During the last two weeks, I received several cases where I received

I said yes and he fixed the problem.  Yesterday, I sent a BBM message and the phone reset... on suddenly it reboot only gets 3/4 of the way through the startup process (stops under the 1 'r' in the Blackberry logo).

I tried a multitude of things I've seen on many forums, including let it stand all night with the battery, try to start in safe mode (which I never could get it to do).  This morning, it does the same thing.  I found a post that suggested to reformat the internal memory, which I should have done when I had questions.

Is it possible to get this reformatted internal memory if the phone does not start?  Any suggestions would be helpful.  I will ask a new phone of my business, but know that I won't get it until tomorrow... so I'm willing to try anything to make it work again (today).

That's what I set my phone freeze (9860). By JSanders.

    (1) make sure that you have Blackberry Desktop Manager installed.
    http://NA.BlackBerry.com/eng/services/desktop/
    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".
    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".
    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Congratulations! Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.

Simply select the model of the device in the list and download the latest version. Install this download and follow the steps above again and you should be on the right track.

I got the message on the screen error 102 reload software and go to the site Web of BB more 102.

I followed the instructions but he asked mainly check software was last updated. Can't do anything if my 9810 is not visible when connected to my computer at home with the BB Desktop Manager

To reload the software in my phone, I first, get a cenection between PC and phone I guess and download from RIM or BB site.

Is that someone here has experienced the same error code 102 and remember how it was resolved.

Thank you and I hope a quick answer, it's so nice weather outside...

Here is the link where I found the instructions on a French-language forum for reload applications using the DOS commands, even if your PC does not see your smartphone when connected. The error occurs when the phone is disconnected from the prosecution, which is starting the program causing the software down and release the error code 102.

I think that the same procedure can be used for many different with phone software problems when it fails

    Hey ariana1,

Welcome to the community of BlackBerry Support Forums.

The best way to fix an uncaught exception error is to perform a clean reload of BlackBerry Device Software: http://t.co/nkzR2KN

  • BlackBerry smartphones yet another untrapped exception code:

After reboot, I get the following:

    Eception exception:-64989 > = 1543 or<>

    Someone corrects?

This problem has been solved!  It seems to be related to a Contacts list corrupted.

    Behavior problems:

    1. I have not 'remove' contacts in the list and became the warning 'external' (see many other positions).  I could add and remove a contact, but not the 'old'.

    2. a contact always appears at the top of the list, even though it was out of use.

    3. I could not search in the list by typing a letter, is "No Contacts" only.

    4. sync didn't work for Contacts with Outlook.  Everything was fine, but he just ignored the update of Contacts (perhaps the "beep" was an unreported error).

    5. the backup file have not all the addresses listed.

Here is the solution (in fact more than a 'nuke' a solution, but who are the way software works these days!):

    1. backup of the phone, including memory using Desktop Manager.

    2. go to Options, Security Options, safety clean and check Email, Contacts option.  Accept the warnings and type the word of confirmation.

    3. restore the info from the phone using Desktop Manager.  Backup and restore, advanced.  Open recent backup and review the content.  If there's address book or contacts list, remove them.  Select all the other elements and restore the phone.

    4. run sync again and it should update the list of Contacts (from Outlook in my case).

The Exception error no longer appears, and the list of Contacts behaves normally.

Hi and welcome to the Forums!

There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

There may be a code updated to the value of the carrier - check out them through this Portal:

The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

Go to the home screen. Hold down the key and type "lglg". (You won't see anything as you type). This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably a lot of pages) until you see a line that says "eception execption. Click on this line. The application name will be in the info.

The other method is to remove the apps one at a time, wait a while between the two (I usually recommend a week), until the problem stops... revealing the offending application.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones "Cannot access local files" error when syncing with Outlook

I have an old BlackBerry Bold 9780 which works well. However, just yesterday, I started getting a "Cannot access local files" error when you try to use BB Desktop to synchronize with Microsoft Outlook 2016. I uninstalled and reinstalled the BlackBerry Desktop Software 7.1, but the problem persists. There is no error when using Outlook or other aspects of synchronization in BB Desktop.

I am running 64-bit Windows 10 on my desktop computer. I got no synchronization issues in the past until yesterday. To my knowledge, nothing has changed.

A Google search for the error message returns questions posted on several different forums, but there is no clear solution given.

The problem seems to be in Outlook, rather than with the BlackBerry Desktop, at least in my case. I solved it by repairing my Microsoft Office installation. For most versions of Office, this is accomplished by going to the list of programs installed in the Control Panel, highlight and right-click on the desktop and select the option to repair or change.

