BlackBerry Z10 Notification words "Text Messages" in the hub of BB is in French - "text Missatges '.

Just got my Z10 a week ago and I love it.  Figuring a few more of the workings, but I usually enjoy.  Only one strange thing is that in my BB Hub, the "SMS" words are actually in French - 'Text Missatges' and I can't understand how to change it. The rest of my BB is in English.  I tried to change the language of the camera and that did nothing.  I think it might be a software problem?

Mine was originally in German. I put my English language, even if they already said English and it solved the problem

Whenever I plug my iPhone into a USB port on my Toshiba laptop, I get a message «overload the hub» I tried to reset the ports using the Device Manager, but it does not work. Can someone help me solve this problem?

This means that the phone ends so much power that the ports are closed to avoid damage to your laptop.  Get a USB hub powered (the one that plugs into your computer and comes with an adapter to plug into the wall) to provide more power, or less plug items on your USB ports at the same time.

  • BlackBerry Z10 removal of hundreds of Messages in the hub to a single click of 1 button?

    Hello

I have a Z10 and love the phone.

I have all my 10 email accounts hung in the HUB which is absolutely awesome!

What I want to know, is there an easier way to remove hundreds of emails from the HUB, once I do a specific search instead of clicking the button 'SELECT PLUS' and individually by selecting one at a time...

I wonder if as in Outlook, you can click on the email at the top of the page and then shift and click on the email from the bottom to select as many messages as you like and delete them all at once?

If this isn't the case, I hope that someone will add it to the list of the already excellent features, the phone has.

    Please let me know.

    Thank you

    TW

I don't know if you are aware of the function delete prior. It allows you to delete all messages prior to a given date. The only thing with this function, it is that you cannot select individual messages to maintain, but if you want all went to a date selected and previously, press on and keep the date in question in the menu that opens you just tap on the icon to the trash with the arrow pointing down on this issue.

    I hope that helps you.

  • BlackBerry, BlackBerry Z10 Z10 - voice of emails not showing the Hub after software update

I have a BlackBerry with Verizon Z10 smartphone and yesterday I upgraded to the 1.0.4.1 version. Now my voice messages are gone from the hub and I don't even understand notifications whenever someone leaves me a voice message. I called Verizon and they were not able to help. Everyone is having this same problem? If anyone can help? Thanks in advance.

I had the same problem as you - including voice mail option missing to add to the hub.  No amount of battery pulls or re - start has helped.  Here's what worked for me: go to settings and turn voicemail Visual.  Agree monthly fees of $2.99. Wait 5 minutes as stated then compose yourself and leave a voice message or both.  You'll notice the Visual Voicemail icon (and the message indicator) now appears in the hub.  Return to the configuration and disable my visual voicemail.  Your regular voice mail and test messages, should stay now.  Do not know if you/I'll get accused the $2.99 for 10 minutes of visual voicemail, but it will be useful to come back to regular voicemail.  I hope this helps.  Post back with your results.

  • BlackBerry Z30 sudden loss of gmail in the hub messages

Other features of Google continue to work very well (for example, calendar), but not gmail messages received to the hub for the last 48 hours or more. They always come to the webmail page.

I did change all the parameters, including the email or the Hub settings.

I hope this is enough information? Thanks in advance for any help - Eric

Hello and welcome to the community!

With a strong carrier network (for example, not only WiFi), I suggest the following steps, in order, even if they seem redundant to what you have already tried (step 1 should translate a message from your BB... Please wait just before moving on to the next step):

    1) register HRT

    • KB00510 How to register a BlackBerry smartphone with wireless network
    • Please wait a "record has been requested' and a 'registered' popup message appears

    2) restart

    • Hold the top button until the counter reaches zero. Wait for the unit to be completely stopped (for example, nothing appears on the screen, no lights, etc.). Hold the top button until the red light. Wait through the entire boot process.
    • IF this fails, you can try the more energetic method of exploitation of the volume up/down keys until the unit completely stops... Wait a little and then turns on normally.
    • See if things return to functioning. Like all computing devices, BB suffers from memory leaks and others... with a hard reboot is the best remedy.

I hope that will move things again for you! If not, then you should try remove and re-add your configurations for the relevant accounts.

    Good luck!

  • The new passports e-mail blackBerry see the notification but aren't in the Hub or individual folders by email.

That is what happened a couple of times briefly, but now seems to be a recurring problem.

When I get a new email for one of the dozen or so accounts I have, it gives a notification message and sound but does not appear in the hub when I go there to read.  If I click on the notification message soon enough, I can read the email but when I go out, it is not housed in the hub, and I can not open again. The messages are gone from the e-mail server I use as well.

This only applies to e-mail no matter the imap, pop, etc. I receive all messages without problem.

one of my friends had similar problem and used a PC with webmail or Outlook to move all items in the Inbox to another folder, and then move them back to clarify

  • BlackBerry Z10 saves e-mail Messages

I have an email which I want to keep for future reference.  If I just leave it on the HUB, I'm afraid that I may accidentally delete by mistake.  However, I can't find any way to save it.  Also, in my email HUB I can't create a folder of recorded message.

Can someone advise please how to record a message?

    BBSJdev

Thanks for your help.  I called Godaddy.  Because I use a POP account, I can't add a folder saved on my account but emails are not deleted from the server after deleting in Z10.

An IMAP will allow me to add a saved mail folder, but the messages will be deleted from the server after deleting in Z10.

