BlackBerry Z10 Reload Z10 (4 hours, 5 hours, 6 hours?)

I decided to use the BB link to reload the device software this morning.
It works now for 4 hours and a half.
I have a green light on the phone and that's it.

Someone has an idea of how long this process should take, or have I lost my Z10 for good?

Any help is greatly appreciated!
Sincerely

Can't be sure that I'm right, but when I have a green light, that means I have to press the power button... have you tried?

  • Z10 extremely slow blackBerry restart / recovery (about 3 hours)

    Hello

I have a Blackberry Z10 for three months at least and I never had any problems with it, but I noticed that the restart / recovery has been quite slow, sometimes up to 10 minutes.

Today I had problems with my camera, I was not able to open any application (I thought that the problem may come from the screen... in any case) so I decided to restart / recover. (I don't know what's the right word). But the restart was much slower than usual. So I decided to remove the battery and put it back.

I did it at 17:30 and it is now 21:00 in my country, and it seems to be stuck or stuck at 99%.

I don't really know what to do, what do you think I could try?

Please excuse my English I'm not a native speaker, tell me if something is not understandable.

Thank you very much in advance,

    Landru21

Connect the device to your computer using the Blackberry link & reload the OS (Applications & data will be lost). Its should fix the problem if its something related to the operating system.

  • Reloading the blackBerry Z10 Z10 software stuck on logo Blackberry, continuous restart loop, did not help...

    Hello

Here to find the solution for my beloved BlackBerry Z10 STL100-3

One day, precisely 26 May 2016 my Z10 battery Blackberry went below 5% or something, I rushed to connect it to the charger but before doing so; It is just off. Problem: BlackBerry Z30 stuck in a reboot loop

    Comments/Details:

    1. when it is connected to the wall charger, the red LED flashes for a few seconds, the display shows "BlackBerry" name. After that,.

    a. device either goes to a restart mode, the icon reload Blackberry OS, the charging progress are shown and about 60-70% progresses he new go to the mode (flashing empty charging symbol) load

    b. or device is standing right in the mode, load with screen showing beteer empty, load, seeing to the top flashes still with the typical color of LED for empty-drained/low battery levels.

    2. keep on charging for several hours, or even overnight will not help to restart. And he remains in charge mode with b symptoms of "scenario". Start button / stop fails to start the machine and after several attempts, it flashes only 'Blackberry' on screen and again charge mode.

After meeting thiis reboot loops question on 26 May 2016, I searched rigorously blackbery support forums and other web pages a di a factory reset/software reload on my device. I lost all my data, but did not care as I wanted my Z10 back to life.

    Kindly help.

    Hi J Sanders,

Z10 was connected to the wall charger and all the tips/advice you mentioned have been tried. He could not start device.

Before trying the ADF, to check if battery is dead or defective; I kept it in my brother Z10. The battery was load and after a while, he turn the unit on its own.

However, the pile of work of Z10 my brother could not initialize my camera. I guessed corrupted software connection or the battery could be a problem.

I carefully observed battery connection ports, specifically the part that establishes the conncetion of metal tabs of the battery with the unit (given in the image http://www.gsmzone.co.uk/Blackberry-8900-Z10-Battery-Connector).

I found one of the metal connector stuck / out partially / fits loosely / spring-movement irregulars / and is not able to communicate perfectly with the metal strips of the battery.

I tried to solve this problem by manually removing the metal connector. After several test, I managed to do it.

I put my battery in my Z10, he acknowledged, and red LED flashed, name BlackBerry flashed, Blakberry OS Reload icon flashed-has increased 100%, Blackberry 10 name flashed and Z10 began. Device came to operational status.

Current operating system version is 10.3.2.2836.

No SIM or media inserted in it.

Charge the unit and check if all functions work fine.

  • BlackBerry 10 frozen start screen on Blackberry Z10

I have a blackberry Z10 Smartphone STL100-1, which is about 4 months old. Two days back I turned off and when I tried to START it was stuck to the start screen.

He was stuck in this mode for hours, but he could not start. Whenever I tried to restart, my phone has suffered the same fate. Another thing - I can't turn off my phone, whenever I do it just restarts and remains stuck in the splash screen, and continues to be in this state until it drains the battery it is completely. So, the only way to turn off my phone is doing a battery pull. The last software update was done on a few weeks back the mobile itself.