  • BlackBerry Smartphone App 433 on 9850 error

I continue to have my 9850 gel at least once a day. Often open an email at random. I turn off the phone then turn it back on and get this:
Eception exception: Application net_rim_bb messaging_app (433) does not. the process is complete. I even deleted BB Messenger and you still get this error 433 app.
Anyone got any ideas? If this isn't the case, where can I go to climb this error to?

    LCromwell

You cannot find "Error 433" on your device App logs events, but you will of course find everything concerning "Eception exception:...  "So look for that, then you will know that the application with which it is linked.

You can reboot you device now, so when you feel this error search, the event logs, I'm sure it will help.

  • BlackBerry smartphones * code Please HELP ANYONE * error 507 and new for BlackBerry!

I bought my new Blackberry "BOLD", the Manager of office installed on my computer and Device Manager installed as well for the "BOLD" of 4.7.  When I plugged in my camera for the first time to fund manager began through a procedure and update the phone.  After a few minutes he said it was a mistake of some sort, that the backup was on the computer and use to fund manager transfer on the phone.  I opened the Desktop Manager, and does not recognize the phone.  Give me just a DTM vacuum with no connection and no option either.  Please someone help me, this causes a lot of stress for a new phone.

Ok!!  I solved my problem (with the help of MANY people here or by phone).  I wanted to implement EXACTLY what I've done so that no one has yet this headache.

This is for people who have some kind nuked Blackberrys or receipt error message 507.

Step 1: My problem initially was the destop Manager (DM) and the operating system (OS) that I tried to download.  Two of them that I found online from blackberry.com and ATT.com.  They were correct, but for some reason versions DM messed up during installation.  It looked OK, but as I had no idea of what it was supposed to look like at, I knew not the wisest.  This is what it looked like to me:

Step 2: If it happened to you, RE INSTALL THE DTM!, do not UNINSTALL.  When reinstalling, it will ask you if you want to modify, repair or remove.  Click on repair and move forward.  This will install the file that was missing, for me it was software.msi of blackberry desktop.

Step 3: Now install the OS of your provider

Step 4: Do not open the DM!  Instead, click on start > my computer.  Click local disk > Program files > common files > Research In Motion > Apploader.  Then search for the file named "loader", there must be an icon phone little next to the name.

Step 5: this will launch the application loader.  Remove the battery on the back of the phone.  Now plug the phone DIRECTLY into the USB port.  Don't use hubs or anything like that and make sure that you use the BACK USB ports, those are made for mass information.  Then click in the apploader, it will say "UNKNOWN USB" that's fine, just after...

You will get a screen of control everything you want to download, go ahead and take your things, some you can't.  and then click Next.  It will give you a list of all you send to the BB.  Hit next and sit, make sure the computer will not sleep or Hibernate or screensaver for this can interrupt the download!   I did this and for some reason any upload took forever and I kept getting this screen:

    Encountered unknown error [J:0 x 00000005]

I had no idea what to do.  I went out and bought a USB cable for cameras and MP3 players.   It was Belkin and make sure its GREAT SPEED!  I came home after MANY attempts with my other USB cable (motorola razr) and plugged it up, done what above, and it worked in 10 minutes, rebooted and back to factory settings.  I am so relieved that I wanted to put this up immediately.  I hope this helps you all!

Phone--> call--> hit-->-->--> Call Logging Options menu key select all calls to show them in the list of messages...

When I try to access the logs of phone call since the messages folder, the same error message appears. does anyone know what what can be?

You can delete a phone log at the same time.

Connect the device to the desktop computer.

    Start the BB Desktop Manager.

    Go to the backup/restore

Hit the "Advanced" button, now find and click the button ' call telephone logs "in the list and press 'Remove' (or 'Clear') under the list.

I received a notice that there is a software update, with improvements and tried to apply today using the USB connection.

Now, I get a "App Error: 523" / Reset. "." When I rebooted the 9550, I got the same error of App. Since this phone takes about 5 minutes to reset, is all that it will do in the future?

What can I do to get out of this loop?

    Thank you.

    Don.

I would first say a reboot, once again, like that >

With the BlackBerry powereddevice, remove the battery for five minutes and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this way is prescirbed for most the gltiches and operating system errors, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Now, if you get the error 523, you will need to follow these steps and remove all your third party apps, at least for now, until you add a trailing by one to see which is the cause of the problem.