In this context, I decided to keep waiting on the server is much more important and so I decided to keep things as they are.  Your help is appreciated by which I can make an informed decision.

Hmm, I bought my Z10, a day ago and always try to play and figure how things work.

Realized today that I can not answer facebook chat massages through the hub of blackberry. I checked the forum and found a similar problem that shows a red clock on the left side of the column, my typical massage is not visible, and the time watch Thu, 1 jan 8 "00 am for each test I tried to meet a cat. He disappears as well if I close the hub and re entry. I checked the time as its perfect setting. the friend I tried I you answer on my friend, which in my case is different from the previous users list. whether friend or girlfriend, I can't answer via the hub of bb.

    Help, please!

    Thank you!

    Try this first:

    • Your main settings > accounts (sliding down from the upper bezel) and click on Facebook.
    • At the bottom of this screen, click on delete.
    • Perform a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart.
    • After the restart, return to the same location and reconnect back to Facebook.
    • Now, see if the response works in the hub.
  • BlackBerry Z10 unable to find contacts in the Contact application

    Hello

I have been using BlackBerry Z10 for a year. I was very satisfied with the performance of the device. I am indeed! but do not know what happening sudenly I'm unable to find any contact which is already available in the contacts app (NOTE: I do not use 3rd party app to store my contacts)

Software version: version of the OS installed is BB 10 OS 10.3.1.1779

This is the setting I made on my device:

    Automatically merge Contcts - WE

    Sort contacts by name

View the contact as -firstly, the last

Show the accounts in the list of contacts:

    BBM contacts

    BBM contacts video

    LinkedIn

    Facebook

    Twitter

    Outlook.com

    Contacts from the SIM card

    BBLink

    Search using cloud is UNCHECKED.

    Please do the needful.

    Thank you

    Nishant

Wait... you mean you installed an update of the OS? And after that, this behavior started? If Yes, then the most common thing to do after an update which translates questions is to perform a reload of the OS. Sometimes the update process have errors and others... with a reload often cure the problems.

Official methods, which will be controlled as to what exact OS versions are available:

Non-official methods, which are cleaner and allow you to choose a version of the OS that maybe your carrier (or anyone they control your offers) delays in approval:

Of course, before you start this, you want a good backup link, a manual copy of the memory of your device to your PC and complete documentation of your configuration (identification information of account, adding applications, configurations, etc.). Sometimes, restoring a backup returns unit corruption even, must be eliminated and reconfiguration from scratch can solve that.

    Good luck!

  • BlackBerry Z10 how to sort messages Outlook on Z10?

How can I sort my email so that the older messages appear on the top not the bottom? I can ' find the option in the settings to achieve this.

    I don't think it's an option.

However, you can quickly move down (oldest) of the list in the Outlook of the hub tab > tap the overflow of three points > and down arrow to immediately realize the oldest message.

  • Z10 blackBerry I delete an e-mail from the hub, but it still shows and will not disappear.

It is removed in the e-mail account on my pc but not on the phone, it continues to show on the hub and also e-mail account well. I don't want to wipe the phone, restart, shutdown and restart does not remove it. There is only a single email which will not disappear and the Remove feature works for all the other emails received in this account and other accounts of e-mail, I have on the Z10.

It's a pop and it is 35 days but there took a few days of the date of receipt to remove so I hope he will introduce rejected. Thank you.

  • Why blackBerry smartphones don't my messages on the forum list?

Last week I posted 2 questions, one and only yesterday, and I don't see them on the list of messages - what am I doing wrong? I am a new Member since last Thursday.

I see 3 posts by you. To the left of your message, click your name. Scroll down to the "Recent messages" section, and you will see all of your messages.

I don't know what list you expect to see, but they are certainly there (somewhere).

    Good luck!

PS - one possibility is that you posted to a particular Board, but the Board wasn't the right pair to publish this investigation to. Our Mods are often a lot of "household", moving messages in the appropriate areas of the site. It is therefore possible, as was the case for your other posts... of course, that we cannot know with certainty, because we do not see the "back-end" like the Mods can see. But your messages exist.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones lose e-mail messages from the Inbox

I have my BB Style set to keep messages in the Inbox for 30 days. However, they disappear within hours of arrival. How to fix this?

Thanks for the help. It seems #3 was the question. I disabled my wireless e-mail reconciliation according to the instructions in the attached items. Has not dropped an email every day.

  • BlackBerry Q10 Twiiter does not work in the hub

Hi Please help my twitter and facebook notifications alert in the hub of bb. When I try tansferring pictures of blackberry links it end with ERROR. It's now my second q10 bb in a week, but both do exactly the same thing. 08/03/2013 all new replacement today 08/10/2013 was the first purchase of the fone

Correct, the only tweets that appear in the Hub will be those who have mentioned you or direct messages on Twitter.

The normal timeline Tweets are not designed to appear in the hub.

What'sApp and BBM should appear in the Hub if you have set up to appear in the hub, doesn't it?

  • How do you write messages in the hub?

A notification icon at the top works for most use cases, but if we receive messages via our application, how do ensure us than those appearing in the hub, as well as all the other messages?

In fact, PIM: e-mail is e-mail CRUD.

I have just re-read the BB10 notifications what API and its description say it will do just what I asked questions on:

"The Notification API allows you to create an object of the notification in the universal inbox for BlackBerry 10."

    https://developer.BlackBerry.com/HTML5/APIs/notification.html

I got confused because it works differently on the PLayBook. I guess the hub is then responsible for adding an icon at the top, then on the home screen icon.