I looked at the internet for a solution and the most common solution was to go to a software update. Link to Blackberry does not recognize my device after this startup problem, so I went for the update from the web by using Internet Explorer. The update started but was able to complete and gave the following error message-"There was a mistake to update your software". I tried the update a few times more, but that was of no use.

It would be great if someone can post a possible solution to this problem. I wish I had my phone works again.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Given what you describe, I would recommend that you use an automatic charger to try to force a reload of the OS on your device. Reference:

    Hello

IM from the India. I bought a Z10 only today in the evening. When I arrived home and connected to the laptop, it has proposed an update to my version 261 91. But after that, my BB10 is not start. Just the red light keeps blinking on the black screen. When I tried to reload the software link, it says, the software is uptodate and turns again into flashes red. Please suggest me how to solve this problem as its been just 2 hours, I used the phone and he's dead to me.

Remove the battery for 5 minutes and pop again. In this post, there are two links depending on what type of screen appears once it tries to start, after the red light.

  • BlackBerry Blackberry Z10 Z10 restarts at least than the charger

I got my BlackBerry Z10 since 11/05/2013 and a week there, it restarts randomly and now anytime he's not on the wall charger, it seeks constantly to restart, but it never ends or if on the off chance that it does, it remains not on more than 20 seconds and it restarts again.  I just really don't want to get a new phone, but am at a loss here and really can't keep the phone on a wall charger all the time.  Any suggestions on what to do?  (In addition, this phone has never saved to a computer, not for want of trying.)

Hello and welcome to the community!

Please try this sequence... Note that, throughout the entire 4h15m process, your BB must be directly connected to a charger checked (not PC USB, not a docking station):

    1. With battery, connect your BB to the wall charger
    2. Leave it alone for 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not
    3. Remove the battery
    4. Wait 15 minutes
    5. Insert the battery
    6. Wait another 2 hours, no matter what the LED or the screen not

This has been known to "revive" some BBs. If but it does not help, then please try again increase the stage 4 time to 2 hours and possibly longer than 4-5 hours waiting.

It is also possible that your battery or BB has encountered a problem... to test, this sequence is necessary:

    1. Get a known good and already fully charged battery... use it in your BB and see what happens
    2. Get access to a BB good and the same known... use your battery in there and see what happens

The results of this will show if your BB or your battery that has the problem. Carefully note please that 'new' and 'know' are not necessarily the same things. Although rare, a 'new' battery could certainly be defective. On the contrary, the easiest (and cheapest, btw) method to perform this test is to find someone with an identical BB which has no problem... trade in batteries and see what happens.

Good luck and let us know!

  • BlackBerry, BlackBerry Z10 Z10 - battery drains very quickly even in sleep mode

My BlackBerry Z10, model number: STL100-1 v10.3.1.1565 of running operating system is suddenly cause battery drain issues. Earlier it used to happen very often that the battery begins to elapse without reason to a very fast pace, say, 100% to 20% in 2 hours standby.
From last 3-4 days, which happens all the time, I'm charging my Z10 to 100% and the battert runs in an hour or two with the phone gets hot as hell. Seriously, the temperature of the phone rises as it is boiling. It wasn't even a year and I am facing this problem. I was never tired of BlackBerry despite its app support deficiency compared to Android and iOS smartphoned but now I want to throw the phone in the river.

What Android apps you have installed?

Try first, do a simple reboot on the BlackBerry this way: with smart BlackBerry poweredphone, remove the battery for a minute and then reinsert the battery to restart. A reboot in this manner is prescribed for most defects and errors of operating system, and you will lose any data on the device doing so.

Look at your device sometime and see how it goes.

