  Your best solution is to get the BBID in the use of the former owner. Before you turn off the anti-theft and wipe the device set up with your own BBID.

  If you set a password for the device from the site Protect is the new device password. If you don't know, then after 10 attempts the appliance will wipe itself. Once it clears, you need the BBID password to set up the device again.

  I recently took my Z30 currently Q10 so basically I crossed link blackberry and used the feature of switching device, I fly over all fine except the apps that flies over does not have the entire screen of the Z30, alone takes up the same space as he did on my Q10 and I can't move applications into the empty space at the bottom of the screen.   Hello, I bought a Q10 yesterday and carefully implemented a new acct BB ID and password. Then I tried to login with the password, and be kept said that it was not valid and try again. There is no way that the password was not correct that I of course could see it as it was typed. During the last attempt of 10/10, I had the last attempt! red warning letter.  I then decided to re - set the password and was able to do it using my computer and the email link, but I put in the same password first, which was accepted.

  When I tried to log in the phone, it would not take the password and sometimes suggested that I had tried to use a different ID to BB the one saved in the phone. In the meantime, I can connect to BB ID through my computer using the same password. Finally, I keep gettting the last attempt! red warning page letter whenever I use the phone and can't find a way to make disappear other than by cutting the phone.

  What I really need to erase the phone settings to return to place 1?

So I used to call the cops of Pocket composition of at least 38 times a day lol it sucks, but now I use a password lock screen more of a case to cover the screen so I can't have a Pocket dial. I noticed that they even updated the "Emergency call" button to where not only you have to click on it, but I also have to call 911 as well. Who is now a secure enough phone from Pocket composition now. However, there is one thing that will annoy me because I bought a new case for my phone which does not cover the screen, now after I text someone or something else, I lock the phone, but it takes about 1 minute without touching the screen for the password screen to come, so I can win again accidentally someone dial for a minute. Is there anyway that I can put my BlackBerry Q10 where do I type a certain touch before I can slide my phone to take me to the password as an iphone screen? Thank you!

  An OEM Holster will have a magnet hidden inside, placed exactly there where a receiver exists on the device. When they come into close contact, the device will be locking password (assuming that on screen password security, you have that selection is enabled). That's for cases, make sure that they are either OEM or make it clear that they are for your phone model (the receivers are in different places on the various devices).
