BlackBerry Smartphones unable to publish on Facebook of Social Feeds

Hello

I have Social RSS installed on my Blackberry and it is integrated with Facebook. I can see messages from my friends through this application. However, when I try to post on Facebook, it gives an error. The error is "your message was sent NOT Facebook. • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to download apps

    Hello world...

I have a little unusual problem, I can NOT download any application from Blackberry App World.

When I select any application and 'click' 'Download' I wonder to accept 'Blackberry App World Blackberry payment Service additive to the Blackberry ID' and after accepting that I see "Please wait" icon for a few seconds, but after that nothing happens at all. "

    What should I do?

    Help, please

Hello and welcome to the community!

I hope that it contains something useful.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to update BlackBerry App World on Bold 9700

I use a BlackBerry Bold 9700 BlackBerry OS version 5.1.0.121 with BlackBerry Device Software version 5.0.0.442.

When I click on the BlackBerry App World on my camera icon, I get the following message:

"To continue to use BlackBerry App World, you must upgrade your current version. For more information, please visit www.blackberry.com/appworld/support. »

So, I click on the upgrade button. My BlackBerry browser then launches automatically and tries to open the "'http://appworld.blackberry.com ' page." However, whenever I tried this, the page may not load in Black Berry browser and remains off. I tried to leave my phone for increments of 10-15 minutes to load the page, but after several attempts, I was never able to open the page successfully. I still get a blank page.

So, I visited the next page on my desktop: http://ca.blackberry.com/apps/app-world/download.html.

I tried the first method of sending the URL on my device, but it ended up with the same result described above when I tried to access the URL that was sent to me. The BlackBerry browser displays a blank page.

I then tried the second method described on http://ca.blackberry.com/apps/app-world/download.html. I connected my device to my computer via a USB cable and clicked on the download, it affects today by following the instructions on the page. But, when I clicked on the button, I was led to a "Mode not available" page that says the following:

"Downloads via a USB connection are not enabled for this product. Please visit our mobile download site using the browser of your BlackBerry® smartphone. »

So my problem is cyclical. The page that I need to access the site to download the App World can not load in my BlackBerry browser and I can't download the product via USB either. This seems to be a bug, and I want to report it to Research In Motion.

If anyone has any advice on how to solve this problem, it would be much appreciated.

The solution described on http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-World/Can-t-upgrade-BB-World-I-think/m-p/2485451 solved this problem. Thank you, sdgardne!

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to use BBM

I can't use BBM on my curve 9320 such as a message informs you that exception; java.lang.NullPointer as follows Eception Exception. What's this & how can I get rid of him?

Hello and welcome to the community!

There is virtually no diagnosis of those - they are the equivalent of random errors in Windows for which trace the root cause is futile. Basically, here's the last out in the programming code - some event occurred for which there is no event handler in the code. The patch is an update of the code that handles the event... but, again, what is the event is almost impossible. So, there are a few things to try:

Sometimes, the code simply is damaged and needs to be updated - just like a reboot:

    • Each time a random strange behavior or slow creeps, the first thing to do is a battery pop reboot. With power ON, remove the hood back and remove the battery. Wait a minute, then replace the battery and cover. Power on and wait patiently through the long reboot - about 5 minutes. See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

If it doesn't boot properly, then you need to try Safe Mode:

    • KB17877 How to start a BlackBerry smartphone in safe mode

There may be a code updated to the value of the carrier - check out them through this Portal:

The toughest possible causes are a bad application behave. To find it, there are two options. Is to see if you can read the log file:

Go to the home screen. Hold down the "alt" key and type "lglg". (You won't see anything as you type). This will bring up the log file. Scroll down (probably a lot of pages) until you see a line that says "eception execption. Click on this line. The application name will be in the info. Alternative methods to implement the newspapers are in this KB:

    • KB05349 How to activate, view, and extract the the event logs on a BlackBerry smartphone

The other method is to remove the apps one at a time, wait a while between the two (I usually recommend a week), until the problem stops... revealing the offending application. Yet another method is to recharge the BB OS itself, leaving little time between the addition of other applications on the BB in order to be able to determine exactly what is the cause.

Good luck and let us know!

Impossible to take the picture. Through the BlackBerry. Expert s/w came to know that a file is missing, named "javax.microedition.media" and show msg "javax.microedition.media.MediaException: Unable to take picture.
    Kindly help!

Hello and welcome to the community!

A missing file is difficult to come back in and of itself. On the contrary, a clean reload of the OS is a much better method to retrieve it. The easiest way is, on a PC (you can not do on MAC):

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below.

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

6 (a) to change your level of BB OS installed (at level or lower), you can run the Desktop software and connect your BB... the software should offer the operating system package you have installed on your PC.

6 (b) or, for recharging your BB OS level installed as well to change, work around the Desktop software and use the CHARGER. EXE directly, through step 2 in this process:

If, during the process of 6a or 6 b, your BB has an error '507', simply unplug the USB of the BB cord and reinsert it. do nothing else... This should allow the installation to continue.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

    Hi shark_bait

Welcome to the Forums of the BlackBerry Support

You must activate the BlackBerry data Plan / BIS on your account, it will allow you to add your BlackBerry ID on your phone and allow you to use all BlackBerry services via your Mobile network. Please call your operator or mobile service provider they can add it to your account.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to use fancy smiley applications

    Hi all

I installed applications fancy smiley and when iam trying to use this app while e-mail he invites me "" your current coding of SMS do not supported smileys.please go to options-> SMS-> datacoding and assign UCS2 "...." " I followed the same but unable to use fancy smiley applications... Please guide me.

    Thank you best regards &,.

    Karthik. M

After you follow these instructions to set the code UCS2, did you do a reboot of the device?

    • Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones unable to use BBM: contact is still pending.

I just bought a BB Curve 9220 and enabled wireless data plan on my GSM sim; which has already been activated. I tired to add a contact to BBM using the PIN, email and name, remaining in the State of pending: authentication required. Targeted contacts have also done the same thing; but of no use. I can send and receive text messages by the PIN. But unable to start a conversation on BBM. I ask somone to help me sort this issue as was the single most of the main reasons for me to get a BB BBM! Sigh!

(My email address is checked on the BB, which works perfectly fine).

    Thank you

Ensure confidence that you have a data plan that includes messaging as BBM, a BlackBerry data Plan not limited only to email (got some mobile service providers, that have different stages of data like this plans).

If yours is understood BBM, as the dependence on the send your service books to activate BBM.

    Hi Kelly;

Is it possible that when this happened, the phone was in a State of forgetfulness and corrected since then with the battery pull?

Messages and lost data problems are surrounded by the low-memory problem, for further investigation and monitoring of memory must be done in order to understand why this happened. If FB is the only 3rd party application, that you have installed, then something else is depleting the memory. I don't have any solid answers and perhaps another user of the forum can sound to shed light on this.

There is another option and that's to update the OS on your Blackberry. That would solve questions surrounding the corruption of the BB OS if you recharge the appliance.