  • BlackBerry Z10 tries to remove newly BBID Z10 configuration and use an existing BBID

Hi, I recently bought a new Blackberry Z10 camera. I started setting up. I wanted to create a Blackberry user ID if I entered an email address that I use frequently. I got an error message stating that the e-mail address is already in use. I thought that I never used a Blackberry ID/product/service forward. I couldn't understand why this email address was used, then after you have re-entered it a few times I decided to try using another email address that I use as often. I put the BBID using another email address, however I have not confirmed it yet. A few hours later, I realized why Blackberry gave me an error message on the first email address, I tried to use. On two or three years I created BBM on my Iphone with a Blackberry ID for text messaging. I used a couple of times and didn't use it thereafter. The next day I went in my email account to see the email confirmation for the BBID I put in place a few days ago. Rather than confirm the BBID, I saw an option: If you did not create or do not recognize this account, remove this BlackBerry ID. Which is what I did. I deleted it. Because I didn't use this BBID. Then I tried to connect the Z10 with the BBID, I created three years ago (before logon on the phone I have to reset my password on the site Web of Blackberry). I could not log in with the old BBID, I created while all the information is correct (I can log on to the Web from Blackberry site, see my profile and settings). The phone tell me the username and password is wrong when I click on the button check that it is just for the opening session with my information screen. The problem is that the phone keeps the profile settings and e-mail address since when I put in place a few days ago and I can't get rid of it, because it is associated with the phone. I read on the forum somewhere, that, in order to get rid of a BBID who is on the phone, I would need to do a reset and community support of Blackberry. Not sure if this is true. The issue is when I try to do that, I have to enter the password that I deleted so I'm stuck BBID. Don't know what to do. I'm all new to Blackberry and would appreciate any support you could give me to solve this issue.

Hello and welcome to the community!

Indeed, this information is true. The only way to remove the association between a device and a BBID must WIPE the device. But... you've discovered...

    Mioprincipe wrote:

This means that the device must execute the last branch 10.3.2.xxxx of the operating system, which includes the anti-theft function required by the Government, which requires that before a device is deleted, the anti-theft function BBProtect be first to be defeated before the wipe. Without this step, after the wipe, the same BBID is required (to prevent a thief using the device at all).

Here is some useful information (all the "official" BB staff):

If you purchased your appliance from ShopBlackBerry, Amazon (U.S. / UK) or the Porsche Design Store, please communicate with BlackBerry using the details on our page contact us.

    Contact us blackBerry > http://blck.by/1MxtqPR

If you bought your device with a wireless service provider, or a retail store in person, or online, please contact them for assistance.

    When you contact your point of sale, please have the following prepared;

DO NOT PUBLISH THIS INFORMATION IN THESE FORUMS

    -Your BlackBerry ID
-Proof of purchase such as a reception
-A copy of your wireless bill that shows your phone #.
-A copy of your ID issued by the Government

I recently had my blackberry Z10 replaced because one does not turn on at all (after 4 months), my second replacement not detected by my Blackberry link (it was only for a few hours) and now my third new blackberry Z10 has another problem (got it yesterday) - Blackberry world does not load upward.

Whenever I have load up, I get the error message "there WAS a CONNECTION PROBLEM. BLACKBERRY WORLD SHOULD CLOSE NOW. »

For someone who had different blackberry phones since they have evolved, im starting to loose faith in all Blackberry phones...

Does anyone know how to get my Blackberry world working again please?

Battery not charging 100%, remains stuck at 84% to 91%.

    Hi all

I got my blackberry z10 not too long ago, and initially, the battery was not serious. A full charge is 100%.

Now, I'm having the problem of not to charge up to 100%. He shows me the icon of "lightning" up to about 84% to 91% where it stops and shows me the '=' sign as in fully charged or not charging.

I tried to restart the device and even turned off while loading see that fixes the problem or not, but nothing helped.

Someone here has the same experience? Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.
    Thank you

LEAVE it plugged into the wall charger (not USB > PC charger) for half an hour.

With the charger plugged, remove the battey a minute then reinsert it.

This will often reset the battery on the device reading to the actual battery charge.

my blackberry z10 stand up heat and my apps and setting are not open. When I click it, it redirect me to the 1st screen. even I can not open my setting too. so I can't do a securitywipe also. Help, please.

Try a reboot first. Hold your power button for about 15 seconds, until you see BlackBerry on your screen. Don't release it before despite what may appear on your screen.

If this solves the problem, you can reset your phone to factory specifications by using the link to BlackBerry. If I remember, once your phone is connected to the link of the button to press link Options is in the upper right and then Reload Software.

Keep us updated on your progress.
