  Unit has worked fine for almost a year. Am in the car this morning and all 4 lights were lit. I put it on the charger. Battery turned LED orange for a bit, then back to red. Never turned green.

  Apparently, it is news to everyone.

  I can tell you all that no combination of keys pressing/holding on the Visor speaker will change or disable the LED display. I can also say that almost anything can have do, no amount of charge will fix it.

  That said, the only thing left to do is let it burn until the battery was empty and all the lights had been arrested. It's exactly what I did.

  Then, I put it on the charger. He immediately begins a workload with the battery LED RED only. In 3.5hrs, charge finished with battery GREEN LED lit.

  I turned on the unit and the British female voice said it to my phone. As nothing unusual happened. Make a call and everything worked normally.

  I heard conflicting ideas about it, I heard that ideally the light he supposed to flash red until the message is read, but made me not like yours after a while, he returned to the green.

  There is a third party called application alerts bb that will beep when you have a new message and it will continue to beep until you acknowledge the message.  However, it costs 12 or more $, but there is a free trial version.

  I recently updated a number of our phones blackberry 8100 company for the latest OS 4.5.0.55 platform 2.7.0.68)

  When a call is received, and I answer with the green button the phone always goes into speakerphone mode. I have to move the phone to the ear and press the OP button to turn off the speaker for the call.

  It is confusing with the appellant because they're not sure of what is happening during the few seconds of quite while I turn off the phone mode talk.

  I've updated a number of phones and all other seem to answer calls in fashion phone speaker not as expected.

  I looked in the menu options to find an arrangement.

  Thanks in advance for any help...  If no solution is found, I might have to reflash old firmware and then reflash firmware again.

  With the phone, remove the battery and then replace it... which has toured on mine when it had the same problem

• Tablet 2 green led always on?

  Hello all, first time poster here. I had MANY problems recently with my 2 Tablet, due the send twice, but it seems to work perfectly.

  I just noticed, however, and maybe that's there all along, that the green light under the web cam is always on (except when the Tablet is completely off). Is this normal? For some reason, my recollection is that this light only when charging or when initially turn it on?

  Maybe I'm just paranoid lol... any help would be appreciated.

  I've had my Storm for about a year now, and I had this problem for months.  If someone sends me an sms, I can't always hear the sound alert, feel the vibration and see the indicator LED flashing red.  If none of them is the first time I get a text, then they usually don't won't happen if I got another text message a few minutes later.  But the next day, it can work properly.  This happens regardless of whether or not, my phone is sheathed.

  Ringtone: Notifier_Eager

  Volume: 7

  Sound in case: Yes

  In addition, RIM will never come out with an OS 5 for the 9500?  I see nothing but the leaked versions online and no announcement about whether.

  RIM announced rarely updates.  Not all carriers release the software updates in a timely.  You can load releases of other carriers if your does not release it.  It will work the same if your carrier released and in many cases, your operator can release the exact same version as another carrier.  The only differences are contained in each languages and as they all English this means that in the United States, we can load any version that comes out of any carrier.

  If you do not have the 9500 and not the 9520, 9530 9550 and then use the following to upgrade to OS 5.  This is not a version of 'leakage' but an official OS published by a carrier (if it cannot be your operator).  Because all operating systems are written by RIM for each type of device it is not really important which carrier releases.

  Battery is three years, probably time to replace - I think it is not sustainable as it was.

  But there may be a few other conflicts. I noticed that when I wake during the night in total darkness, without the LED is red, barely perceptible. Maybe who empties it?

  Leave the battery choke.  Remove/replace the battery and charge it.  It should pop back, but this is a temporary fix.  It will happen again.  Back up your Blackberry Desktop Manager data and replace the unit.

  Since a few days my Bold9700 always sends data. The outgoing arrow in the upper right isn´t same flashing. It is now fixed and doesn´t disappear. Apps only I have is Handelsblatt (journal German it s, but I configured it will only update manually if I do) so I have facebook and windows Messenger where I m is disconnected. So I Don t know why he sent always or it apears that it sends. Is it possible to check if the phone sends data? or does anyone has the same problem? I rebootet BB but it helps doens´t.

  I have a Curve 3 G (9330), software package version 6 2426, Media player version 6, storage space is free application 268,1 MB, storage card free media 3.5 GB space on 18.

  I think that I fell on the cause and the solution to my problem.  The software module of the multimedia player wireless sync has been active continuously.  Whenever an event has occurred on the device, it could trigger the function of wireless synchronization and automatically start playing the MP3 files available.  By removing the wireless synchronization module, media player does not start blasting music at the wrong time and in the wrong places.  Because I want to only synchronize with the music on my PC, it's no big deal to move manually the music files (USB) for the storage card from the BlackBerry.

  Hey guys, I've just started using my new torch last week. All very well so far, just call (in the central party phone application) log is empty, no matter what I do. I tried all the settings in the menu and also checked the folder (lots of calls) and had it displayed in the list of messages as well. If the calls are recorded, shown just is not there at all! What should do? May not be a problem of memory, since it is the new and free of all data (music, photos etc.) so lots of storage! In addition, it is a branded phone not that I consider an advantage.   Age of your device is not relevant. If your usage patterns consume a lot of resources, it's the situation. But I have no way of knowing what your habits are, so I can't guide you.   It is always important to correctly close applications when you are finished with them. Using the back or on the red button won't do that - those leave the app to decide what to do... and some let themselves memory-resident, consumes resources on your BB, slowing down the overall performance. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy. Some have taken to do this on a regular basis as a preventive measure... some as often as once a day. Others got the app QuickPull to automate a simulated Batt Pull.

• BlackBerry Smartphones green LED when the load

  Hi all

  I wonder if you can help me, I charge my phone in its cradle every night in the bedroom. I had to turn in bedside mode when charging. Problem is that if I keep the phone then I get notification sounds when you receive emails etc. If I turn off the phone and docked I get the Green solid light that lights up the room when completely loaded. So any info on the following:

  1. disable the Green LED when loading?

  2. can I configure bedside mode to enter in silence?

  3. can I plan a silent mode to switch at some point?

  I have my bedside mode configured to turn off the wireless radio. In this way, I don't get the emails until I turn radio wireless (at the exit of the bedside mode).

  Another thing to do, is do not use the charging base, but using the cable plug and return your phone so that the light is directed downwards and not upwards.
