

Once finished, try to own the software of the device reloading.

Let me know if you encounter any problems.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Roxio crashes

When I connect my Pearl to my computer and call the Media Desktop Manager... a "roxio for blackberry" screen appears and remains frozen on my desk... forever! The only way to get rid of it is by restarting. This is part of a procedure to download a rington. Sometimes it works, but mostly it doesn't.

Fix. Many people have problems with the Media Manager. I use the mass storage mode to move files to/from my BlackBerry. You can also download the Desktop Manager that does not come with the Media Manager.

  • BlackBerry smartphone Roxio Creator 2009 and Desktop 4.7

I just reinstalled Vista 32 on my pc.  I installed Roxio Creator 2009 also just, and I have to reinstall my Blackberry Desktop software.  I see that the latest version is 4.7 and it is available in two flavors: with and without Roxio Media Manager.

I suspect that, because I have the latest version of Roxio, I don't want the Blackberry Desktop Manager Media Manager.  If I load both, I could create conflicts or other problems.  Can I rely on Roxio Creator 2009 and load the Desktop without Roxio Media Manager 4.7?

I like to keep my pc as clean as possible.  Software is not fun.

    Hello Stecyk,

You are actually right, if you were to install other software Roxio Media Manager installed, it will be the cause of conflicts or break applications.

If you don't want to use the Media Manager, you can always turn on your BlackBerry mass storage mode and drag and drop files via my computer.

    Turn on mass storage mode:

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how reload BB MAPS

I have a BB storm II, and after having a software updagrade my maps is no longer the case showing. So I decided to download from blackberry.com/maps.  Once the download is complete for Blackberry maps Installer (and this adds ons under applications, however, there is no icon / app to run the Blackberry maps Installer, and I deleted the maps blackberry app because I thought it would be recharged from the procedure above.) But it was not. SO the question is how can I relaod Blackberry Maps App? or how to run the installer of Blackberry maps and it will reload the MAPS app?

I am also limited to BES.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

How to reinstall BBMaps is via the desktop software. Launch, attach and use the Application Loader section (it may be called something else, depending on the version of the Desktop software you have). That will present a list of applications available... Put a check mark of selection at the entrance for BBMaps and apply the selection and it will be installed.

    Good luck!

    Kind regards

    Rik

    Rik, greetings.

If your BlackBerry is back and running, just different, huh?

It seems that, to return to the height your browser, you will need to return service directories.

On your BlackBerry device, go to:

    1. options > advanced > host Routing Table > Menu > register.

2 send your service from your carrier's BIS site books:
    Of your handheld: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB15402

Go to the Personal Email Set Up icon and sign. Then under help!, select Service books and select send service books.

    Your desktop PC: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02830
North American carriers - scroll down to select your carrier
Carriers worldwide - find your operator from the list

    3. with the BlackBerry device powered time, remove battery for a few seconds and then reinsert the battery to restart. This restart, even if you have already done this, is often necessary to install the service books.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones Roxio Media Manager installation problem

My Desktop Manager recently updated itself to the version 5.   Twelve Shortlly I started to get the error messages from the Windows Installer tries to configure Roxio Media Manager and do not find a roxio Media Manager individual .msi file.  It is a very insistent installation routine because no amount of 'Cancel' or the restart doesn't eliminate the process.  Very frustrating.  The error message is asking me to specify a different path to the folder containing the installation package, but it is not found by my browing.  Maybe it's somewhere else?

What should I do or cancel this installation to complete it?   Really, I don't like whatever it is, because I don't use a lot of Media Manager.  Thanks in advance for your help.

If you do not use the Media Manager, I suggest to remove it completely. From my experience it caused problems with the Desktop Manager software. I would uninstall the Desktop Manager. Uninstall Blackberry Destkop Manager (DTM) using this guide: http://www.blackberry.com/btsc/KB02206

Then, download Blackberry Desktop Manager here (without Media Manager): https://www.blackberry.com/Downloads/entry.do?code=A8BAA56554F96369AB93E4F3BB068C22

Install it and I hope that everything works well again. Be sure to reconfigure your synchronization settings if you use them.

    See you soon,.

  • System of blackBerry Smartphones will reload

    Hello everyone,

There is an hour my 8900 the 5.0.0 running operating system (installed a couple of weeks) was loading a Web page in the browser when the phone has decided it was time to restart. This has happened before, but still had to happen with the current operating system, so I don't think a lot it when the phone started to reboot. I checked on her a few minutes later and the phone has been turned off, so assuming that there was a minor problem, I removed the battery and tried to reboot once more. He was checking the security of software when it stopped again. Subsequently, any attempt to reboot the phone by pulling the battery works until the moment where the bar black BlackBerry status reached between 50 and 75% where it stops once more.

Most recent software installation took place yesterday evening when I installed the new BBM, restarted very well 5.0.whatever and worked normally until this issue.

The thoughts and ideas would be appreciated.

    Thank you.

Most likely, it could be a third-party application interfering with startup, it happened the month last on a different model device. It is possible that BBM5, but for me I think it's less likely.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Congratulations! Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.
    http://www.BlackBerryFAQ.com/index.php/BlackBerry_Operating_System_Downloads
Just select the appropriate type of carrier and network, select your Blackberry model from the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.
