  What you're saying, looks like it's your device lock password, which prevents you from your device. Only this password can unlock it, but for one reason or another it just is not be accepted. Most often, it is because of the keyboard... you may think that you type a number, but actually, it's a letter, lock shift is power or some other modifier key is not present in the same State as when the password was created. Unfortunately, with just one more attempt there is very little to try... you get only once chance, so the probability of success is low.

  I suggest you remove your battery, wait 5 minutes, then insert the battery, but wait at least 15 minutes before you try anything. Only, you get a chance, so you must leave your BB to be fully started before trying anything.

  If you fail the last time, what will happen is that your BB will wipe itself clean of everything and be as if it were when you received first of all, including the removal of the password.   I am a user of 9700 in Western Australia, and I just recently upgraded my OS to 6.

  HOWEVER.

  Since last night, I was able to reboot my BB.

  When you attempt to connect to the PC method, it worked little when he started to sync with my laptop. However, I hit a dead end when he told me to put my device password, and I couldn't do on the BB itself, it was stuck on the sync-logo screen.

  I tried different time periods for the battery grips and last night after I remove the battery for 1 HOUR - I stuck it left and in return it at NIGHT while I was sleeping when I wake up, it is still stuck on the loading screen!

  I'm at my wits end!

  Problem solved, but I had to go about it in different ways.

  In the end I had to use my BB on my PC software (I used my Mac before).

  I found myself without downgrading the OS, then restoring everything.

  Right now, I decided to give another chance to OS 6, so hopefully things will go fine after that!

  So I plugged my computer and has been in the BlackBerry Desktop Manager thing and I was updating the software of the phone, but in 9 of the 11.
