  E-mail messages come into icon "Office".  Phone also shows the "Messages" icon and icon called my Email address but messages do not appear here.  Do not seem to need all three.  This need?  Can I delete the icon?  How?

  You can hide the icons that you don't want to see.

  Hover over the icon > press Menu > hide.

  No, unfortunately, you can not change the carrier brand on the main screen.

  With respect to the identification of the appellant, it will show the caller's name if you have them in your address book.  Otherwise, you get only the number.

  I tried and tried to solve this - if anyone can help then this is fab...

  I have too many message icons on my BB Bold 9700...

  I have one for my email - useful work!

  One of my SMS and MMS - useful!

  One for my personal email - useful!

  And then a single stupid who wants to group all messages in one place and mix up and warn me (even if others already warn me) etc etc...

  It's quite annoying.

  Any way to get rid of it?

  Simply hide the icons that you don't want to see.

  Attention, if you hide the icon key messages and never receive a PIN or push browser message, message etc, it will come in your main folder and you're going to be looking for.

  I don't know which carrier you have, but go hereand download the software and install on your computer. Once installed connect the BlackBerry to your computer with the mini USB cable, and then open the Desktop Manager. You get guest on the latest detected software and you just click on the button update now and follow the instructions in the wizard. If you do not get this prompt simply go into the Application Loader and follow the wizard.

  For the MMS, which carrier do you have? Some carriers, such as Sprint are not MMS.

• BlackBerry Smartphones not receive texts on 8350i (Nextel)

  I have a BB Curve 8350i with Nextel network. I can send texts and they are received by others almost instantly, but when someone texts me, I don't receive unless I have turn off the power and then turn it back on. I tried to reset several times, and I've been to two stores for help. They said is was the network, but I know other people who receive their texts very well.

  Is there a solution? Someone else has the same problem?

  I finally found something. I was told that many peopela had the same problem, and a hotfix is made to repair. Until then, all we can do is re-start incoming texts.

• BlackBerry Smartphones how many members, you can have in a GROUP?

  I am trying to create "groups" in my Blackberry 8330 Curve.  On my previous phone, I could only send a text for 10 contacts at the time even if I had more than 10 members in a group.  By the older style BB users, I was told that it is always the case.  Is someone can it tell me if this is true with the new 8330's?  For example, I would like to create a group of all poker players in my address book (about 50).  When I want to play, I could choose this group called the Poker players... type the message and press the Send button.  It is very aggravating to type the message 5 different times and select each group (1-5) all because you cannot send more than 10 contacts at the time.

  I can't find any limitation on the number of members in a group or in the documentation for 8300

  or the knowledge base. I'm afraid you'll just have to test it. You might think to use

  groups called poker poker two 1.

• Help blackBerry Smartphones: lost emails / texts, without contacts and some applications do not work on 9780!

  Yesterday my camera started to get really slow so I decided to restart it. I did and was still slow, so I did a batt pull. It seemed be allright job but started sometime send me errors (app 603 / and these application exception).

  Now it takes a long time to turn on, when he does continues to give these errors and some things do not work, for example, I can see my contacts but I can't open it to see their information.

  Before I format it, I was wondering if anyone had these problems and if there is no solution?

  The only thing I would like to try and save it would be my contact list (no, I didn't save the device)

  Go to your browser, Options, General Properties. Now, you will see where you can change things. I have mine to column view, global Serif, size by default and Minimum value 8. Experiment and see what you come up with.
