  Not tried them: (1) open the back door and look for debris. (2) open the Feeder and locate debris.  (3) open front (involves opening door cartridge, unplug the printer and remove the trays) and search for debris.  (4) self test printing.  (5) restart the system.  (6) unplug the printer while and leave unplugged for 60 seconds to force the delivery.  (7) repeat steps 1-4.  No SOAP.

  Have you tried what is obvious.  Turn on the computer and the printer off both.  Now, unplug the printer from the computer.  Turn on the computer and then turn the printer back on.  Now reconnect the printer to the computer.  This assumes that the printer is connected to the computer via usb.  Alternatively, you can try to plug the usb cable into a different port.

  You use a different type of paper to print with InDesign? The program itself can cause the paper jam, but maybe the settings or the paper you are using are the cause of the problem. I often print on thicker or InDesign photo paper and usually just put a sheet in the printer at a time to help with jams and paper pick up questions.

  My J5780 is probably 2 years or older, always worked very well in all aspects.  Today, he has done several print jobs, from one to three pages, as usual.  After the last (single page printing) print job completed successfully, the printer started out of the blue, a page of paper feed, then fed a second page, (both without printing), and then to half way to the two - third through feeding white page 3, he recorded a paper jam.  There is no paper jam; the before food, rear Wireless, scanning area, high flow access, double all the areas checked with a micro-lumiere.  No scraps, corners, Chad, dust etc.  Printer turned off during 10-20 seconds, to bike, same;  Turn off the printer for 3 minutes, even.  Power dropped once or twice for 1 to 5 minutes, without change.  No pending or in process printing, last print job was successful and completed satisfactory.  None of these events seemed to have any printing tried strictly paper RSS, from 1 to 3 sheets, variably interference on the first, second, or third leaves, up to now. Sometimes with feed several sheets of two to six leaves.

  Thank you, Rainbowlady23.  I have clean the rolls early in the process.  So.  Went through your hard reset suggested and as soon as voltage, he started the food cycle like the previous, however, he seemed to be a little bit slower, so I thought I could get through the menu of the printer to default settings selection.  Did it, and the cycle food order.  Tried to do a self test report, but he hung up obviously try to generate the report.  I canceled, did a hard reset of the second, has a different selection of menu/factory by default - and Bingo, it is fixed.

  If you have tried all the steps above and you still have problems, you could tray holding a more rigid media piece (like a sheet of photographic media or card stock about the thickness of an index card - do not use the thick cardboard).  And see if you can feed through and clear jams.  If it will not feed exceeded stage stuck bits, you can try to unplug the unit and manually feeding the rigid sheet through the drain plug back.  Often, this will push some of the pieces of paper remaining through.

  I got the impression for about 2 years.  Jams printer after paper feeds about 1/3 of rolls.  I inspected all areas of paper jam.  I think that there are papers torn or other debris in.  I cleaned the rollers with compressed gas area.  Attention no longer flashes when I remove the paper stuck, remove the cartridge and reinsert.  Jam if I feed tray or manual tray background.

  Mystery solved.  I was using an "accountant" Linkyo cartridge.  Just for the hell of it, I replaced it with a cartridge Linkyo and the document without problem.    Lesson learned.

  I was able to solve the problem by removing the printer my printer list HP, eliminating all jobs "pending."  When I added the printer to the list - the error message disappeared and it is printing.

  Sded unique printing works great but causes a Paper Jam print double-sided.

  It says paper jam tray 2.  The paper gets stuck in the upper flap tray 2 and does not seem to move further.
