BlackBerry smartphones to remove previous reminders?

I had problems to synchronize with Outlook, causing me to have to use 'One Way Sync' and 'Replace all records in the target.' (I'm not certain exactly the wording of these configuration parameters subject because I'm not in front of my desktop computer where my software is.) Although I check 'Delete all previous reminders' they appear on my desk a few weeks as much as 100 + suffering. With a simple click, I can "Reject all", but it's annoying to have to do this every day when I sync. Any ideas? Thank you!

Hello philhughes,

One recommendation is to change the synchronization of 'All regular transfer' to a range of dates or future items.

Once nominations are on the BlackBerry, unless you plan to make changes or additions to the latest appointments, you don't need to use the transfer of all the option elements.

What kind of question have been affected by the way in which two sync? You receive an error message?

Let me know if the new settings to work.

Thank you! And have a nice day

I haven't bought a 9700 ROGERS no contract to replace my phone to work. The policy of the company, is that none of the mobile devices cannot have any method of navigation interenet. The 9700 will not network go, unless you have a blackberry data plan and I have nothing but personal messaging plan which works well. The problem I have is that the wifi browser still works and even when I remove the wifi browser in the service books, it is just when I do a battery pull. How can I permanently get rid of the wifi browser without being connected to a BES? (the company doesn't have a BES) - hide the icon isn't enough...

Find the .cod named net_rim_bb_browser_dameon and move it to your new folder cod.

    3. plug the device and on your PC, open the Desktop Managver > AppLoader > Add/Remove programs and work your way through the process to remove the net_rim_bb_browser_dameon module. • BlackBerry Smartphones 8830 remove key brings up menu sending

When you type an e-mail, if I hit the delete key to delete a character, a menu appears prompting me to send, save, or see the full Menu.  Send is highlighted on the menu... so if I hit the delete key again, the message sends.  This makes the deletion of a character string or text very difficult.  Any ideas on what causes the menu to appear?

    Hello

    There are two possibilities:

    (1) you press the wrong key - if you hit the button to the right of the trackball, you hit the 'BACK' / 'ESCAPE' key - it is not a back key.   This key is used to close the screen or the current menu and go to the previous screen, or to exit the current screen, which is what you do.   The correct BACKSPACE is the small button at the end of the rightmost in the midline of keyboard (line 'ASDFGHJKL').  It is the key which has "DEL" in small letters.

    (2) you have a faulty BlackBerry.  By pressing "DEL" by writing an e-mail, causing this abnormal behavior, is not normal.  Return to the store/carrier for a replacement BlackBerry.   Demonstrate the problem and they will agree that it is defective.

  • BlackBerry smartphones to remove several Messages?

First of all, I have the storm. It is not perfect,... and has a way to go, but it's a whole new product and design for Blackberry. Be a software QA tester, I see it all the time. Give them people of the time, I do not know marketing that knocked out a little faster while engineers would have liked, they always do. Let know what the problem with the storm and I don't know that they will do their best to fix it.

Second... does anyone know how to remove several messages or emails at one time? Or am I missing just something really easy to do?

  • BlackBerry® Smartphones email remove options

I've just updated the software for my verizon blackberry curve 8330 and when I receive emails and delete I don't have the delete option but before this update, I was able to remove it on my phone or my account my phone and email.  I don't know how to restore this set of options?

    Thanks for any help.

    Al

Try to send your service books:
1 connection to the site of the BIS of your operator (where you installed your email)
    2. go to help and click on "send Service books.

Then configure the options of reconciliation again.

Do a battery pull as well:
    1. remove the battery while the phone is turned on
    2. wait a few seconds before inserting it again
    3. wait for the long end of the boot process (takes a few minutes usually)

This clears most of the software problems that occur on the BlackBerry from time to time. You can also use Quickpull, a free application that simulates a battery pull without removing the battery: http://software.crackberry.com/product.asp?id=27660
A battery pull gets lost when using the applications memory and clears minor software errors that creep over time. The blackberry is running an operating system just like your PC is running windows and battery pull is the equivalent of a reboot / restart your computer.

  • Sync blackBerry Smartphones Gmail removal problem

    Hi all!

I know this question was asked a thousand times and I apologize.  I have search and tried so many different options and nothing seems to work.  This is my last chance to try...

I use gmail.  It is implemented through BIS on my curve.  I set the synchronization in BIS online options.  I tried manually sychning, hours of waiting, to restart the phone - no matter what I do, which has been deleted in my gmail Inbox online is not removed on my pocket computer.  There must be something I'm missing and I just can't understand what it is.

Any help would be so appreciated...

Hi and welcome to the forums!

Enter the mailbox - options - email reconciliation. You'll see the Delete option on, select mailbox & handheld box. Save,

This should allow you to delete your gmail account on your BB as well as the box Gmail mailbox.

Please let me know if this helps, or you need help.

You can also synchronize your Gmail Calendar; Try this link,

  • BlackBerry smartphones cannot remove the old emails

I had my auto delete on the device set at 15 days since I got it.  Recently I scolled back expected I'd be searching through 15 days of messages.  Instead, I found that I had old messages as in last October.  I managed to delete messages in January, February and March, but I could not delete messages in 2008.  I changed automatic removal at 30 days Beach, no difference.  I restarted the unit with the battery several times.  Any thoughts on this phenomenon?

Of course, it comes to connect the BlackBerry to your computer with the mini-usb cable and using the Desktop Manager software. Since in the Desktop Manager, you can go in the backup and restore icon, and then click the Advanced button. On the right, you will see the BlackBerry databases. You can select the database of Messages, and then click the clear button.

This to erase all messages (e-mail, PIN, SMS) between the unit and should solve the problem.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones how remove you?

I have a blackberry 9650.  How to remove the saying sent by my blackberry when you send mail to answer?

    Thank you

Oh sorry... who seems to only discuss the auto sig, which applies to the BES KB and not BIS. Try this instead:

    1. Home screen
    2. Setup
    3. E-mail settings
    4. Connect to BIS (credentials if they apply)
    5. Select the relevant e-mail account
    6. In the General Options section, enter in the "Signature" box to view what you want

You can also manage your configurations of account BIS from a PC/browser through your Web of BIS carrier site:

To find your level of BB OS through 5.x (I don't remember to 6.x):

    • Home screen > Options > on

The third line of the text... mine says v5.0.0.1015 which means I'm at level OS 5.0, version 1015.

    Hope that helps!

Given the blocking of the country, I can't use it in other countries, regions. I am in Netherlands and frequently travel to other continents.

Does anyone know how to remove the lock of the country?

Your comments and advice would be much appreciated.

sdgardne is correct, that you want to contact your provider for assistance.  You will also get a new SIM from TMobile card.  Other people have discovered that in some cases, old SIM cards are not working 100% in BlackBerry devices, but once that they swap the SIM card, they have no more problems, and he can use his device as you would expect.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones installed DM6, previous version remains

Hello. At the risk of asking a stupid question, I installed DM6 yesterday and was surprised to find that it has not replaced the previous version. The old version is still there and the device. Is there a reason I should keep it, or do I just uninstall it?

Also, this is normal behavior, or something weird on my particular installation?

    Thank you for the ideas!

    Hello

Yes, you can go ahead and uninstall the old version of the BlackBerry Desktop Manager software on your computer.
